Only put one star because I had to pick one but this place doesn’t even deserve a star. Never met more incompetent pharmacist. Never answer the phone I literally have never gotten my call answered also they don’t pay attention to you when you go to counter of pharmacy nor do they try to be efficient whatsoever. This place is the worst pharmacy in all 50 states of America. I wish I could explain how actually chromosoneless the pharmacists are.

Doctor put in multiple prescription to be filled quickly because I am suffering with Covid. I spent over 30 minutes on hold and no one picked up the phone. Causing me not to be able to be notified if the meds were ready or would be in the morning.I am tired of waiting in line to be told the meds arent ready or they never received the order from my doctor. This is an everyday happening at this location. People are fed up with their continual delays when they are to be ready. Now I have to suffer another day with Covid because they cannot provide adequate service.

This is the only pharmacy in Statesboro that takes my insurance.... every time I have had to go get prescriptions it is HELL. I have had 2 back to back surgeries and new medications that keep being sent to them and every time they drag and drag and drag out the prescriptions telling you 45 minutes each time you check back. Its super ridiculous. Its hard for me to be out right now and this place just needs some serious help in the pharmacy. Its horrible.

Im the only person in line and its slow right now. Asked how long it would take, even though its supposed to be ready, and they said an hour. I said I needed it within 20 minutes and they would try. I went inside to wait for it to be filled and it was ready in 10 minutes because they saw me waiting. That was nice, except they filled the wrong prescription and used my old insurance, which isnt valid anymore? But what aggravates me is that the employees are gossiping and complaining about their jobs. Saying whenever I get a call I just immediately go UGH why are you calling?? I understand working in customer service is hard but I thought it was unprofessional that they were complaining so much in front of customers. There was one employee though that didnt complain and was very accommodating. You never know who youre gonna get when you go to the pharmacy. Some pharmacists are better than others. Been going here for a few years and Ive always been patient with how slow things are here. But now that I realize its slow because they are gossiping, it really frustrates me.

I hate leaving these kinds of reviews but this CVS deserves it. The only thing longer than their receipts is their wait times. I waited 42 min in line and there was only 2 people infront of me. I could see the pharmacists just standing around in the back taking and doing nothing. Honestly who ever their manger is clearly needs to be fired and is too incompetent so run a simple CVS.

I never leave reviews but my lord does this cvs deserve a bad one. I had my prescription sent here and went a few hours later to pick it up. They told me it was out of stock and I could get it the next morning. I was aggravated because no one let me know they were out of stock they could have at least called or something to let me know that. Then I come in the next morning and they tell me it won’t be in until 2. So I call at three to ask in my prescription is ready and the woman tells me it will be in 30 minutes. it is currently 4:50 and I am sitting in the parking lot because they told me once again it would be ready in 30 minutes. I now have had to miss two days of work that I wouldn’t have had to miss if I had gotten my antibiotics when I was suppose to. I would also like to add this is the second time this has happened to me here. lesson learned I will be using Walgreens from now on(:

So far, sitting in the drive-thru for 15 minutes behind a single car with no activity. Other drivers have given up and pulled away. For a few months, the second lane (identified as for prescription services) has been closed off. Drivers are advised to go inside or go to lane 1. Lane 1 is designated for COVID testing. This is not a good system. Having stated all this, the pharmacy personnel are great! Very professional and courteous. Very busy! Finally finished. Almost 20 minutes.

Going inside is mostly fine, but never expect to get any type of phone call answered ever. When you go in in person, you can hear the phone ringing for the pharmacy and they hardly ever pick it up. Had an extremely urgent medication that needed to be refilled. Filed for a refill a week prior to needing it. After 5 days they still didn’t have it. I had to call them a total of 4 times (each time waiting on hold for over SIXTY MINUTES) only for them to say “sorry.. the pharmacist forgot to fill your medicine”Forgot? How can a pharmacy “forget” to fill someone’s medication after 4 reminder calls and a doctor calling them. Then after they apologized for forgetting, they didn’t fill it for another 6 hours. I called again and they forgot AGAIN. They finally got it after I wouldn’t let it go, and I got the medication, 8 days late. The few days before I got to pick it up were very rough as the medication was urgent. Definitely switching pharmacies.

Second It’s been 4 days since I dropped off my prescription for a simple face wash. Judging by the other reviews, it looks as if I should have checked this place out online before going. My objective for going there was simple: get a flu shot. I didnt wait long but was completely visible to the pharmacist who told the lady beside me Ill be with you in moment, maam while ignoring me entirely (Ill let you guess the race of that woman). The pharmacy assistant later came by and asked what I wanted. When I said a flu shot, the pharmacist (who was otherwise doing acting good job acting oblivious to my presence) said sternly, We dont have any. No attempt at mentioning when they would come in stock. The pharmacy assistant added, in a somewhat apologetic tone, We just get them randomly. Randomly. Got it.A flu shot is too interchangeable of a service (and the number of pharmacies in Statesboro too plentiful) to confine yourself to the services of a single pharmacy. If youre looking for a human experience, look elsewhere. This particular pharmacist seems to be angrily counting down the days to retirement (to everyones benefit).

