They were closed up my arrival. So Ill have to check them out at a later date. From the outside looking in they seem to be very organized. I can imagine its a good place to shop for all your tool equipment needs. I cant wait to see what they actually have there.

Hello,I am a local business owner and I have purchased over 25k in tools and equipment from this store. In the past 2 years, I am so disappointed in the employees. The store is beautiful and has just been upgraded. I know that the Democrats in charge have ruined the working class with the free hand outs, but the corporate leaders needs to focus on a strong leader and change the current management.

The two employees who helped me need a big raise. One was the cashier the other was in sales. Even loading my battery charger in the truck. Best customer service I have had in a long time.

I really enjoyed the new Stihl equipment display. I look forward to having Northern be my go to store for all my chainsaw and 2-cycle needs.

Thank you Connie.The situation: Something broke on my commercial grade vehicle’s hydraulic system. I traditionally started with the so called, commercial vehicle mechanics. Of course, this was just for my own amusement. I already knew the answer I would receive. However, I still delight in watching their facial twitches and convulsions as they tried to figure out what part I need or what they’re doing for that matter. Next, to get serious, I Web-searched hydraulic shops and parts. I found “Northern Tool and Equipment” in Stockbridge, GA., that was only 28 miles away. I called ahead and talked to “Connie,” a sales associate. She told me of their wide selection based on my vague description. I was skeptical and worried that this was going to be at least a 3 store search. On the way, my GPS decided to stick at the last 6 miles as well. I called again and was connected to Connie. Her navigation was spot on as well as her description of the ample parking available per my vehicle size. Arriving, I sought her out and she assisted me in finding the part, “the exact part,” and I learned its proper title. That is: a, ¾” Male Pipe x ¾” Female Pipe Swivel, Hydraulic Adapter. I knew this part was going to be difficult to find. That is, if I went somewhere else. I was wrong in my assumptions and gladly so. The parts were $17 including the new roll of Teflon tape. However, I only left after spending $167.08, because I just had to! But let’s compare the average of $150hr labor and parts markups from the aforementioned diesel geniuses. So, thank you Connie for saving my boss money as well.Northern Tool and its staff gets what it takes to survive as a “brick-n-mortar” in an increasingly online world. If you want to get me and others going through those doors, you better bring your best attitude, knowledge, and work ethic to work. Connie did. And again, thank you Connie.

I posted pics about an experience returned a lifte-time warranty covered tool. I was told they couldnt find my receipt, offered a giftcard they they would use to order the part that would be sent to the store, they then wanted to charge me tax on the return. Manager got frustrated, told me its just $16 and gave me the gift card they already created. Thanks for your time, but I rather not be disrespected when shopping with you all, being polite, and asking that you all honor a warranty. Oh, did I mention that after I asked questions, she admitted they found my receipt. Ill go elsewhere in the future.

Been in the area over 10 years, Never visited or knew of this store that sat a good piece from the main road in a corner. Was wowwed upon entry. So many things to look at. Couldnt stay too long, had wifey with me. lol. Great store. I will be back! by myself. lol

Tried to get a tool repaired. Instead I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Poor management and Poor customer service. Called ahead to have it checked out instead I was turned away.

Great store. Clean. Loads of products and decent prices.However, the blonde girl that brought my (purchased online, there for pick up) drill press up to the register for me to pick up, literally dropped it 2 feet onto the ledge. ? Who does that? Im sure the item is fine, but come on. Attitude problem. And no one batted an eye after she literally just dropped it. 😂

Went in on the Black Friday after the crowd. Many of the items we wanted were gone but the store personnel were very helpful and assisted with looking things up on the register.

Northern used to be the place to go, now prices are way to high. They still have items that hf doesnt, but hf has some quality tools at decent prices.

The website inventory numbers for this particular store are always inaccurate!!!! They show many items in stock, but none of the items are available when you get there to purchase!!! Even placed an order for 2 items for store pick-up today, only to be notified that they are not available!!!!

My experience here was horrible . Called for curbside pick up and woman answer the phone, when I told her that I am at curbside she gave me an attitude, once the man approached my car the man just gave us our stuff. Then walked away the customer service was horrible. I will no longer shop here.

Order online, get there well after Im told its ready. Line is already backed up. They finally get it brought out, then Im told I have to get in the back of the line, 8 people already, just so they can scan a damn ticket to complete the check out. Why order online if it doesnt save time?

Needed repair parts for my 4000 psi pressure washer. Not only does the store not stock a single part (needed an o-ring and oil shaft seal) but the prices they wanted for the 0-ring was nearly $10, and $20 for the oil seal. THEN they would have to order the parts and charge $9 for shipping which would take about 7 business days. I also discovered that the $99 turbo nozzle (which broke) costs about $16 on Amazon and works better.

Good prices and service was excellent. I recommend this place.

When its not broke dont fix it. No reason to go elsewhere when all you need is at northern.

I like coming here to Northern Tool. I would say they below HD cause they do not sell everything(piping, electrical, etc) but right above HF, some of their tool or equipment are a little better quality. You will find some low end things like HF, but they do have clothing here. Overall a good tool store to shop at.

Staff is not very helpful. I came 15 min prior to closing and the lady acted as if I was a bother to be there because they were closing soon. If you want to make a sale, then youll remain open until its time to close and not complain about it. I then asked for help finding what I was looking for since they were closing soon; I needed a new outlet plug for my dryer, and I was informed they dont sell that type of equipment and to look somewhere else, even though I found out about this store by searching for the plug online.

They had weed eaters in stock according to their website but the clerk at the store informed me that they discontinued all brands of weed eaters except Stihl. She did so in a very rude way as well.

I am severely disappointed in the store. I went in to go get a trailer hub that my trailer were stuck on the side of the road was looking for help and all the associates pretended to be busy not very helpful as several people to help but was told they were busy but they would help me when they could one completely ignored me said she was on break. Only one cashier took literally 38 minutes to get through the line. I would rather go to Tractor Supply or Harbor Freight knowing weather this store was going to be like it was. Do not hire people who are not knowledgeable about the store. Male or female. The store really needs to think about getting new employees. This was my first and last visit at the store

Not very good, I have a 25 dollar e gift card and could not figure out how to put it in at checkout. I have an email with a code to put in at checkout but theres no place to put it.

This place is horrible you call they leave you on hold for 15 min at a time. If you are lucky enough to briefly make human contact that is only to transfer to wait yet again on hold at another department. A little customer service would go a long way.
