2 years ago Scott assisted me in purchasing a a poll and getting it set up. I had a pool in the past but decades ago and didnt know much about managing the water and chemicals. Each time I reach out to Scott he is able to to assist me with whatever questions I have. There is a closer, less busy place that I could go to for my pool but they dont have the expertise Scoot has on pools/chemicals so I will continue to drive the 45 min to get that service...its worth the extra!

Ordered an expensive pool. The sales associate stated it would be delivered in june. They dropped it off while Noone was home. Everything was delivered except pump. When I contacted the store stated it was backordered and should be in soon. Stating the cost, I would think they would inform a consumer if something was backordered. Associate then said someone signed for it. When I stated Noone was home, associate stated that was not the point. Offered a smaller pump. When I asked if I would get the difference the associate stated they cost exactly the same. 2 months still no pump or communication from them. Once they have your money they are rude and dont care about any customer. Scott,associate, blatantly lies to you and acts like their mess up is somehow your fault. He has no interest in resolving the issue

Ordered a pool in October was told it would be in within 6 months in April we contacted Scott and was told expect by May 1st no pool we again contacted Scott was then told May 14th yet again no pool so we contacted scott again this time it was June 1st and you guessed it no pool after leaving messages on the 2nd with no return phone call me and the wife went down to the store Scott told us he had received a message saying our steel is being designed and we would have it the following week then we received a phone call from a Vicki saying it would be in the week of July 2nd we immediately contacted Scott at this point we have wasted 2weeks of vacation and expressed our disappointment with his company and asked for compensation Scotts response was i only sell pools we would have to contact someone else asked for that persons name and phone number his response was i cant give that information out but Ill email him and hell contact you. Fast forward July 2nd sand is delivered and yep no pool when i again contacted Scott hes now telling us he never gave us dates the pool would come in and has no recollection of having to contact the person he said he would for compensation we have now wasted a years worth of vacation 3 weeks and sand is killing our lawn nobody from the company will call us back worst mistake of our lives was to go with a company that would blatantly lie to customers and put us threw what we have endured I highly recommend going anywhere else.

These people are absolutely fantastic. I walked in the Friday morning of fourth of July weekend. I had just managed to pick up a little 12x30 pool for the kids. I am completely new to pools, maintenance, chemicals... etc. My test strip told me something was wrong with the water, but I had no clue how to fix it. I walked in, expecting that I might not get much help, seeing as I was a first time customer and had not purchased a pool from this store. I figured with it being the craziest pool season of the century, they would likely be very busy and have much higher paying customers than me to prioritize. But, nothing could be farther from the truth. The phone was ringing off the hook when I walked in, and it didnt stop the entire time I was there. But Scott made me feel like the only customer in the entire store. He treated me with complete professional courtesy and quickly told me exactly what I needed to do to get my pool water under control. He found me the proper products I needed and told me how, when and where to use them. He even drew me a step by step diagram. After three days of internet research, frustration and many expensive failed attempts on my part, one trip to The Pool People was all it took. My pool is now perfect and my kiddos are enjoying every minute. With everything in life being so complicated right now, it was so nice to have have someone take 10 minutes out of their day to make one thing in my life a little bit simpler. Thank you so much Pool People. You have a customer for life!

Never received an invoice. Nor should I have.Bottom line- I bought a hot tub from pool people. Leaked while under warranty. Never resolved. Now I’m paying for shipping a tub to Tn where manufacture is located.Anyone wanting a hot tub beware. I bought one. Leaks and more leaks. Sometimes you just get a lemon. I understand this. It’s not making it “right” I have an issue with. Still have same tub that still leaks. Had to contact manufacturer as pool people won’t help me anymore. Still sitting in my yard with no water in it. Sad when you spend that kind of hard working money to purchase something special for my family.

This place is my only go to for all my spa needs! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and I know they will always provide great service. We bought our hot tub here about two years ago and are thrilled with our purchase. Ive also bought a cue stick as a gift, and with their help and recommendation, my boyfriend loved his present. My husband and I purchased a hot tub from The Pool People last year and we absolutely love it! It was our first time buying a hot tub and we did not know where to start. They really listened to our preferences and lifestyle to help us make the best choice for us. We got a great deal and I have to say, this has been one of the best investments in our new home. We use our hot tub regularly and during all seasons...thanks to a cabana cover and curtains to keep the wind, rain and snow out. We visit the store often for supplies and always have a great experience with outstanding service.

We STRONGLY hesitated contacted them after they lied and screwed us over last summer trying to get our hot tub up and running. ( We needed a new control knob and couldn’t locate one online to fit. Asked them to find one, said they would, called back several times over EIGHT weeks only to find out they did nothing, asked no one and didn’t find one for us!!!) But we had no choice as we came to the end of what we could do ourselves. Charged us $215 for a trip charge (he had to come from Wausau of course), diagnostics test and the first hour he was here. Great guy (Mike)— obviously very knowledgeable and nice but at the end of the first hour, he noticed the hot tub screen was showing one of the sensors was not working properly. He said he couldn’t tell which one it was so he just decided to replace both of them. We know the sensors are $27 each as we thought about replacing them earlier. Pool People charged us $59 EACH!!!!! Really!? Then because he caught this JUST before the first hour was up, he was here another 20 minutes to replace our overpriced sensors costing us another $35 because he gets $100/hr. Oh and the real problem at the beginning was a tiny switch was turned up instead of down on the control panel. So for the bargain price of almost $400, our tub is working. I pray to God we never have to call them again. Thinking we will smash the tub in a million pieces before we will put another ounce of trust in customer service with this company. BOO!!!!!

I purchased a diverter from another company. when it arrived I could not take it apart. I brought it to Scott at pool people in Stevens Point and he was able to help me very quickly and efficiently. I appreciate him so much.

The Pool People have great service with excellent staff at the Stevens Point store. I have forgotten the name of the associate that usually assists us but he never forgets us. We purchased a spa over eight years ago so now we only go in once every couple of years for filters but the associate always remembers our names and the type of spa we have. That is excellent customer service. When we bought our spa he helped us to get what would be just right for us, not a hard sell to get something more expensive. Pressure techniques work the opposite on me and I usually will leave. The store representative didnt pressure at all. He talks a lot but he is very knowledgeable without trying to coerce us into an over large more expensive spa. We could get our filters on the internet but it is more important to support a great store!
