Wish they had more of a selection but great shoes.

As someone who frequents Hibbits in NC and FL this is my one and only bad experience! I ask for a pair of size 12 Jordan’s which they had one left. One shoe in the box and other on the floor. She was getting them for me at her coworker stopped her and grabbed the shoes and then said they didn’t have any. This was right in front of my wife and myself who had just traveled from Mooresville to get them. I didn’t realize Hibbits allows their employees to turn down customers because they decided they wanted them for themselves more. Same gentleman was cussing up a storm when we first got there. I couldn’t tell you how many thousands a year I spend with Hibbits but that stops here. I filed a complaint and the district manager is going to pull the incident up on tape and give me a call back. This call I would hope makes up for what just happened. These shoes were for a wedding tomorrow and bought whole outfit to match let alone travel 30 minutes out of my way for some greedy resale worker to screw me out of them. I’ve always used Hibbits as I really like their store and have nothing but great experiences with their employees. Many in FL know me by name and what I’m there for. The Hibbits in Sttesville needs an overhaul! The female working was great and she told him right in front of us that he can’t do that and he proceeded to do it anyways. I doubt this situation happens again after the district manager goes and brings up the cameras as he is going to do and then call me and make this right. As for the worker that did this. Get a second job! You buying up all the Jordan’s and selling them for double the price. I’m ok with resale but when your a worker and have unlimited access to these and you go and scre over a loyal customer do to your greed that’s just wrong. Oh well I found a pair at Finish line and saved $25 I can’t wait for me 2nd pair after the district manager sees what happened. I will not be back to Hibbits!

Felt like they didn’t really want me in there but then again that’s what I get for coming to the segregated south, oh well selection was weak anyway, should’ve just drove by.
