Nice place, staff is helpful. I never have the right coupon at the right time. If you need a little piece of paper or a code on your phone to get 20% off, I think you should be able to adjust your prices. Keep it simple!

The lady that waited in us was very good. She gave us suggestions on how to save a lot of money. Told her we were getting married and I did special needs crafts with kids and adults but had a budget to stick too and with her help we were able to get everything we needed plus more. We will be back again thanks to her.

I have spent $600+ dollars at Joann in Sterling, IL in the last 2 weeks and it will be the LAST time I step foot in one of your stores. I just drove almost an hour to purchase a cricut easypress that I was told to come back and buy today because they would have a shipment arriving and they would price match it then. So I did that and then the associate tried to tell me they couldn’t price match because it wasn’t in stock at the Walmart in the town but the next town over had it in stock but that wasn’t acceptable. I was looking to purchase 2 easy presses today and instead I left the store with NONE plus I wasted a day off of work, 2 hours of driving and $40 of gas. If I could return everything I’ve purchased from Joann in the last couple weeks I would. Absolutely ridiculous how you treat customers 😡

Absolutely lovely!! I dont exactly look like I belong in a craft store, but Im always helped and treated kindly! Jewel and Diane are absolutely wonderful as are the rest of the employees. I had questions about interfacing, and not only was I shown where it was, they helped me pick out the best fit for the project I was working on. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming. And they are always patient with me with my coupons.

Always treated right whenever I go, staff have been very nice and helpful. Sometimes lines get a little long and sometimes you cant always find a staff member to help you out. Aisles also seem a tad cramped.

While they might not have every crafting item I am needed its sure a lot better than driving all the way to Rockford which used to be my only option but local Wal-Mart or ordering online.

Had a $10.00 store gift certificate for spending $125 a few weeks ago. The register would not let me use a currrent coupon and the $10 one both. I am usually happy with the discounts, not today. The $10 should have been like cash, not a coupon.

I wish they would stop placing their Sale signs the way they do...its very misleading. They put signs advertising sale items where non sale items are located. It makes it seem like those items are on sale when they arent. Which you dont realize until you get to the register to pay. Seems like a dishonest practice trying to deceive the consumer

Not very much going on in the back where the art paper is. As the only arts and crafts store it would be nice to find better grades of paper and not just one size. Mixed media paper at least. Im still using Amazon for a lot of my art supplies but I would rather buy what I can physically touch and feel for myself in-store. (artists. I tell ya.) some blocks of charcoal and better choices for painting would be great! Paint pens w brushes. Un primed canvas. Japanese art tools. Markers for drawing Manga can be used for more than just Manga. A little research is all Im asking. Find the good and get some. Find the best and get a little. Find the cheap and put it in the kids section. We exist. Dont forget about us! 😆