My wife went to pick up my first prescription here and after 40 minutes of them finally understanding whatever the cost of my prescription after insurance and/or discount card- she would be purchasing entire script. Made her feel as if she was being talked or treated down to and on. I guess it’s because the type medication I am on. Or did my wife look to poor to afford an out of pocket prescription? Not the first time we’ve felt we’ve been treated as lowlifes from pharmacies. All because of a medication thats honestly saved my life!? They’ve never dealt with us before so doesnt take a genius to figure it out! Truth be told it is none of their business. They provide a service and should do so in non biased manner. She picked me up from work balling her eyes out. Way to go Agnus? That right? Anyways. I was willing to let the bad review go until yesterday. Like I mentioned before my wife didn’t care the price, just wanted fill it regardless of insurance because my wife knew I have top-of-the-line med insurance and even if they didn’t have it in the system, we could prove coverage in a few days and get reimbursed. Done. It. A Million. TIMES! Long story short, if they can slack and get by on customer service minimum-they will. I do not recommend anyone on any MAT treatment, hormone replacement, needing morning after pills, etc. You will be judged and treated differently to the point of it being obvious. Not to mention, it took an hour to get a prescription filled. Check reviews, check reviews! I could’ve saved us this aggravation if I’d done so also.

I just visited CVS, and had a horrible experience. I went in simply to buy some over the counter medicine, and I stood up front waiting to check out for at least 5 minutes, while a female cashier was trying to get her manager to ring her up for discontinued nail polish at a certain price. It took me longer to wait than it did for me to actually pick up the medicine. They both saw me waiting to check out and seemed indifferent. I finally went to the pharmacy section to check out. Doesn’t seem like a good look for employees to try buying stuff and negotiating a price while potentially on the clock, especially when customers are around.

The pharmacists sit starting at computer screens, and the techs are running back and forth trying to handle every thing!I avoid the drive-thru because there are always 5+ cars in it, and forget trying to use the second lane, our second lane is closed please pull back around and enter the first lane. If you dont want to wait for 20+ minutes outside, you go inside and see a line of people, and it still takes 20+ minutes.Their CVS texts alerts are also always inaccurate. Your prescription is ready., Oh sorry for some reason it didnt get filled, give us 20 minutes and well have it ready. Your prescription is out of refills, do you want us to contact your doctor?, forget that, they never call. In fact I got the refill message and then the ready message only to be told Were sorry your prescription is out of refills, do you want us to call your doctor? at the window. And if you go inside, theres a line of furious customers who were in the same situation, and I watched person after person switching to that line after already waiting.Someone really needs to contact CVS corporate. When i spoke with the tech, she said my med was not ready and was not processed yet. She asked me if i wanted to wait for it and i asked her how long it would take. She said 14min. I waited for 30min until my med was ready. Its so aggravating when this happens. This isnt the 1st time. This CVS Pharmacy is the worst I have ever experienced. While staying here to help my daughter after an emergency surgery, I went to fill a pain prescription on the day she was discharged. The pharmacist said the script was not signed by the Dr., only printed, and refused to fill. We had to go back to the hospital where the Dr. and the nurse verified it was signed and printed, but to avoid further complications, they had us drive to the Dr.s office to get a new written script, which I returned to the pharmacy with and explained the error made by them and asked if the script could be expedited as my daughter was past due for pain med, which they refused and said it would be an hour. I asked again and was told no. I returned in an hour and 15 minutes and it still was not ready. This pharmacy obviously has no management, no customer service and definitely no consideration for their customers. This reflects on CVS Pharmacies every where. The head female pharmacy tech was the rudest person I have ever encountered. I was called and said my prescription was ready. Two days before I was going to run out. This was right when Statesboro was being evacuated for the hurricane, so I was trying to get my meds and head north. i get the meds, and I open the bag at the counter and it was the wrong brand of medication. With certain medications this is a huge deal. I explained the error and they said they no longer carried my brand. It was in my chart that I could only have this particular brand and I asked why they hadnt ordered it. They had no answer. I had them phone every CVS within a 60 mile radius to see if I could get what I needed. TWO HOURS later, nothing. The pharmacy tech has been rolling her eyes saying they didnt have time for this, and then begins SCREAMING at the manager about how no one ever helps her (he came back there to help) and I ended up having to call corporate CVS to report her. In the end, I didnt get my medication and had to drive 4 HOURS to get it the next day. There was NO REASON they could not have called me to say they didnt have it and couldnt get it in time for me to leave town. The only reason I return is because it is one of the few places that take my insurance. I hate the pharmacy tech and I only pray she isnt there every time Im forced to go back.UPDATE: Am switching pharmacies. This place consistently tries to give me the wrong medication and I finally snapped. My doctor called and laid into them about how important it is to not mess around with medication and then after them saying they would reorder it, I come to pick it up again only to be met with the same brand. They do this to make a bigger profit. Im told theyll have to make an order to get what I need and wait another 2-3 days. Not acceptable. I need this medication TO LIVE. My mom calls and chews out this SAME PHARMACIST WHO IS STILL WORKING THERE FOR SOME REASON and MAGICALLY the correct medication appeared on the shelf?? UNACCEPTABLE. Corporate will be hearing about this same CVS yet again. HELLLOOO WALGREENS!
