Great spot... they have most of what you need when In a bind and the meat counter is great.... never had any problems. And can always find the hard to find stuff when the wife is wanting to make a special dish ext.even with all the craziness happening they still have a good assortment of products....

Really bad experience i was trying to buy some meat and the was guys was helping me wanted to sell me the meat was in the very front he wanted to give me the most nasty meat i ever see so i told him i wanted the other meat and he didnt want to so i not sure what he was trying to sale me the meat is very expensive to buy that ugly meat so for sure never coming back

It was 3 pm on Christmas Eve and it was busy but employees did very well taking care of customers. Line had several customers but cashier got to us in about 4 minutes so its not bad. Parking on the other hand was crazy.

On 04/03/2019, I bought two pollo plates and had both of their green salsas, one with the guacamole texture and the other without. My wife and I both got food poisoning. I finally felt well enough to warn you to stay away from their salsa bar and their cooked chicken. There is cross contamination somewhere amongst those items, and there’s something wrong with their preparation process. Owners and managers please take a look at the food prepping. Once I get food poisoning I never return to place, and I used to love coming here.

I like to shop herr because of their affordable prices and varirty of meats and fresh vegetables. Only issue is that there is some language barriers. You may get the wrong meat if you dont know the name in Spanish. I dont speak Spanish so Im having to try to read the labels which thankfully have both the English and Spanish names. The employers are nice and courteous.

Great place for mexican groceries and they sell good salsa. they have canteen inside serving tacos and enchiladas which is very handy

The customer service at this location is horrible,I stood at the restaurant counter for at least 30 minutes waiting to be served. None of the employees even took the initiative to take my order, I ended up leaving without a purchase and going to find an another food establishment to buy food for my family.I will not come in to this place anymore because this is not the first time that this has happened to me.

We went for breakfadt. Fantastic barbacoa. Meh...Ok menudo...really mild in flavor...needed salt and seasoning.The refried beans were delicious...could taste the garlic...which is good. One of the best parts was the chicarones with a little meat and also the amaxing produce. They had epozote which i could not find @ HEB for a recipe last week. I will get my avocados here ALWAYS! The spring onions were perfect and they had them grilled with the prepared foods as well. The store was extremely clean, especially the meat market. I had never considered buying my meat here, but I will next time. All in all really great if your looking for an authentic Mexican breakfast or anything authentic and hard to find!!!

Would not recommend the marinated chicken at this place. The chicken had a bad odor and taste when grilled.

Today i went by to see what their wensday special is, none the less. Sad. I ordered 3 tacos and 1 soft drink total of 10.05 not worth it. Why well i got the 3 meat tacos(barbacoa, pork in red chili sauce and fajita grilled)The barbacoa was mostly fat and very greasy.The red chili with pork was mainly bones but in a taco?And the dry fajita meat which i thought was jerky had zero flavor. I come here often specially on weekends to buy some of these items for grilling or by the pound(barbacoa) seems as if they keep to resell during the week. Not worth it. Next time ill go to bestburger. I did ask to speak to manager but he only passed by me and said call the number we dont deal with nonsense in store. I was not looking for a refund just to let them know that i had bones in my taco so they can at least warn the customer before someone chips a tooth. But i will call the number and tell em i posted this to google hope it gets their attention.

Food is ok, not great but since not many mexican meat markets in the are you dont have much option. When ordering carnitas or barbacoa by the pound, expect the worse service, as they don give you all the sides that every meat market gives when buying carnitas, No chopped onions, no cilantro, oh, and they give you a kind of water down salsa; they dont allow you to take from the different sauces they have on display as YOU are not considered a customer, so you are not allowed to any of it. Very, very disappointed with my last visits to the place; I over looked the bad service in the past, but now this is a little to greedy on their part.

In that place there is a baril and Mrs. Guadalupe who works there treated me badly, abused me, she was very unrepentant, I dont go back to that place.

Most of the cashiers are very rude, I dont know if it is discrimination or what, but how sad if we are all Hispanic I see a lot of reviews saying the same about the cashiers, I needed help with my card and the lady, out of laziness, did not want to help the card in other parts It serves but the lady for being rude and for not wanting to help made us pay in cash saying that it is the system

I think that it assumes that all the products can be reproduced and perhaps it does not give the added value of the brands that we look for for their already proven quality ... also the food in many of the stores is super greasy and the prices are high ... they dont even give you the food well served ... and the worst of the case is that many think that they do us more than a favor to serve us. I hope they improve and be something viable as well as more than a decade ago, courtesy, quality in products and good customer service
