The best customer service in the front of the store and at the pharmacy. The pharmacy has gotten so much better, all the karen’s need to chill
Impossible to get ahold of on the phone! Than they tell me its done and I go there nope not down come back in 30 mins! Go back in 30 mins still not done come back in 30 mins, wait, than come back oh its not in stock!!! They are the most unorganized pharmacy I ever been to!! I will be taking all my meds to walgreens!!
Impossible to get ahold of by phone. Have to go in to get anything done, then wait in line for 20 minutes to even speak with someone. They NEVER have my medicine in stock, and always forget to order it. Once they filled and then immediately put back my prescription before I even got there. The staff are friendly but theyre clearly overworked and understaffed. I contacted corporate to recommend they send some help to this store and even asked for a call back. They took my complaint but never called and clearly, never sent anyone to help out the poor folks working here. I shouldnt have to wait in line for 20 minutes for prenatals with only 1 person ahead of me, in early afternoon on a weekday. Go somewhere else if you can.
I wish I was able to give 0 stars ours cause this is the worst pharmacy Ive ever been to they tell me to wait a 1/2 an hour for my prescription then I wait a 1/2 an hour and I go back through the drive-through and ask them for my prescription and they tell me it will be a 1/2 an hour hour so I waited another half an hour Ill be there half an hour and I go back to get my prescription and they tell me theyre out of itheyre out of it
This is the WORST CVS EVER! They never get my medications refilled on time and last time I went to urgent care for a UTI I waited all day for my prescription and finally had to call the store before they filled the script. I have used CVS when living in OK for many years and just moved here but will be finding a new pharmacy!
I must dispute a review about not getting in touch with this store and long wait times to talk with someone. I was able to contact Alexis at the Steubenville store quickly and did not have to wait. She was cordial and professional while assisting me with my query about Ben and Jerrys Ice Cream in stock. While they had none in stock, I needed some saline solution for my Shih-Tzus mucous-coated eyes. He is old, and we must treat them several times a day.Once at the store, Alexis escorted me to the saline solution, took it to the counter, and checked me out. She was friendly and took excellent care of me during my visit to the store this evening. Thank you, CVS, for having such a dedicated, professional, amazing person in your employ. :)Since I cannot compose multiple reviews on the same store, I add to my previous review. I visited the Steubenville CVS this evening, and Monica assisted me. She had a bubbly personality with a smile and great eye contact. I asked where I could find Voltaren, and she directed me to Aisle 11, where I easily found the product. While there, I noticed they had over-the-counter Diclofenac, which was the generic for Voltaren for over three dollars less. Upon searching my coupons, I had a 40% off coupon for one item. As I checked out with Monica, she noticed that I had multiple discounts available on my CVS Card and said she would try them all if it were okay with me. I said sure, anything to save money. This wonderful employee saved me $11.16 off of a $16 item. Talk about super customer service!!! WOW!!! Monica, you are awesome. I love this store
Months ago when I started using this pharmacy it was great. It has slowly gone down hill. Nothing is ever ready when they say. They have no desire to answer the phone. Wait times on the phone are always 20+ minutes. And wait time at the store is always much longer.Ive had 4 prescriptions in process for about a week and a half. Called today and waited on hold for 30 minutes. I was told 5pm theyd be ready. Currently 530 and Im in the drive through. Prescriptions are not ready and they need at least another 10 minutes. Definitely do not recommend this pharmacy.
It is terrible the wait time at the drive thru window! 40 minutes ridiculous
Terrible costumer service, no communication with their costumers. Do not answer the phones even when a provider or another pharmacy is calling. Will tell you a prescription will be ready and it’s out of stock.
Called in a RX refill 3 weeks ago and went to pick up today 11/11/2020 it was not ready. They said it would be ready in an hour, so I left and came back. It was ready but they lost the RX had to wait another 30 minutes until they found it. Always takes for ever to get a RX its never ready when you go to get them. Staff never cares some are nice. I would not recommend this pharmacy. If you can use another pharmacy, I will be going to another pharmacy when needed.
They never have my medication. Have been late several times. Not a day or two to weeks. Have reported it to the GM, he blew smoke also. Very dissatisfied. Hoping the union votes them out!! UNBELIEVABLE!
Service unbelievable, scripts called in on Tuesday, promised Wednesday. Not ready on Wednesday nor Thursday after waiting in line for 30 minutes. I was told pharmacist working on getting it filled after waiting 2 hours I left . Also people in store not wearing masks. I will be calling corporate headquarters and also my insurance to find other options.
We arrived at our scheduled time to get our covid tests and it took an hour and a half before they even spoke to us. The process is way too slow. CVS does not have the capability to do covid tests efficiently you are better off going somewhere else.
