Ive been to a bunch of Ocean Blue events and it was always a great time. You never know who will be there. A bunch of my friends have been on their trips and they all say they were all a lot of fun and well organized.

The store recently changed hands, so I was concerned. I neednt have worried. This is a very conscientious and helpful dive shop. The staff are friendly. I had some equipment issues; the service could not have been more conscientious and first rate/timely. They owner called me personally to make sure I was happy with my equipment repair and everything that we had talked about. The staff seem very knowledgeable about local diving. I would recommend the shop to any diver in the area who wants first rate dive service and equipment maintenance. These are the types of places to bring your business.

Love these guys. Patient, caring and very detail oriented. Exactly what you want in a dive instructor. I cant say enough good things. If you want to really learn how to dive and not just take a quick and dirty class, these are the guys. I highly recommend them for instruction as well as gear - great prices and good stuff.

I have been diving for over 10 years. This is where I go for all my air fills, regulator rebuild and tank inspections. I have not been disappointed once. They pride themselves on quality dive instruction and they do not railroad you through training. They care about your dive experience and offer wonderful customer service. This shop has the right idea. A safe diver and a happy diver is always coming back! Highly recommended!

My kids enjoyed the instructors. The instructors were serious about the content and skills they were teaching but made the instruction fun. They were extremely accommodating with our schedules.

Michael trained my husband and 3 daughters. We also went 2 trips to Cozumel. I cannot say enough about the kind of attention that Michael took with my 3 young teens. I was diving with another shop in Connecticut and I was not overly satisfied with the level of training. Taking your first open water dives in the Long island Sound leaves a little to be desired. Rex was recommended to me by another diver. I decided to give them a try for my AOW training. They were very organized and professional. I drove down to the Dutch Springs Quarry with my own and the needed rental gear. Met my instructor and the other students. I had the most incredible experience. I now have a passion for diving. Rex has chosen some compassionate and skilled instructors. I just signed up for the Rescue diver course. Their fees are on par with other shops I looked at and Rexs customer service has been nothing but flawless.

I would never have believed, having dived in the most exotic sites around the world, that diving locally here, 20 minutes from home, can be so interesting. Oceanblue took me there and showed me how much there was to see, and I loved it all: the underwater scenery, the boat, and the simplicity of the operation. You take the boat in the morning, and by lunch you are back with the family. Hard to beat.

Oceanblue Dive in Stamford is a great shop / training facility. My kids both took their classroom and pool classes with OceanBlue. The instructor was very experienced and qualified. Now, OceanBlue is working closely with us to identify the best solution for their open water completion of the course which has to take place elsewhere. Its a great shop / nice people / easy to work with!

Amazing experience! I was a little apprehensive to get certified for diving. I pictured learning a couple of things, taking a test, and then finding myself in an ocean feeling totally unprepared. However, this class is unbelievably thorough. Not only do I know the material and technicalities of diving, I feel CONFIDENT while diving. Thats priceless!

Mike and Alex are great instructors and is always fun to dive together. They did the impossible to accommodate my 2 teenage daughters and me with SCUBA training after very short notice. Nevertheless the training was very professional and focused on safety. I went to Oceanblue and asked them to work with my autistic son and help him get certified for scuba diving because it was his dream and I was overwhelming pleased! They have an instructor that works with and understands disablities and is certified to do so. Dave Guilfoyle was amazing and worked to understand my son and how autism affected his ability to learn scuba the traditional way. Dave customized my sons course and patiently work with both of us to ensure my son understood and grasped the concepts of scuba diving. For any parents with special needs kids that love the water and want to scuba dive this is the only place to consider. You will need to work together with Oceanblue as scuba takes work, but it is 100% worth the time and effort . For every minute you invest Dave and Oceanblue will invest more. My son is so thrilled and extremely happy to be able to dive and see the wonders of the ocean.

I Am extremely satisfied with my experience at Oceanblue Dive! The training that I received for my NAUI Scuba Diver certification was top notch. From the classroom to the pool excercises I learned everything I needed to know to go ahead and get my certification. I actually completed my open water testing in Florida with another organization and Michael at Oceanblue made it possible for me to get my NAUI certification as well. Hes an extremely patient, knowledgeable, and a friendly teacher you can dream of.Reputation: I went to Port Lucas, Bahamas with Oceanblue in July 16. Michael selected Unexso dive op, walking distance from hotel Pelican Bay, who are one of the top dive ops. They were highly professional, were safety minded, and have very friendly staff. Michael has an outstanding reputation with these guys that enabled us to select top dive sites in the region, a boat to ourselves and a schedule of our convenience.
