Our family of four spent the summer at Family and Friends Campground this summer and we had such a wonderful time! The owners, Jim and Meghan, were absolutely amazing people that always made their campers first priority and always were so super friendly and accommodating. The pool was lovely and the adult hot tubs are a very nice touch. Nice small campground where I felt safe to let my kids explore and play- lots of fun activities for the kids on the weekend and every single person I met was SO NICE! I’d recommend this campground to anyone traveling to the Sebago Lake area! Go on and camp at Family and Friends!
Was only there for 1 night. The owners are very friendly. Clean bathrooms with good hot water. They had a dance party which all the kids were enjoying. Friendly campers too. Wifi through out the place also.
Love this campground come here every year and my boy loves that he can catch. a fish every time
This is a really nice place the camp is beautiful and clean full hook up reasonable price plenty of room. We had a great time
Loved camping here. Will return
Love this campground. Go every year!
Booked online. Called numerous times, emailed & sent Facebook messages to question 4th of July events. No response. Took the 2 hour drive there to see our site and ask my questions in person. The sites were small, too close together, crowded, told only one tent per site despite # of people (not to mention the sites were so small, only 1 tent would fit), and the woman was very rude when I asked about a different site. We Left with the idea we’d be settling in for a week of camping regardless but decided to cancel. Numerous calls, voicemails, emails and Facebook messages later trying to cancel my reservation, never got in touch with someone. Never heard back. Never any further communication. Did receive the refund but would never consider booking or suggestion it to others just for the lack of communication and lack of customer service. The name of this campground fits-I hope they don’t treat THEIR family & friends like they do customers!
Great place if you want to hear barking dogs for hours at a time.
Don’t be fooled by the pictures.
Great site! Def will be back.
Fun atmosphere, friendly staff.
Always a fun time.
Jim and Meghan, (the owners) were incredibly friendly and helpful to me and my family as first time RVers at the first campground we ever pulled into an hour after closing time. Upon Arrival, I sheepishly explained I was completely out of Propane. Jim said he would fill it immediately. I then started the process of doing the hookups for the camper, and I got the connection from the camper to the sewer wrong, and Jim (returning with the propane tanks he filled at close to 11pm at night) kindly put on some rubber gloves and helped me. He is a model of customer service. If you choose to stay near Sebago Lake, stay here. You will not be disappointed.
Great camping experience! The staff made us feel welcome from our first phone call looking for pricing and availability, till their happy waves as we left the parking lot. We decided to camp here because our other normal camp was booked, but now we couldnt imagine going anywhere else. I highly recommend this place.
I really liked this camping. The setup is interesting because each camping spot is surrounded by lots of trees, which creates an intimacy and reduce the noise. Theres a little park for the kids, and the pool is really great. Enough commodity and near several beaches around Sebago Lake. We rented a rental unit and it was clean, well furnished and in good condition. I recommend!
Well maintained and friendly staff. Arcade games dont work for the most part. The fishing pond is small and hasnt been stocked with fish in awhile so there arent many fish worth fishing for.
Nice friendly folks, who are the owners run the campground, they go out of the way to accomadate. It is more of a family atmosphere here. Sites are nice but not all are full hookup.
My family and I have been camping here for over 10 years and we absolutely love Dan and Lisa. This campground is always clean, friendly people everywhere you go, fun games and theme weekends!!!!Dan and Lisa have watched my oldest daughter (who is now 13, but ideas pregnant with her when I met them) grow up and they have seen my other 2 children (4 and 14 months) grow up all the way from pregnancy to now!Sadly, Dan and Lisa have sold the campground to a young family. My family and I look forward to meeting the new owners and camp there for many more years to come.
A lovely place to stay in our rv after a long day. Happy to support the family owned park. Surprised and pleased to have wifi and cable. Nice clubhouse.
We ask for a level site and they put us in site2 and it’s has a hill. We end up having a lot of problems leveling the camper. This site is awful for anyone in a wheel chair. The renter before us left all there trash there in the fire pit and I refused to clean it. There was only 1 activities for kids. Not much to do there. The pool is small. You can smell sewer.
Lisa and Dan were AMAZING. Our cabin was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly private with a well designed lot. The campground was clean and quiet, and the good times were plentiful all around. A rustic setting, clean bathhouse, pool, hot tubs, so close to the ocean, even CLOSER to Sebaco Lake. AFFORDABLE and friendly service. What a catch. We WILL be back and we will bring friends!
We enjoyed this little family run campground immensely with our children ages 1-11 the pool was clean, there were two adult only hot tubs which was awesome and a cute little bubbling portion of the pool that kids were allowed in and they of course thought that was cool. Nice little playground, fishing pond and we spent one day in Portland and before heading home we drove 45 mins to the Saco River for a day of tubing with everyone!
I am in my 20th year as a seasonal. Great small community campground. He perfect owners.
