It was the worst experience Ive ever had and worst costumer service.I bought my tires with Toyota of Stamford and I was told that I had 100% warranty for two years. Last week, I needed an emergency tire change and I went to Toyota and was told that I was still under warranty. I scheduled an appointment for the tire change and was advised that I had to drop off my vehicle for the day, so I did. I had to miss a day of work, pay for a train home and two hours later as I was stepping through the door of my home Toyota called and said that they didnt have the tire in stock and I would have to make another appointment. I needed to then turn right around back and have another 2 hour commute to pick up my car that should have been serviced. A rental/ transportation was not provided by Toyota for the inconvenience. Upon arrival, Toyota said I would be called as soon as the tire was in stock to reschedule the appointment and Toyota could not provide me when the tire would be available. Three days later Toyota called and let me know that the tire was in stock and they could provide service so I rescheduled again and took my car in, which resulted in another missed day of work. This time I was told it would take one hour to complete the service but it took over two hours. Upon pick up of my car, I was charged $169.00 dollars for my tire. I had immediate concern because I was told when I originally purchased my tires that I had two year warranty, and the person helping me acknowledged from the first appointment that I was still under warranty yet I was still given a bill. Not knowing I was going to be charged and then presented a bill I currently could not afford, I asked if there was anything that could be worked out for payment and was told by the person helping me would you like me to take the tire off? If I would have known that I was going to be charged, I could have been prepared and pay for the bill; however, twice I was told the tires are under warranty and did not need to pay. I left Toyota that day beyond upset, with $169.00 debt on my credit card, and missing another day of work. Toyota will never get my business again, and I need to share this horrible experience so this doesnt happen to anyone else.

The most unprofessional experience ever, of course they trying to show the world that they are a high tech dealership and they provide online purchases like other respected dealerships, I was checking their website, I saw a car that I like and I decided to purchase it “Toyota 4Runner” for $50296 dollars plus tax and fees as they posted on their websiteI did everything Online and I filled out the form based on the selling price on their own website which is $50296 after 30 minutes they called me to ask for 3000 dollars more than the selling price WHY?Because some other people are interested to buy this particular car, they started to play games and Saying we are fighting for you to get you the best deal, I want the original deal not their best deal I WANT the one you are advertising this is the most unprofessional sales garbage techniques to ask for more money after the agreement is done. I can’t trust them anymore, I’m going to call the attorney General office

I have done business with Toyota of Stamford off and on for 35 years! I bought my first car there! I always try to look at the big picture and I was satisfied with the services I received over the years. And, now, after the last several service visits I am frustrated. If the problem cannot be resolved, I would like to be told there is nothing that be can done. It is what it is!! The car is old and I understand it is difficult marrying new parts to an old car.In the past the service representatives listened to my concerns and there were no problems. Now, it seems they HEAR you but not LISTENING! There is a big difference between LISTENING and HEARING. I have tried to going to another service rep but I end up with the same person.I would have liked to give a better review, however, I cannot. Moving forward, I will bring my car somewhere else for service.

The staff was very friendly. I loved that the salesperson Raul U. was not pushy. Rather, he guided us to the right cars based on our needs and let the car sell itself. The financing was also a smooth process, Shaq provided us all the options for additional coverage and explained the financing thoroughly. I was very well taken care of and could sense the staff really cared that I have a positive buying experience. I am very pleased and would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family.

I was told that there was a tire sale. Buy 3 get one for a $1. Well that was the most expensive $ dollar I ever spent on tires.$1200. They did not even look new when I picked up my car even though I was assured they were. Felt ripped off after leaving my car all day from 8-4:30. Did not walk away feeling good at all.

I was contacted by Rich at Toyota of Stamford shortly after my Daughter’s car was towed to the location. During the entire time, Rich kept us posted with the progress made at the shop and went above and beyond to make sure that my daughter can have her car back on the same day. Rich was super professional, courteous and knowledgeable and explained exactly what was wrong with the car and how we should approach the issue.I received a call later on the same day that the car was ready and my daughter was able to have her car back that evening. Amazing service that was quicker than they estimated. Everyone greeted me with a smile and good attitude. The waiting room had plenty of space to stay 6ft from each other and so clean. I saw them disinfect all the chairs twice while I waited. Overall, excellent service. Thank you to Krisina who took my info and kept me informed on my service.

