After making a huge mistake and ordering lumber from a local big box store and taking weeks to get some of our original order we called YBC in State College. They were able to fill the remaining items that we needed and have them delivered to our house within 28 hours from placing the order. The staff was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. One of the items we needed was out of stock and unlike the big box store which simply cancels your order without telling you they offered us the next length up. That may not seem like a big thing but after 2.5 weeks of getting screwed around it felt amazing. It was really nice to deal with a company that actually cares and has employees that are capable of doing there jobs. Please consider shopping with this company. They are locally owned and have earned my respect and future business.

The folks at YBC helped me with placing the order (for a pretty good sized deck project) on Friday. Delivered Monday morning before 9AM. Gary at YBC was awesome, and the driver (I feel horrible but I cant remember his name) was super friendly and helpful. First time ordering materials from YBC, and I will definitely return. They have a large selection, but are also out of certain things because of the Covid interruption.

I wandered in here because they have a huge slab of granite with a promo sign on it. Im getting ready to remodel two bathrooms and a kitchen so Im in the market. When I finally found help after wandering past the kitchen ladies twice, they could be bothered. When I inquired about specs and costs the woman wanted to argue with me. I told her I was looking for a small piece for a bathroom. When she decided to fight with me I didnt mention the other big projects.She was very rude and condescending and I will never go back to this business for anything. There is too much competition in town to be abused by the kitchen ladies at YBC.

We have been customers of Your Building Centers for over 20 years. I do a lot of DIY, sometimes more successful than other times. Mostly, I use YBC contractors to do the work in collaboration with their fine staff helping us pick out what we want for our remodeling. My wife jokes that we have basically remodeled every room in our house, sometimes more than once. New kitchen, bath, addition, etc. We have always found that YBC has the best quality products for the money. Our next adventure is to replace our entryway and a broken picture window and we are using YBCs installation services for that and we are pretty excited about it!
