The cookies are amazing and the late hours makes this the ideal place to stop by if you have a late night sweet tooth. That said the attitudes of the staff are down right rude. I’ve been here several times served by several different people and they all were very curt when speaking to me about running out of inventory, questions about hours etc. I would not recommend going to this store in person.

The open sign was on, worker inside sitting, and was there within the correct hours but the door was locked and they wouldn’t serve me . weird . drove 45 min for nothing

When I entered insomnia cookies the employee, I think I heard someone call him Nathan, was busy eating fast food at the front of the store. After I stood by the register for a minute he wrapped a t shirt around his head as a “mask” and finally served me…. without washing his hands. Disgusting place!

I put in an order 3 weeks ahead of time for a Valentines day cookie heart for my coworkers because I knew they were going to be busy, but after 4 hours of waiting and we were closing, I just canceled the order. So as long as you dont order anything or have anything delivered and pick it up from the store its really good. I feel bad for the guy working there because hes always there and the cookies are good if you pick them up there but if I place an order 3 weeks ahead of time. thats just bad customer service.

The cookies are — if not the best — one of the best ones in State College. My only issue is that their customer service is really bad.

Not sure who taught you how to run a business. We placed an order over an hour and a half ago and it has yet to be delivered. We called the restaurant and someone answered the phone after 10 minutes waiting on hold and hung up. I will absolutely never suggest anyone orders from here again. I rarely am one to complain but I work in customer service and that is simply not how you treat customers. I shouldve read the reviews before ordering. How absolutely embarrassing for your company.

If I can put none I would, I came in at 12:30-40 ish today at October 1st 2020 I greeted myself one young spoke she was really nice, the heavy set one with lip ring didn’t have a mask on preparing the cookies .. she seem to be very angry she didn’t greet me or anything . Another customer came in the heavy set young lady with lip ring didn’t greet ... she walked by us angry that we were there !!! Trash service they can keep those covid cookies, my hard earned money will be used somewhere else . Me and the other customer both left after waiting and not being greeted and at least saying sorry for the inconvenience!! Don’t eat here they don’t wear mask preparing food !! Nobody have time for that BS.

I went in tonight with my service dog in my arm. Right when I walked in the girl at the front didn’t even greet me and said that my dog can’t be in here. I explained he was my service dog and she did not care. She said she will only serve me if I put him outside. I explained that I legally am allowed to bring him in with me anywhere and that I will not put him on the ground. She then, in the most passive aggressive voice said “OKAY WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE?” And proceeded to make me feel uncomfortable. I was embarrassed and the other workers did not bud in at all. Terrible service and I will never be going here again.

So this was my second time getting cookies from here. The first time I wasn’t really satisfied but this time absolutely flipped my feels. So fresh and delicious. The husband loves them as well. If you’re looking for a sweet treat late at night this is the place to go.

Ordered 18 cookies on a Saturday night around 9:30 and only waited about 15 minutes for them. Delivery guy was friendly, cookies were warm and delicious, and the deal of the day netted me 3 free cookies. All in all, a good deal. Sorta pricey, but when you really want cookies...

Went looking for this place 3 times. Everytime the GPS said we arrived it wasnt there. All 3 times it was the same spot.

It had been 1 hour and the cookies did not arrive. We called them and they say it will be there in 20 mins. Then it didnt arrive in 30 minutes, so we called them again. They said they are not picked up by the driver yet and it will take 30 more minutes and they will give us a free coupon. The coupon is 2 free cookies with min. 6$ order and we are still waiting.

Their cookies are good but the delivery is the absolute worst Ive ever experienced. I called for an update on my delivery about an hour after I placed the order and the woman said the cookies were out for delivery, so I got off the phone and patiently waited. Its now almost 2hrs since I called and I just now received them.Do not get delivery from here.. trust me.

They messed up our order completely and the delivery was an hour and a half late. They claimed they put extra cookies in but there were non. The cookies were the complete wrong flavors and when i called they promised a discount we never got.

This place is like being wrapped in a blanket of pure joy. Warm cookies, delicious ice cream, and service with delivery till 3 AM. Amazing.

They had so many orders and were so overwhelmed that they told a whole line of people that the wait in store would be an hour. They prioritize the online orders and not face to face. It appears to be very poorly staffed for football games and terrible customer service. The cookies are fantastic but if you cant even get them by walking into their store why bother

Fat lady with brown hair and glasses is very rude. Almost like she gets mad if you make an order cause you’re eating her cookies that she was going to eat after her shift. Also, the cookies are mediocre at best. They come out nice, soft, and hot which is good. But also come out very greasy making your fingers look like you just ate a very juicy burger. The taste overall is pretty good. I would recommend the s’mores. But if you see the rude email I just described, be prepared.

Delivery is very slow and service is just okay. One time they took almost two hours in the summer to deliver! Good thing about Insomnia is that they will correct their mistakes, just contact customer service. I highly recommend picking it up in store. Much better experience that way.

Their chocolate chip cookies are delicious, but DO NOT get their milkshakes. Seriously. Delivered all melted, and I ordered rocky road, and it tasted like literally chocolate milk. If you are craving cookies, go for it, but milkshake? think again before you waste your money.

Whatever cookies you can think of, this place has it all. The long open hours and the immense variety gives you all the reasons you need to find excuses tl go here late at night or during the day. The cookies are on the sweeter side but never get too overwhelming on the palatte, but i would personally like them to be slightly less sweet. The texture is of course unmatched, with crunchiness outside and soft gooeyness inside. Definitely worth a try if in the area.

I’ve seen some negative reviews of this place but our experience was good. Cookies arrived early and driver was kind. Cookies themselves were on the greasy side and not the best I’ve had, but you’re most certainly paying for the experience.

I have ordered from Insomnia Cookies three or four times, usually around 6 - 8 pm. Each time the cookies have shown up 10 - 30 minutes later, all warm and gooey and dangerously yummy. Im VERY happy with the service Ive received from the State College store.

Nah, this was very disappointing. We found ourselves with 6 small, greasy, and crunchy cookies.We ordered the cookies, then ordered Dominos about 10 minutes later. The pizza arrived about 20 minutes before the cookies.This was not impressive; we wont be ordering these cookies again. My recommendation: Betty Crocker.

I have now watched my movie and binged YouTube and still nothing... Called Customer Service, who isnt actually located in the store, and they cant actually confirm where my order is other than its on its way nor can they call the store to find out more because nobody will answer the phone because its so busy and imagine how much more upset youd be if they had to keep answering the phone for the same question of where peoples orders are delaying them more.... But dont worry, they are refunding 20% of my order for the inconvenience. 3 hours... For 4 cookies..... That is more than a slight inconvenience. I. Just. Want. To. Go. To. Bed.

Overpriced, ordered the “Deluxe Cookie ala mode”. You would expect a big cookie warm cookie and icecream for $11.83..... instead IT COMES WITH ONE REGULAR SIZED COOKIE AND A SCOOP OF ICE CREAM. Absolute joke and waste of money. The cookie was cold and the icecream was pretty much soup.

Either the only people who review are the few bad instances of delivery, or something, because I have ordered many many times and never had an unreasonable delivery time. I dont even live near the store, almost outside of their delivery range, and they are warm and delicious every time.

Placed an order at 9:45, arrived at 10:50. I ordered a 6 pack of cookies, 2 pints of ice cream, and 1 cookie. Upon delivery, I had maybe 1 and a half scoops of ice cream for each pint and never received the solo cookie. For the overpriced delivery cost, Ill probably never order delivery from them again.
