This is my happy place. If you need a book they get it for you fast even if they need to order it they get it fast. They also price match. Stop by the Starbucks.

I come here often to work. That baristas at the cafe are always wonderful. Rating this location 1 star because the bathrooms are always filthy. I legit have to walk across the mall to use their public restrooms every time.

I love how big the place is but its very pricey. Its changed a lot and I liked where everything was before and its now harder to find the young adult books and journals. I really do love this store though! Great books and amazing staff that love to help and start conversation.

Im giving it one star because of the café experience my sister had today. She wanted a Trenta drink with no ice and the woman filled it up halfway saying for the rest of the cup to be filled she would have to charge her double to fill the rest since normally it would have been the ice that filled it up. No one ANYWHERE ever does that when you say “no ice.” The woman attitude was disrespectful and ruined my whole experience.

Great place, outstanding customer services. I went to ask for the childrens book Tito The Tooth: Success by Zully Pina, and even though they didnt have at the store, the employee was prompt to search for it in the system. It worth the trip to Barnes and Noble.

Good staff- friendly and knowledgeable. Always some crazy good prices on certain items. For instance, wall calendars were half price where the same ones were still full price in the same mall. Super selection of gift items for kids, its almost like a smart kids toy store. Free wifi, a coffee shop and lots to browse.

Barnes and Noble is a awesome a always. Even with reduced staff there was someone available to guide you in finding whatever book, cd or blue ray you might be looking to purchase. Love all the extra items and gifts you can purchase there.

May be it is one of the best place to come during pandemic, not crowded, amber space, the clerks are very friendly and helpfull. We could not find the book at the store but they are willing to order online and ship to our house without extra cost.

Im a rabid bibliophile so any bookstore is a good bookstore but Ive always had a special spot for B&N. The store at the Stamford Town Center is large, airy, neatly kept, and the employees are friendly. I like that they now feature larger sections with toys and collectibles and educational items. The kids section is large and colorful and they have weekly readings. They also have a nice sized section for craft/hobby books (very important since I am also a rabid crafter!). Book lovers of all ages cant go wrong here.

Its got books, toys, and those cool collectibles from Japan. Great magazine selection, they keep the books circulating every few weeks, and the kid zone is still fun for parents too. The clearance and sale sections are awesome. They also have a Starbucks, but its disconnected from the other one in the main mall - cant use star rewards or whatever.

Its such a peaceful atmosphere where you can take your time to shop for new books. Prices are great. Very well organized. Staff is absolutely fantastic.

This Barnes and nobles is very tranquil. They have a good collection of books, fair prices, and some good board games.Plus, they have a Starbucks so thats a plus if you dont feel like walking the Starbucks located in the mall.

Typing this as of 6/20/20 16:00: Just called via phone. I managed to place a preorder for John Boltons new book (Release date of 6/23/20) Great place. Did not have to pay to place reservation on the book. Will pick up DAY OFF release. Had to cancel my order on Amazon due to an estimated delivery date of July 10th-22nd. THIS IS ONE REASON WHY WE STILL NEED RETAIL STORES. Been coming to Stamford Mall since summer 05. Sure the mall is dated but as some wish they simply updated it. MAKE IT MODERN.

Writing a review just to let the world know - blueberry muffin that I had in there was the worst one I ever had. Honestly. And I’m 47. So,stay away of the muffins :)Besides that,nice place,great coffee,good atmosphere,cool view and really friendly staff. But that muffin...dude!!!

The parking is so easy and this is the only large book store around! Its clean, quiet and well organized. I can always find someone to help me and the selection is great and most prices are good too. Its a good place to be on this hot day. You can find a good place to eat withing walking distanct. It is a good way to relax on a summers day.

The B&N in Stamford is one of (if not the) largest in the state. Theres a full Starbucks Cafe inside. Two levels of books, toys, other interesting items. Solid childrens section on lower level. Customer service team is very accommodating too.

This is the largest bookstore around town. It features plenty of seating and its own cafe serving coffee and snacks.its the old way to do it, and seemingly the only alternative to Amazons two day shipping. If time is a factor fir you, youre better off here.

The first time I went here, I was a tween and would always go play with the little trains of Thomas and Friends (now its Chuggington) at the toy section! But this time, I went to the cafe for the first time and bought a slice of Red Velvet Cheesecake! In this cafe, the Cheesecake Factory and Starbucks unite!

This review isn’t so much about the bookstore but rather the cafe located inside it. First of all the manager of the cafe is super rude to not only customers but her own employees, it’s disgusting. Second of all she enforces this rule that they aren’t allowed to give people cups of water with ice which is the craziest thing ever since every Starbucks I’ve ever been too has given me a cup of water with ice no problem. I’m just a Barnes and Noble MEMBER who wants to drink some ice water while she reads!

Its great to have a bookstore in the area. B&N had long ago lost interest in creating an ambience. Now the coffee area is a bedroom for those that dont have a place to sleep, but still I have to be grateful that B&N its still around and didnt take the path of take the money and self-destruct as Borders management did. Hope they remain an anchor for the c area for a long time.

I come to Starbucks in Barnes & Noble all the time to get my daily lunch. Today I came in to see the Café Manager Lita scolding a new employee in front of customers. I think her behavior was very unprofessional. The young girl was trying really hard and made a few minor mistakes nothing serious. Instead of scolding in embarrassing her in front of people your job is to teach her and show her what she’s doing wrong. Other customers were looking in whispering about Lita’s actions. And quite honestly I was embarrassed for the young girl. Lita really Needs to take a new training & management course because She is pretty pitiful.2/4/18 2:00pm

Quiet and nice but their bathrooms always smell sooooooo bad the smell makes me want to vomit. I actually brought my own cleaning products one day and cleaned up the whole ladys restroom, I dont even work there 😂

This place has many assortments to books, quirky gifts, journals, and japanese merchandise. I really enjoy the calming atmosphere and you might be able to find some great deals there with sales but most of the stuff is quite pricey.
