The gentleman that answered the phone said he would lend me his personal power cord for my MS Surface laptop. I thought, *WOW, really? Then he offered to drive it to where I was… and he did! Excellent professional help, saved the day at a fair price

I called Steamboat IT after accidentally dropping my laptop and damaging the power button. My laptop is my business livelihood, so I was in search for someone that could immediately fix it. I was impressed when Moses offered to meet me on a Friday evening. On Saturday morning, he sent me photos of the issue and immediately fixed my laptop. Moses had my laptop up and running in less than 24 hours. Having a background in IT, I was impressed with his services. I would certainly use his services again and not hesitate to refer him to anyone that needs computer repair work.

***Amazing response and customer service 👏 ***Christmas day 2020...not many places open especially of they arent food related. My family really wanted to stay indoors and watch the new Wonder Woman movie today but there was no place open to watch it. The only option was to watch it on my phone or stream it to our hotel room TV BUT we needed a Ctype adapter for our hdmi cable. After searching 7 stores in person I decided to call this place and surprisingly Moses answered!!Not only did he answer but within 1 hour BROUGHT the adapter to our hotel. Hands down the best IT guy in Colorado! Moses went out of his way to help me get a SATA to USB adapter on Super Bowl Sunday when no one else in Steamboat Springs had what I needed or were even open. I can not praise him or his services enough. He literally saved me hours of hardship and stress with media managing a network television show. If I ever have any problems related to data, networking, or computers I will definitely be seeking his help. Outstanding customer service! I’ve never met an IT guy so willing to help out someone with an issue.

I had a cooling fan not working and the laptop would not run due to this issue. Being my business computer this was a problem. Moses did a great job working on my laptop. I thought I needed to buy a new one, but he reviewed my system and recommended a new solid state drive instead. He was very thorough and saved me a bunch of money! My laptop works great - very fast. He took a little longer than I had hoped, but I would definitely call on him again for any computer work.

Moses was super helpful and able to fix my laptop problem over the phone, a problem that another guy in town charged me $70 to fix earlier this year. Moses talked me through it on the phone for 5 minutes for FREE.

Moses was great. Our laptop was damaged over the weekend and we needed the files from it by Monday. He came to our place ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON, picked up the computer and brought a drive with all the files to us first thing on Monday. I had a terrible experience with Steamboat IT when I chose to have them fix my laptop screen. Moses has me order a replacement laptop screen sent to him but bought on my credit card. Moses was not responsive, and when he was, he was unprofessional (over a month of daily texts, excuses and promises to fix my laptop and to give my money back, non of which happened) Not only did I never receive repair services.. he did not refund my 390$ spent on the screen. It’s been about a month and a half and I have yet to see my refund. I have recently gotten the police involved with this matter to hopefully receive my money back.*Also an edit to Moses responseI do not need to defend myself to the type of person I am but none of this is true. I work in the medical field and have great compassion for people. I repeatedly asked Moses for the company information so I could rectify this and get my money back without his help (As he wasn’t doing so) *Only after he dodged my calls, texts and attempts to get my money back, did I go to the police..there was always an excuse why he couldn’t get me my money back (bank issues, money transfers issues, he even told me he was going to pawn personal items to pay me and never did) Thankfully, all it took was one call to the police department and I was able to get my money back!

SteamboatIT was very responisve to my calls and texts. Moses was able to meet me in a Safeway parking lot even admist the global pandemic. He was honest and allowed me to use some of his equipment in order to solve some of my computer issues. When that didnt work, he took my computer to his shop and resolved the issue, which ended up being a simple charging problem. He gave me some cheap options where I could purchase a new one. Because my issue was a minor fix, he didnt charge me for his time, and I left happy knowing that a replacement charger would fix my computer concerns. I would recommend checking out SteamboatIT before looking into more expensive alternatives!

I bought a new laptop and could not get some of my programs working and it would not connect to WIFI. I am not very techy at all. Moses was very patient and helpful and got me up and going on my laptop.

Employed for web cam service which turned out very well. Discussed a project with website and Moses followed up but at that time we were not ready to move forward. We will be contacting him when that project is ready to move forward.
