I was wedding dress shopping and though that since I lived in the same town as Beau Monde it would be easier to just get a dress locally. Boy was I wrong. I went in and found a couple dresses that I liked. I asked to try them on and Heather took the dresses back to the dressing area, hung them up and left me to figure out how to get into the dresses. One that I tried on, loved but it was plain, I wanted beading and such, so she says well for X amount of dollars we could add beading, mind you the dress already cost almost $800. Upset about the service I got I decided to go out of town to Davids Bridal. The 1st dress I tried on there was just like the one at Beau Monde, but it had beautiful beading!!! The ladies at Davids Bridal were there for ME, it was my day of trying on dresses, they helped me get in and out of them as I tried each one on.They showed me different veils, how it would look bustled, etc...I finally tried the first dress on one last time and it was MY dress!! Oh and I only paid $450 for it! I know Beau Monde is a local store for some, but shop around because you can pretty much get any dress that Beau Monde has, for half the price somewhere else!! I only go to Beau Monde for tuxedos now...