We are in our seventh year as seasonal campers and couldnt be happier. Everything is clean and well maintained. The owners truly care about their guests experience. Something that is rare in todays world! Highly recommended for a relaxing weekend.
Was an easy checkin. The office staff was very friendly. Camp sites were extremely close to each other. The site I had was right off the main road (Route 114) to the campground.(lots of traffic). The shower was dirty with a lot of hair. I found it very hard to get into as there is only one indoor shower with many people trying to use the facility. The outdoor pool had a strong odor of urine. On a positive note other campers were very friendly and seem to enjoy the area. The site I stayed at had electric, water, and a picknic table. Thanks for reading.
This was a great experience for me and my grandchildren. We stayed in a cabin the first two nights and camped in tents for 3 nights. The campground is clean and is gated with only passkey access. The owners are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The camp sites are very rustic and wooded with chipmunks, squirrels, and a resident cat. There is a curfew (10PM) so sleeping is not a problem. Prices are good and it is easy access to everything in the Sebago Lake and Portland Area. I will stay here again.
We were up this past weekend for memorial day. We all had a great time. Everything was neat and clean and the management is responsive to any concerns we had. Would definitely go again.
We havent stayed here but we dump our black and grey water here regularly. Cheap rates, friendly atmosphere, and the younger couple that own it are complete sweethearts.
Fun, clean, and great place to gather with the people you care about. Definitely will be returning.
Owners are very biased, as a non-local they were uninterested in any problems we experienced and did nothing to resolve the issue. They were rather rude, and when in the pool with other guests, they dumped humidifier water into it like a sink. The bathrooms werent particularly clean, at one point there was feces on the ground, and smelt horrible. Wouldnt recommend to anyone.
Everything about the camp ground was great but the Wi-Fi sucked it was barely usable other than that I loved the campground
Nice place. Although wifi service was bad
Great family friendly place! Must try
Before new owners bought the place Id give it one star. Although their maintenance person has a bad attitude and I know of at least two families that refuse to camp her again because of him.
Good until my puppy got attacked by other dog who was loose
Relaxing ✅ family friendly ✅ great location ✅ cute town ✅ Hot Tub and nice pool ✅ Spacious quarters and lots ✅For me, the best indicator of superior service is the little things that make such a huge difference. My fiancé and I were engaged when we arrived and we were preparing to get married in town. The park management was extremely helpful during booking, and were very accommodating during our stay. We had a weird water back up issue and they came out promptly to help and fixed the issue. I hate asking for help, but they made it feel like no big deal and looked into the issue with utmost kindness. Also, the wife of one of the managers gifted us with Chardonnay after hearing about our nuptials. We truly were surprised and delighted! Also, the spots are pretty spacious if you’re in a camper or in a tent. Not too far from the beach in Sebago 🌞
Nice, quiet and centered between Naples and Frye Island.
A very nice place to stay nice pool three hot tubs and a spacious game room, but the bathrooms could be a little bigger.
My husband and I booked the adult weekend. We were looking forward to the camping, the comedy show, the pool and hot tub and the little fishing pond. The pool was closed, which was not disclosed, the fishing pond looks like a sewage run off swamp and our rustic cabin, while rustic came with some sort of smell which made it impossible for us to be inside. We did not stay. The pictures on the website make the place look so cute and cozy, unfortunately it was the opposite. Also when we called and informed them we were not staying, we didnt even get a call back. Also the campsite map makes it appear as though Sebago lake is right across the street. It is not. The nearest public beach is in Sebago, this campground is in Standish.
Great family campground! The owners are super nice and the grounds are taken care of.
Quiet, clean, woodsy unspoiled camp. Owners were friendly and very helpful. Would visit again if in the area.
Great place for children and adults. Been here for 14 years and love it
New owners not like it use to be defently needs more activitys like befor
Visited a friend camping. Friendly people. And pet friendly.
Wonderful campground with helpful owners. They make you feel at home.
Lots to do. Lots if amenities. A bit crowded. Very friendly
Owner lady has two facesSomething is wrong with septicAs it smells like feces most of the time
There is no better place to spend a summer
Not great at all. Bathrooms were stinky and dirty. Water on the floor in bathroom. We went to the lodge where there is a bathroom that is clean but there was this guy walking around and didnt feel comfortable leaving kids out while I go to the bathroom. He says he is staff but doubt it. The pool was not being monitored kids were going in hot tub under water in the jucozzi diving and running. Some one will get sick. First and last time there.😤😡😩☹️😐😕
The campground is quite basic in its setup which was ok. The fact that it is located next to such a busy road was what threw us of.
Affordable fun for the whole fame, right on Sebago Lake.
Cons: tent camping area is right near the highway and campsites are right next to each other. Wi-Fi internet at lodge building was painfully slow.Pros: swimming pool had a couple hot tubs to ease sore muscles.
We love this campground. 4.5 stars!
Would not go there the owner is vary rude