Excellent customer service by Jim Coughlin! He is amazing and very professional. My car broke down and had to be towed to Toyota overnight. He kept me updated on status, costs, recommendations from the technician as well as the estimated time I could go pick up the car. He really did make me feel at ease. The whole experience was stress free. I also like that I can now pay for the service using a link sent to my phone ahead of time which is super efficient! The sales department here is extremely rude. They sent my mother through several different people in her effort to buy a car, with zero consistency in care and costs. It felt like nobody was honest or helpful when they sent her to the next sales rep like a wild goose chase. The price of the car she put a deposit on got higher with every person she spoke to, after having documentation for the original price, and was called a liar by the sales manager. What a waste of time and money.

I was so angry I was spitting nails !! I spoke with a gentleman and gave him instructions to please call my cell phone on Monday to let me know what was wrong with the car. After not hearing from them around 11:00 am I called them. They told me I should know something by 1:00 or 2:00. Not hearing anything at 2:30 I called agin. They proceeded to tell me they were calling my house since 11:00am and couldn’t reach me. They told me they didn’t have my cell number!!!!

Long story short, on my first visit they didnt have the part I needed when I brought my car in for service after multiple calls. However- the guys at service made it right, they made me a new appointment a couple days later, secured me a loaner car, and got the job done for less than the surrounding dealerships were quoting me. So all in all, they took a bad situation and made it great.

Ive been to a couple Toyota locations by now for routine maintenance and a few other things. Stamford really stands out, I had the best experience working with them recently. They inspected every single inch of my car and found things others had missed. I asked for a rather unusual job of removing these large metal tracks in my floor, not at all a common request. They made sure to keep me informed and the job they did was way way beyond my expectations. It looks beautiful. If you can, ask for Jim!!

I can’t say enough good things about this dealership and their staff. I went in to buy a Rav 4 Hybrid in mid Aug and was told it would take a month to arrive. I placed the $1000 deposit with Marlon Reyes and waited till mid Sept to follow up on its arrival date. A few days before the car’s arrival, I went into the office to discuss financing options. Marlon showed us a fewRav4 hybrid Primes that were in the lot and within a few hours we decided to go ahead and purchase. The rest of the process was really smooth and I was really grateful for Anthony, Salvatore, and especially Marlon’s candor in providing details and responding to our queries. Marlon came in on his off day to help us finalize the deal.I also checked out Toyota dealerships in Queens but the service at Stamford was just exceptional.

I couldnt be happier about my experience with Toyota of Stamford. They gave me a very good deal on exactly the car I wanted, but thats only the beginning. From the start, the people at Toyota of Stamford stood out among the seven or eight other car dealers I interacted with. Their communication was great. Instead of sending me pushy form e-mails, they answered my questions in a timely manner and made the whole transaction go so smoothly. Raul picked me up at the train station in my own reserved new car -- a classy touch, I thought -- and was very patient about explaining the cars features and helping me with setting up the app. Traveling five states away to buy a new car sounds a little crazy, but it was totally worthwhile.

I had mistakenly booked a drop off appointment instead of a waiting, yet Rich was nice enough to squeeze me in. The app for booking the appointment does not require you to specify drop or wait and if you don’t it defaults to drop…not good…should fix the app to require one or the other before selecting the appointment.

Amazing service from start to finish. I started with sales rep Tony. I explained my situation to him as I was trying to get out of my lease and that my credit was subprime but I did have a co-signer. He told me that him and his team would definitely get me into another lease. I was worried because I had come from Subaru and they were telling me complete opposite. They were misleading and not willing to work with me at all (and my car was a Subaru!!!!). Tony was working remotely but told me I would be working with the sales manager and the finance managers to get it done. I was still a tad apprehensive. I went in, my vehicle was appraised, me and my co signers apps were approved (after Alfonzo worked on it diligently) and then I was handed over to the amazing Jessica to finalized the process. I am now in a 2022 Toyota Corolla which is a beautiful car and met my needs financially. I think I am officially a Stamford Toyota customer forever ❤️

