Can be an pretty decent company if the owner Adam Waters whos old fashioned with a hint of those old southern ways hurry & retired and let the sons Ross & Ryan officially take over because there is a turnover rate at this company thats souring drastically. They can not keep employees so be advised if you are trying to find employment there you will and I repeat be fired for any little mistake. Upon a interview you are told the ins and outs of the company and once you are on the inside its a totally different ball game. You are not thoroughly trained and your mental will be tested by the owner thatll make you quit or youll definitely be fired.Trust me Ive seen so many go. After almost 4 months I finally got my leverage back and quit this company because I am not a slave or to be disrespected like I have a few times. Im human and thats how you are pretty much treated If they dont like you. Pretty much with all the other employees that came and went and there a lot. You cant have a breather just for a second or 2 because this company is ranned the old southern way or you will be confronted about it and the list goes on. So do not work for this company. Youll endure mood swings and this list goes on. The owner once told someone while on a job that I was his puppy and thats something that Ill never forget. Best decision that Ive made was quit and close this chapter in life and never look back and I feel so much better so if anyone out there that is reading this please do not work for Statesboro Transfer & Storage theyve lost a ton of employees over the course of 3 months and many many more before I got there because of how they treated people and the same people will tell you the exact same thing and this is a guy hailing from Orlando Florida. First off I have done several moves due to being in the military. This company is by far the best crew I have had conduct a move. They were all extremely professional, reliable, and experienced! Made my move very seamless. Would highly recommend this company!!!

Do not use Statesboro Transfer and Storage! Due to Covid, the manager had me take pictures of the house to use to estimate our move. I emailed all the pictures from our house. When I received the estimate I asked if I could FaceTime walk him through the house just to be sure. He said not to worry, he was confident in his estimate. Moving day came on a Friday and they started loading and said it would require 2k more and they could not deliver until Monday. I’m a nurse and have been working extra to pay for this move but I did not budget that much. My husband is a veteran. We are very disappointed and would not recommend this company.

They drastically underestimated the price and weight they were to move, and they knocked a hole in our wall and didn’t tell me about it. This was a total nightmare.

These people are wonderful. I had ordered a greenhouse from a vendor in Texas and the shipper hired by the vendor refused to deliver the greenhouse as contracted for. We called around to a number of alternative companies and only Statesboro Transfer & Storage (STS) agreed to help us. Once the original shipper finally got them the crate, STS promptly got it over to me and very carefully unloaded the contents of the crate (e.g., glass panels). The men were professional and courteous. I am very grateful to this company for helping me out of this jam and will absolutely use them in the future when needed.

We just completed a massive efficient move in state. Professional, courteous, and on time with our 30 years of accumulated household goods and multiple generations of family furniture. Best move we have had since the same company moved us in town over 20 years ago. I highly recommend them.

Couldnt be happier! The military messed up big time and didnt book any movers for our scheduled date. Statesboro Transfer & Storage saved the day. They were able to pack and store my daughters home last minute just in time for renters to move in. The young men were very polite, worked hard and checked with me before leaving to make sure I was satisfied.I would highly recommend them.

The BEST moving company! The packers were courteous, professional and hard -working, and the movers took great care in transporting and delivering our stuff. They even hand-carried my wedding dress in the cab of the truck; now thats attention to detail! I will definitely be using STS for all of our future moves!

I really think this company needs a serious intervention. First off a box labeled decor I should not find shoes, books, DVDs. What I should have found in said box (which was in a box labeled books ) was my kitchen decor. I am in the process of unpacking and I wonder what this company requires to hire someone for them. Perhaps 4 out of 6 senses to work and everything else is whatever? The day they came to pack us they were 4 hours late, did not do as the original person had told us. Which was to pack so wed fee comfortable. If I wanted to I could look in every box and dictate where things went. Clearly that was not afforded to me, as things are coming out of these boxes from several different locations. I asked themTo pack my glass pieces in the boxes they came in, pack my kitchen aid in the kitchen aid box. Ya, sure no problem! Clearly Ryan wanted to get home and not pack properly..we were told theyd leave extra boxes since they didnt finish packing. Our things went in empty diaper boxes cause no boxes were left. I called them the day of pick up and asked them to come fix the packing mess they made. They said no, surprise surprise. If I can do any one the service not hiring them I hope this review helps you decide to go in that direction. Army family screwed by 3 fat dudes and a college student.

Shipment was picked up on time and delivered on time by the same crew at the date and time requested. During packing more valuable serialized items were specifically labeled on boxes with name and number. Since the same team loaded and unloaded they remembered where most items were arranged inside rooms without guidance. They also unassembled and reassembled large items correctly and in the locations and orientations requested. Best of all our boxes remained locked and stored on the original truck avoiding the necessity for extra movement to and from a warehouse.

I have moved overseas 15 times now and Statesboro T&S provided the best service and the least damage of any of the movers we have used. I would recommend this company without qualification, to anyone. My companies hired a different company, for my current move and we had a number of problems. How I wish my recommendation had been taken.

We (Renasant Bank) hired Statesboro Transfer & Storage to move both of our Statesboro locations. They were willing to work around our business hours and did a great job with their work. Would recommend to anyone.

I am going to have to be in my apartment for 3 weeks with none of my furniture or my kids toys. I dont know how they expect people to go that long with out their stuff. I know they cant be busy every work day for 3 weeks.

Throw your valuables, not on time, not very coordinated, not very trained, to high of cost, ill move my own stuff, uhaul or just another moving company is recommended highly! Spend your money on another company that wont break your furniture then have an attitude about it.

These guys HUSTLED. They knocked out our entire house in under 4 hours. Well worth hiring.
