I do not leave reviews. I don’t like to hurt a business in any way but I feel taken advantage of. I was told by Auto Elite that I basically needed a whole new suspension. I took it to another car repair shop for a second opinion, and they told me I had a loose lug nut and sent me on my way. However, there was still a concerning noise. That being said took it for a THIRD opinion (to my dealership where I bought it, where I would’ve taken it in the first place if they weren’t so hard to get into) and they said nothing was wrong. Nothing seemed dangerous at all. Another technician looked at it as well. At best I need new tires and an alignment. Thanks, but no thanks Auto Elite.

We found Josh when my daughter moved to Stevens Point for college 3 1/2 years ago. She was having trouble with her transmission and we were referred to Auto Elite. Josh went above and beyond. Not only was the work done quickly and correctly, he made sure she had a way to get to work and school. We live 3 hours from Stevens Point so we were unable to help her. Not only did Josh thoroughly explain what was done and what need to be done in the future to her, he also took the time to talk to me over the phone. She has continued to take her car there for different reasons and they are always quick to get the job done at a fair price. So you would think this was the end of my review but wait there is more. Just this past Sunday I was coming home from a trip up north and my check engine light came on and the van started to shake at high speeds. Luckily it happened right by Stevens Points. I went to Auto Elite first thing Monday morning and I was on the road head home by 4pm Monday afternoon. I am so grateful that we found Josh and the crew at Auto Elite. They are always very nice, helpful and just do an outstanding job.

I had a new radiator installed after I hit a raccoon. The mechanic was supposed to inspect my car and make sure to fix any damage that occurred. He completely missed a leak in my power steering line and that my condenser was smashed. The radiator was installed extremely poorly and I had to get that and my condenser and power steering line fixed by a different mechanic who did the job for exponentially less. The services were way overpriced. I was completely ripped off. They do not take “big checks” so make sure you have another way of paying for your services. I was not alerted this until I was there to pick up my vehicle. I would never recommend them or use their services ever again.

I own a lifted suv and wanted to take it to a shop that specialized in lifted vehicles. They helped me replace some suspension components that I needed badly. I had ordered them in May, but due to COVID-19, the shipping was delayed quite a bit. But, it wasnt their fault, and they were very kind when I came in to check up on the shipping status. Once the parts came in, they installed them quickly and the ride quality of my suv is so much nicer. I also have short lugs on one of my wheels and its easy to scratch the wheel when torquing. I didnt notice any addition/new damage on it, when I got it back. I appreciate that they took good care of my vehicle and would take it there again.

Quickly and fairly assessed my junkyard vehicle for repairs. Mechanical work was handled quickly and for a good price. Will deal with again in the future.

Fantastic service, absolutely sound auto shop. I have brought my vehicle in a handful of times, each time with a different issue, and I have had nothing but great results! Honestly, I would 100 percent recommend this business.

Excellent. Very honest which is very important to me when it comes to auto body work. A couple times now they could have squeezed money out of me because I know nothing about cars, but they have been very honest about if my car only needed minimal work. I tell everyone in Point to go to Auto Elite because of their honesty and quality of work.

Alignment fair price, lower than most body shops in a 25 miles radio

Josh and team did a great job on my older car - a 1998 Isuzu trooper with 185,000 miles. First - we had an honest talk about what was wrong - and what we could do to extend the life of the car - and whether it was worth it to do any work at all.We came up with a punch list of items to work on for safety and to keep it going. We also talked about work it may need down the road. His estimate was very fair for the work being done.In the end there were a few small problems after i drove off. Josh took time to fix all of them - at no additional cost to me.Auto Elite did good work, at a fair price. Good advice. They stand by their work. Just a pleasure to work with. The bill was a bit painful - but not bad compared to getting a new car.Disclosure - I got the business card for Auto Elite from Oreilly auto parts. Never heard of them before about a week ago.