I’ve always had an extremely positive experience with Toyota of Stamford. Steve DeFelice took amazing care of me for my first two leases until his unfortunate passing. It was beautiful to see a photo of him in memory in the office! Benji has taken great care of me on my new 2022 Corolla as well as Steve Sentementes the Sale Manager. I bought my 2016 Rav in 2016 from Toyota of Stamford and I havent taken it anywhere since. Im usually against the whole, dealership service aspect, because of the negative reputation of dealership antics and mechanics, but Im really proud to say, as a daughter & niece of two mechanics in UT, I am picky about who works on my car - Im a hard person to fool when it comes to the car world. Toyota of Stamford has totally earned my trust and loyalty when it comes to my car! They have always taken care of my car and my integrity when it comes to honesty of pricing & treatment plans of actions to take. I value their hard work, workable availability, and warm energy when I go in. Honestly they make me feel like Toyota family and I love going in there! Massive shoutout to Ken, Jim, and Stephanie!!! Theyre the best people to work with and in fact as I write this, Ken squeezed me in last week to fix a hole in my tire and Im calling tomorrow to schedule a Shampoo. I had been looking for a RAV4 Prime for months and every dealership I found were marking them up a ridiculous amount. Until I found Toyota of Stamford! I knew I was going to have to purchase the vehicle out of state so I was a little worried about the logistics of getting that done. The gentleman was very nice who sold me the car. However, I was at the dealership for THREE HOURS, which could have easily been avoided had we gone over some of the information over the phone or online. However, when I called before to make the appointment, I asked if we could exchange some Information over the phone first, and they said that that wouldnt be necessary, and to just come in. I will never again spend three hours there and opt for doing some of the paperwork online, over the phone, or go to a different dealership if you again insist on me coming in without collecting preliminary information.

Childish and unprofessional...I am not being mean. Im a business owner and listening skills are IMPORTANT!!! Plus, shrugging off any responsibility is just plain distasteful. I had a leaky tire. Toyota of Stamford fit me in at the last minute, fixed the tire and had me underway again in about an hour. And it cost no more than if I had it done at a gas station, but Toyota checked the other tires as well, and adjusted the pressure in each one. I am very happy with this emergency service.

Took my Land Cruiser in for a suspension/ leveling job, which my local Toyota dealership wouldn’t do. Quote was very reasonable. Facilities were clean and the staffs were friendly and professional (dealt with Ken). Ken is very knowledgeable and knows about trucks, unlike so many reps I have dealt with in the past. Got a loaner for the day which was convenient. Professionally done in three hours.Highly recommend!

Brought my car for battery inspection I had no air trouble when checking in to service dept, because I decided not to go forward with battery change as I left saw my tire fault light was on, went to fill air and sure enough whoever the technician was had punched a nail with a nail gun (you can still see the paper with the nail) in my rear passenger tire... Not too happy with their service. To sell you the car, good customer service; once you are out of the dealer forget about it. Bought a car in May, 3 months later, the battery stopped working. They gave me an appointment for a week later, so I had to miss a whole week of work. Anyway, We bought a extended warranty, but guess what? Does not cover batteries, so you would think they will replace it at no charge since I only have the car for 3 months but no 215.00 dollars had to be paid. Not sure I will be buying more cars from there or recommending anyone ever again.

One word....inept. Got side swiped by an 18 wheeler on 95 (not my fault) and had to purchase a car quickly. Purchased another corolla. This time pre-owned...never done before . When I brought it home, all the seats were stained and the touch screen didnt work even after the 160 point inspection. In addition, never got the manual and asked for it 3 times.Brought it in for the first service, which only one oil change is covered in 10k miles they didnt reset the maintenance required light. In addition, the switch panel came up and they said it wasnt covered even though I bought it in October.Unfortunately, I have learned my lesson never to buy pre owned. Very disappointed in the level of customer care within Stamford. Wanted to give the local business my business since I am longtime resident. Looks like I will be going north to Westport. Sorry.

2006 Toyota bought in Stamford. Lifetime dealer serviced. First 3 years in Stamford, gone to Greenwich for last 10 years. With COVID protocols wanted to be closer to home to make it easier for family to pick me up and drop me back off. Disappointed in work. Convenience wasn’t worth it.

I traded in my 2019 Rav4 and was assisted by Emily Agosti in getting a new Corolla hybrid, because the Rav4 was too big for just me. Emily was very helpful and efficient, answered all my questions, and is just a lovely person. Not really customer considerate. You check with them the time and they won’t let you know the real situation and let you come back and forth...Basic service is ok, but if they could be more customer-oriented, that will make a significant difference.

As always Toyota of Stamford was courteous and efficient. Because of covid19 they can no longer serve coffee so they offer bottles of water instead. Rich, my favorite service advisor, was as healthy as usual. I heartily recommend them.

Toyota in Stamford, man it was an AMAZING experience. From the first encounter at the Lot to going around looking at all the cars to sitting down to discuss the numbers and options for Lease or Financing. J.D was the sale person who helped me and my wife and he was very patient, kind, breakdown every details, everything was made clear. He wasn’t pushy, it wasn’t about solely about the sale but he and the sale manager cared that we wanted in a car, a good car for our family & a GREAT car is what we got ! Me and my wife made a great connections with everyone there and that’s something I’d love for EVERYONE to experience when buying a car.
