Great Mexican restaurant. Food is great, Prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly. Defiantly one of my favorite places to eat in baku.

Spent my birthday yesterday at Maya and was a lot of fun. Mariachi is such a cool part of the whole experience additionally to the great singer Fuad. Food was delicious ! I am pleasantly surprised . Not sure why they call enchiladas as a burrito on menu but I will let it be. I wish they had corn tortillas to serve with taco. Also nachos tasted really good. Drinks were good, I can for sure say that they add enough alcohol to ur drinks. Great place for groups. KEEP IN MIND, smoking is allowed inside

The food is not mexican at all and its really expensive. I had a ceviche and I got a salad with just a few pieces of shrimp. Nobody speak english and the service was slow. As a mexican I don’t recommend this place.

I was a loyal customer here. Unfortunately, for the last couple month prices raised here dramatically. For example, price of nachos increased 2 times, when the portion remain the same.

This is a solid spot for good Tex-Mex food. I was actually surprised to get such good quality tacos and nachos in Baku - felt like being home in the States. Service was friendly. Prices are a bit high, but worth it.

Altough its its quiet expensive but Its amazing.Clean restaurant with professional team. Food tasty, atmosphere great ( near sea).Roughly can cost 20 manat (somthing about ( 15$) per person.Its the right place if you are looking for Mexican spicy food.

Maya has a great atmosphere and tasty food. The prices are a bit high though, especially drinks, even if you just order water. The chips and salsa were good, there just werent many of them, and there are no refills. Our entrees were good too.The only issue I had with Maya is that while the food is great, at least for someone from Texas, it didnt seem particularly Mexican, which is what we were looking for. They have the decor down perfectly, but the food seems more Azerbaijani with a hint of Mexican flavor.Try it out, its a nice place, just dont expect Mexican food!

Not tasty foods at all . Waiters are aggresiv . Burritos with beef is not burritos at all . Something between lazanya and pilov.

Great Mexican restaurant, definitely the best (if not the only one) in Baku. Awesome and tasty food at reasonable (although not low) price, friendly staff who speaks English, and live music all make it place worth visiting.

Mexican and barbecue joints are few and far between in Eurasia and I typically wouldnt recommend going to those in the region that do exist. And while Maya certainly isnt anywhere close to authentic Mexican cuisine, its food is pretty decent. The prices are a bit steep for Baku and the service was a bit slow. Thr restaurant was clean, had a well-designed interior, they played recorded Latin music. We ordered the enchilada soup, chicken tacos, and the ribs. Pork is relatively rare in Baku, so the ribs were a nice treat and they were cooked pretty well, as the meat easily came off the bones. The ribs came with sweet corn bread that was absolutely delicious. I would order that dish again when the swine calls for me.

Location is great. Food is ok.

Place attempts to serve Mexican food. Localized versions of it. Cocktails were bad so that we had to return them. First, they wanted to charge for them too, but then they offered to replace them with another set of drinks. Sunday ice-cream - big disappointment. Mexican-like band of four local men approached few times and (very badly) sang Antonio Banderas songs. That was funny.

Excellent food, best burrito in Baku. Sometimes drinks and food come at vastly different times instead of to the whole table, but it’s all great, service is kind and food is awesome.

Pleasant music, warm poncho is given to every visitor, the food is tasty, a little spicy, not familiar to the Dagestanis, in the sense that they have thin cakes instead of bread, the sauce is tasty, but you can’t eat it without bread. The location is very good, it was very nice to listen to music and enjoy the promenade.

Cozy place. Prices are not cheap, especially alcoholic beverages. The price of them is very high. The dishes are delicious. Pleased that the Mariats are playing live. But was it really impossible to find real sombreros for them, and to dress too in form, so to speak. But in any case, this is the only restaurant with mariachi. And thanks to them. Waiters I would advise to learn about Mexican cuisine.