It’s a joke of a pharmacy. And the worst store and staff I have ever experienced. They can never take the blame for their mistakes. It’s always someone else fault if they forget to fill it. I have waited days for a prescription that was important and blamed it on the hospital. I’ve never been to one. Absolutely pathetic
My prescription has been at the pharmacy since 10:45am amd it is now 5:45pm and they still have not filled it and dont care they are so slow and lazy here it seems as if they have no clue what they are doing they told me 5 times 25 minutes come back so I wasted gas coming back and forth it doesnt make sense im very disappointed with CVS they dont even answer the phone so its pointless to call I heard numerous people today say they are switching pharmacies and not coming back. Very disappointing CVS very disappointing I would give minus 5 stars if possible
Apparently answering the phone isnt their thing. Will not use again
CVS needs to build another store in the Steubenville and Weirton area. They have way to many pharmacy customers at one store and they cannot keep up with the demand. People are not getting their meds and their health is suffering from it. Something needs done now! We have CVS CAREMARK INSURANCE and cannot go anywhere else!
CVS is only in it for the money. They buy or take over Healthcare prescription plans from Big corporations and you have to have your prescription filled at a CVS or you get charged buku bucks. But then they dont hire the staff to fill your prescriptions it doesnt make any sense. Well it does to CVS because theyre making tons of money and they dont care how long you have to wait. No one answers the phone. They NEVER HUSSLE. And the older woman with short hair is THE WORST!!! The manager and some of the girls there are pretty great. Or I would never go back. SIKE NEVER GOING BACK Hour and a half wait today Never again. Transfered all my scripts. See ya!!!
Worst pharmacy ever!! Lines inside and out take for ever. There is no sense of urgency, most of the employees are rude and dont even try to call because they dont pick up the phone!
I have always used to CVS in Robinson PA and never had ANY problems. Had to switch to Steubenville due to the pandemic and I have had NOTHING but problems with the CVS in Steubenville. It takes at least 4 days for my prescriptions to be filled once called in by my doctor which is beyond ridiculous. THEN they never put the correct day supply for the prescriptions. My doctor calls me in 30 pills take 1 pill 3 x daily. CVS Steubenville ALWAYS puts it as a 30 day supply so it gets denied when I try to refill it 10 days later because CVS told my insurance company they just filled a 30 day supply for me 10 days ago. I try to call and explain the mix up to CVS and am told there’s nothing they can do and I have to wait the additional 20 days before I can get my meds again even though I AM TAKING THEM AS PRESCRIBED. The workers in the pharmacy need basic math skills and common decency. Because of this pharmacy I have had to miss WEEKS of my prescriptions that I need to take daily. Please do not waste your time with the CVS in Steubenville they do not care about you or your medications. Village pharmacy in Weirton gives me the BEST customer service, prescriptions are filled immediately, and they know how to do common math so everything is accurately reported to my insurance company. It has been such a lifesaver going to a pharmacy with competent employees and I am soo disappointed I wasted so much time/effort/and frustration trying to explain to CVS employees how prescriptions work. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. CVS workers/pharmacists need some serious job training. I have just submitted a complaint to the state board of pharmacies with exact time stamped examples of the unethical behavior of these pharmacists
Nothing is ever ready. Every single time we come here, it’s either it’ll be ready or 2 hours or we wait in line for 45+ minutes when there is almost no traffic. Would most definitely got to rite aide 100+ times over again if the insurance would allow it.
I have a 1 year old with double ear infections. Went to urgent care and they called the script in to CVS. Picked it up, got home and tried to administer the first dose and when I shook it, it was STILL POWDER. They never added the liquid and mixed it. Went back to resolve the issue and the pharmacy was closed. Thanks Steubenville CVS for doing a stellar job. 😡
Multiple times have been called/texted to pick up medication said it was ready get there and the medication is not ready to be picked up. This isn’t the first time in almost every time they call/text and say “your medication is ready to be picked up”. Two days later we go to pick it up and it s NOT READY! Now two days later and it still wasn’t ready! Why text or call saying it’s ready when it’s not and you had two extra days to get it ready! Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional.
The worst drive through pharmacy, they are beyond slow, rude and never have your Rx ready when you get there. Always ask you to come back in 30 minutes. Seriously awful, whoever manages this CVS pharmacy should seriously be ashamed of yourself. Pathetic excuse for a full service drive thru
I asked Emilee if she could call my doctor again to authorize a Rx. She says, “What’s the problem!?” I nicely respond “never mind” because she seemed irritated and she hollers as I pulled away from the pharmacy something like “the problems on the doctors end!” They will tell you how overwhelmed they are when you ask for assistance; It’s recurring. I’ve read case studies on CVS pharmacy interactions in grad school and I thought things have improved lately. The CVS I have gone to in the past is twice as busy it seems and handles things in a nice appropriate manner.
