Awesome experience, arrived looking for a certain sized door, that big box stores dont carry in stock. Friendly staff, explained that they could make the door that would fit our opening. And still less than the big box store. If youre in the need for doors or windows, go by and talk with someone, you wont be disappointed.

I ordered a door April 2021. I was told 10-12 week lead time, I expected it due to COVID. 13 weeks our doors came in, beautiful. Unfortunately, they ordered the wrong size door jams. They couldn’t give us an answer to when the wood would be in. Finally, after weeks of calling and giving us the run around, they tell us they would have the door ready and delivered by 9/8/2021. I called today (9/8) doors ready! But they can’t deliver it until tomorrow. This has been THE WORST customer service! I asked for any compensation for their mistake, NOTHING! Oh but they didn’t charge us for the $350 mistake they made, umm thanks?! Here’s the issue, they require 100% paid before they will order a door. They have no reason to hurry or try to make it right because they have already gotten their money. That’s all they care about, money! I will never buy anything from them.Thanks for the reply— now let’s tell the truth! You offered me a refund 18 weeks into this ordeal after I brought up compensation. You only offered to help me with another door AFTER I mentioned it to you. And obviously we never agreed upon what that would be because you needed to talk to your husband to confirm. I told you if we canceled the order we would have to start this process over and it would take even longer. You knew a refund wasn’t possible because we were waiting on the door so we could continue with our building process. So that was a slap in the face! We DID agreed upon a date to be delivered but you had scheduled another install only 2 weeks prior. Even though you knew you made the mistake 5 weeks prior to the expected delivery date. I stayed calm for 17 weeks while your mistake cost us $$ but when you couldn’t deliver our door after it was rebuilt, that was the last straw. As far as buying another door from you at a “discount”, I wouldn’t give you another dollar. Lesson learned—never pay 100% down on something because they have no care for when you actually get the product.Also- I looked in BBB, no wonder why your rating is so low.

Cory and Shannon are great people who offer superior quality windows and doors at reasonable prices. I’m a local contractor (Mayo’s Custom Interiors) and use them frequently! Replacement and fresh install windows, every door you can imagine as well as a wide variety of trim and molding can be found here. If you are building or renovating, take my word for it and go to Yost!!

These people leaving 1 star reviews have to be crazy! I have been dealing with Yost for almost 20 years and have had nothing but great service. People have to understand that the building industry isnt fast food. If you need windows or doors you cant go wrong with these guys!
