Brought my car in to have an aftermarket exhaust installed. Team was very professional and took the time to figure out the best way to get it installed. Install was very quick and price was reasonable for the work done!

These guys have earned my business. Not because its Meineke, but because of the guys who work there. On more than one occasion, I brought my car to them for a second opinion and BOTH times, they came back with a better estimate, without the unnecessary work and labor others had included. And, on one specific occasion, they did some work that didnt turn out the way they had planned and so THEY DIDNT CHARGE ME FOR IT! No matter what is wrong with your car, call these guys first and they will let you know whether or not they can fix it...NO BS!!! Ask for Fritz or Chris and you can trust whatever they tell you. Cant say enough good things about these guys.

Staff is so professional and accommodating. They set me up with a last minute appointment Friday afternoon at 3:30pm and had the service completed and me back I n the road by 5:15. Meineke Miracle workers!

Charged $30 just to lift the vehicle and tell me the price for work I wanted done. Paid $250+ for the job (Resonator Delete) that I later found out could have been done for less than $100. I do not recommend at all. If you are looking around to get quotes, do not even bother with this place. Unless you want to pay $30 just to have your car looked at and then told a ridiculously high price for the simplest tasks.

Went there for a brake job and had excellent service. Repair work was completed on time, and for less than originally quoted. Dealership wanted over $ 3 grand for the parts and labor, Meineke did it for about half that much. Excellent, friendly service- even fixed another problem for free that wasnt something I asked them to repair as part of drop off. Speak directly with manager, he is a nice guy.

I called and asked for an estimate on a specific repair on my car and the man said I had to bring it in. I said I just wanted an estimate and he hung up on me. Totally unprofessional and I will never take my car their again.

There is a great sense of accountability for the work here. Frank and co do a great job of making sure all customers feel good about the work being done. Definitely did not feel like they were taking me for a ride, fair price delivered for the work involved.Cant say enough about how much more I like this place vs other places in stamford.Also spend a certain amount in a year and get free oil changed the following year for free!

Had the flex pipe (part of the exhaust system) repaired. While I was lucky enough to get same day service, I felt I was even luckier with the attention I received. Repairs were explained. Costs were explained. Very happy with my experience.

Honest and reasonable. My go-to shop for car repairs. I have been using them for over 15 years. They are great when the dealer suggests a repair and then I bring it to them. There was one item where the dealer wanted $3,900 for an issue and Meineke came in at less than $1,000.

I had a great first time experience today. Fritz was very helpful when I called the other day & even this morning. Nice and professional. I needed a basic oil change and it was relatively fast. I had the option of waiting in their small waiting area or walking 1 parking lot over to Dunkin Doughnuts (with wifi). I did the latter and they called me once my car was completed. Walk-in/no appointment oil changes are 8am-10am. They also had a coupon online that I was able use. I would recommend for the cost, time, waiting options, and good customer service!

Ive been using Meineke in Stamford to maintain two aging cars for a several years. They are honest and reasonable. They are always willing to work with me to explore cost alternatives.Theyve done catalytic converters, mufflers, brakes, suspension, tune-ups, lube, A/C, heat, all kinds of things for me over the years and Im still happy with them.

They charge $50 just to put your car on a lift and look at it, that’s sleazy business tactics and is only there for them to make a quick buck off of you. Go to any other shop even another meineke locatIon and they won’t charge u money to just look at your car 😂

I have been dealing with Chris and Frank for over 10 years now. They have serviced three of my vehicles. A 2001 Chrysler Sebring coupe, 2007 volkswagen eos, and my current 2012 turbo beetle. From simple oil changes to much more complex jobs like when I brought my old Chrysler there limping with a bad catalytic converter these hard working men diagnosed the problem correctly, and performed the work exactly as promised at a price that was consistently lower than other garages. In my book they are very talented mechanics with the highest standards of quality and integrity. Im with them for as long as there in business. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good mechanic.

I went there to check a exhaust noise, they told me that both of the flex pips need to be changed, charged me 400$ cash or they said $550 for a credit card payments. After one year my car is making the same noise, went back they told me that only one of my flex pips was changed last time, this will be another 300$ cash....Never again,

Traveling home on 95, then engine light cut on (misfire). This Meineke squeezed me in schedule to fix issue. Im in wheelchair, 2 of the mechanics saw me struggle to transfer. They came over literally picked me up then placed me in chair.

Honest mechanics for real!

Terrible shop. I asked them to burp the coolant system in my car and they did so improperly. This caused my car to overheat and destroyed my head gasket. I will never bring another car back here.

They use cheap parts, changed brakes there and one year later it wears out. Went there ask for an explanation and they said I use brake too much. Will never go back.

Warning do not take your car there for major work there are only good to change tires and oil change thats it I brought my car there to change a thermostat and the water pump for $1200 and it still leaks, do not trust the frank (manager), Chris (owner) . Second time back dint charge me .. Problem still there, water pump still leaks...and they try to blame it on different issues..when to different mechanics the all say bring it back where the installation to back, when the back with the police and now Im getting my lawyer
