Worst Shop Rite Ive been to in NY/CT. Produce was lacking. Normally shop @shop rite and was only able to find 1/2 our normal weekly list. Not from lack of stock/shortages but simply because they dont carry nearly the variety as other Shop Rite stores. Extremely cramped aisles and many items were out of reach for elderly people (helped a few while there). Best of all we now have to make a second trip to get the other 1/2 of our normal list.

I am not sure what changed. Produce - fruits and vegetables are extremely poor quality. Fruit such as strawberry usually have mold and most fruits I buy go bad only a few days later. Vegetables are just as poor. Onions are often brown and mushy and simply look unhealthy. Asparagus is half rotten and zucchini’s look like wilted baby cucumbers. What happened to quality grade a?I had to stop shopping here and take my business elsewhere which is a shame as I only live within waking distance.

Best deal ever! 33 oz olive oil for 2.99. Hopefully we can have deal like that more often.

Aisles are clearly marked. Excellent deli and meat market, friendly, helpful staff. Its only flaw, limited variety of items, but given its size, it is understandable. The larger store on W.Main St. Has a larger variety.

Prices are higher than the other Grade A Market at Hope st. Additionally, the layout of the store is very confusing.

Large store has a lot of items and is very clean,they also make their own coleslaw in addition to the mass produced type.

Things to love here: Affordable prepared meals. Olive and anti-pasta bar. Low prices on canned goods. Excellent meat selection.Drawbacks: Smaller store with many checkout lanes but a lack of space around them. Plan around the rush hour to have room to maneuver a cart. Small beer selection.

The best staff and presentation of products!

This is my local market, I am in this place several times a week. Let me start by saying, everyone who works there is pleasant and helpful all the time. Everything is always organized, stocked and clean. They have hot prepared foods made in house and a large selection of olives and cold antipasti items. They also have the most amazing donuts there too...

I like this store because its convenient. Its not as modern looking as some of the other grocery stores in the area but they have great selections and pricing is comparable. Best part for me is the butcher shop. They really know what theyre talking about and if you ask, theyll have great recommendations on what good, and even suggestions on ways to prepare what youre getting.

I like this market. It is near my house. It has great produce and a fine meat department. The management and staff are very friendly and they are starting to recognize me, which is nice. Several times I didnt see the best produce or a low supply and have asked if they have any in the back and they typically will bring out what they have in an instant. This is my go to Supermarket in Stamford.

I shop at grade a market and Ive been shopping there since I was 4 years old. Im now 57. The produce is always good the vegetables are good everything in that store is fresh and the people are the nicest and theyll help you with anything. The bushes will chop up meat for you on the side the managers will help you find anything and Ive never had a problem in there or a sour face or a bad word from anybody who work there. Ive been shopping there for 53 years with my mother and then as an adult

I have been going here for a long time and every time, the staff have been incredibly helpful. What made me go on here to write a review was one specific worker. Her name was Naomi. Upon looking for a desired item in the bakery that was currently fresh out, Naomi took it upon herself to call individual Grade A’s until said item was found. Naomi is a wonderful staff emmener who goes above and beyond just to satisfy even the smallest customer. Great job, Naomi! 10/10

Very clean, great prices and assortments

The staff is super friendly, and I had several ask if I needed help finding anything. A little pricier than other Shop Rites, and is also a bit smaller. However, the prices are still pretty good and the deals were great. Not the place to do big shops, but for getting stuff needed for dinner that night it is perfect.

Great place to shop checkout is the best!

The food is always fresh and hot and always just looks delicious, not to mention the kitchen staff who work extremely hard to keep the customer satisfaction level at Max. I personally recommend the sausage and peppers its the best thing that they serve.

Great staff, always helpful. The management goes above and beyond. But the store is small so it has a limited selection of products and it can get a little crowded at times.

Cashier Nahida was very disgusting and unprofessional, she had a nasty attitude on, could hardly speak communicate in English, she threw all my groceries, and the yogurt spilled all over the bags when I got home. and she smelled so badly like sweat. horrible experience, never going back.

I like going to this place to shop, but the employees need to be a nicer and learn English. Prices are pretty good also.

Place has hot food section

This is a moderately sized departmental store. It has a decent choice of vegetables. But I am probably spoiled by Stop & Shops choice of vegetables especially microwaveable potatoes. The store has some vegan options in food stuffs, and this is one thing I liked. Staff could be more friendly, and perhaps could wear a smile.

I did not have a good experience there today..afyer reading the fine print on an offer they had and spending a hour and half of wasted time there suddenly instead of puy any 4 your choice(which it clearly said on the ad) it became pick four of a single item not mixed choice.. after a lot wasted back talk at the register with the manager .I emptied the groceries that were already scanned, told them that I dont need to deal.with this nonsense and walked out .

Grade A Market (ShopRite) is a good place to buy day to day stuff and groceries.I find the prices of Fruits but cheaper compared to other shops in the area. Overall good experience shopping here.

I paid nearly $1,000.00 to walk it from new field green to the Tully center. And Im disable pushing a shopping cart and the city of Stamford,CT calls it a property tax on your vehicle. They didnt purchase our vehicle nor they paid the taxes when we purchased it or register it. And when you call something like property tax that means its stable to ground. As I know our cars move from state to states .So please tell me hows that property tax. Someone is pocketing all that money!!!!!!! Oh and people its close to the billions.

Great selection for the most part but Organic section is just okay. They have done a good job keeping up to date with products. Its not Whole Foods but a lot cheaper.

Grade A ShopRite has great prices and fantastic customer service!There are many helpful employees.One of the best is Ida in customer Service. She is a dedicated individual who is friendly, knowledgeable and most helpful when one has a question regarding a product, coupon or other matter.

The deli is good, mostly like any grocery store. Limited beer selection. The check out line are well staffed to help move line quickly.

A good shopping center with many options. Theyre staff is very nice and theyre deli is quick and sandwiches good.

A good selection of products for day-to-day shopping. The soundtrack with music from the 50s does not always help but the staff is super cool, some of them have been there for years!

This store has a large variety of grocery products plus a large selection of health foods and a very good butcher section. This store is literaly Grade A. It is our go-to store.