Had to sit in the pharmacy pickup lane for over an hour with my Grandma. This is absolutely ridiculous!
Currently trying to get a photo order I placed. I placed two orders at the same time, picked one up and was told there was no other order. Not a huge deal but I get a call a week later that my SAME DAY order is ready. I call the store back to double check and they tell me theres no order. I ask to speak to a manager and am told there isnt one, they dont know when there will be one and get hung up on. To top this horrible experience off, the order that I actually received says that it is still there pending pickup, as does the one I never got. So Im left wondering if some stranger has photos of my children I never received. The lack of service was DISGUSTING!
Fast the staff are very friendly and helpful..
If you want a good rating, treat me with Respect when Im at your pharmacy counter. Do Not speak down to me. Ill give you 5 stars if all of your pharmacists were as pleasant as their boss.
Very poor experience with Pharmacy. After waiting on hold for nearly 10 minutes, I received an unpleasant greeting. Im new to CVS and asked if they could tell me how much my prescription would be before having it filled. I was told Id need to come in to the store in person, a first for me. I politely responded I couldnt come into the store currently and again asked if it was possible to get the price over the phone. The woman irritatedly informed me theyre very busy and Ill just have to wait if I need it over the phone to which I responded no problem. Several more minutes on hold and I was told Id need to call the number on my Rx Card (also CVS) and that they didnt have time to check into my prescription cost. Needless to say, I will happily continue not being a CVS Pharmacy customer. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. PS - I was able to find out from my insurer that it would have been significantly more expensive (~5x) at CVS than at my usual Pharmacy anyways.
There are plenty of other pharmacies out there. I suggest use any other one but this one. Horrible! Over 6 hours and still no prescription, then they try to blame everyone else except their own incompetence.
They NEVER answer their phone. Take days to fill prescriptions. I dont know whats up with this pharmacy but they are terrible. I cant even get my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy since they never answer the phone!
Hours for a prescription to be filled. Put it in 2 days ago and show and now waiting 3 hours for them to be filled. Update 1 hour later still waiting.
Nothing but a hassle getting prescriptions filled.
This is the most horrible pharmacy that I have ever dealt with in my life,,and to get ahold of someone in the pharmacy, is anywhere from 5-15 minute wait on hold,,,and they sure have their share of rude employees working in the pharmacy,,my husband and I do hate to deal with them,,but we have to go where our insurance is.
The phamacy isnt as helpful all they seem to want to do is hand u the med and take your money.. they had a script for me I said it cost to much so all the tech said was so u dont want it, well they will have to resend the script even if you change your mind. Not let me call and see if the Dr. Will switch your med so I called the Dr. Myself And they wanted the pharmacist to call I then went inside and let her know the Dr. Would like her to call she did not seem happy talking about well itll be a while there is a line...I see you and your line your line of one person honey this is what you get paid to do if you dont feel like doing your job call off your there to help people with meds which means talking to people via phone and having patience regardless to the circumstance
Worst experience I have had in awhile. Pharmacist deleted my prescription and then lied about what happened. Took me 5 hours to fix thier mistake and the whole time they were rude and inconsiderate.
Just not sure how many of these type of places we need in a few mile area. Walgreens, Kroger, Walmart, CVS, Right Aid. Yet, none of them will carry the opiate replacement medication Im prescribed, I have to drive hours for that when there are pharmacies on every block. Other than that, they all have huge make up, card, candy and gadget sections.
I have never experienced such terrible customer service until shopping at this CVS. The employees, that I specifically dealt with, were inconsiderate, ill-mannered, rude...pretty much Lacking any type of postive customer service skills, that it disgusts me. If they are uneducated on how to do something, they act like you are the issue. I have only been in there 3 maybe 4 times and each time there was an issue and ended in that type of manner. I was nothing but nice and undeserving of the type of service. If at all possible, steer clear of this cvs.
Interactions with the workers is very helpfulToo understand the meds
Im only saying them a 3 because the people are nice there. But I would not suggest this as a pharmacy to any friends or family. Ive been there at least 5 times when they could only got part of my prescription, or not have them at all and have to wait 3 days for them to get them back in. Ive also overheard many people complaining about the same problem. So apparently they dont have a very good inventory program, or they are to cheap too keep extra meds onsite. Idk. But definitely have caused me several headaches, having to transfer meds to another pharmacy, or having to make 3 different trips for one prescription. Just frustrating
Chain pharmacy. All of them about the same.
Love my CVS... Nice place to shop
It is 8:05 and the manger wont open the doors and he is never pleasant.
Nice people, did not have to wait
Had to wait 3 days for medicine because they dont know how to order it totally unacceptable
Always mess up my prescriptions!
Friendly staff back in the pharmacy, but I very rarely shop the store unless the items I need are on sale since the regular prices are $$
