I just got done and all I can say is they earned my business. Elli, the service manager has been at this location for 15 years. He is professional, honest, knows what hes doing and straight forward with the facts and friendly. I will be taking all my vehicles to him from this point on. They do everything he told me. Save yourself some headaches and go to Smog Tech. You wont feel like you are getting the runaround or taken to the cleaners. Fair price and fast service without an appointment. Dishonest owner/operators... liars... shady... typical stockton trash, closed 2 hours early without notice. Lied over the phone. Do not honor sale prices advertised and false advertising... I will be reporting to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission), Attorney General and Dept of Consumer Affairs... they need to learn their lesson. You cant lie and pull fast one on consumers like this. I just found out they stripped the jam nuts on my tie rods, and that the front toe is was off on my vehicle. the tires I installed less than 5k miles are almost all chewed up on the inside and this was the last place that did the alignment, I have gone to a new place now to get my car aligned

Made appointment and they never showed. Never answered calls or text. Wasted 2 and a half hours of my day and couldnt get my car until Monday. Ruined my entire Sunday off.Had to arrange a ride to work and I commute. This is unacceptable!If something comes up and arises especially if its a personal or family emergency thats completely understandable but you have to answer your phone or texts and let the customer know what is going on.Should have gotten a DISCOUNT!

We went there for smog check and he showed us a form that said pass on it and there was a couple of items texted on the bottom of sheet he said he could run a full diagnostic on it for $90 more and that he would need to keep it overnight. Because he was so busy he wouldn’t be able to get to it until that evening or next morning. We literally left for 5 mins and was told by a relative that they were sketchy so we turned around and went to pick it back up and they were gone in my car. WTH it took them 15 mins to come back I don’t know where they went or what they were up to. But never go there. I won’t go there again.

This guys they didnt pass my smog because my flow intake and when a told them is free retest they said not I have to charge 😤 you again 😤 and I thought ok I just need the parts I have it in my house but not they just rip off 0for double pay

Their smog machine wasnt working and the tech blamed my truck as the problem so I drove around the corner to another smog shop and got my smog certificate!!! Ive had problems with this shop before but thought they should be able to smog my truck without any problems but I was wrong!

WORST PART IS, WHEN I LEFT...MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STARTED SHOWING UP FOR THE FIRST TIME AND MY VEHICLE DID NOT WANT TO START..I UNDERSTAND PAYING FOR THE SERVICE BUT I WAS LIED TO ABOUT THE CHARGE AND NOW I DONT KNOW WHAT THE GUY DID TO MY ENGINE..MY ADVISE IS TO AVOID GOING TO THIS PLACE EVER.

This place is fast and efficient, but on two different occasions after I called to find out how much for smog, they tacked on ten dollars to send the certificate to the state. Knowing this, I specifically asked (when I was bringing my second vehicle there) where theyre ANY other charges and Ali says no just $29.99. Well... They charged me $39.99 again. When I was paying I let the guy at the counter know that this had happened twice and Ali should really tell customers about the ten dollar charge. Its just a good business practice. I recommend this place, but I tell people its ten bucks more than the special price quoted on the phone and to be aware.

Scam! ripped me off. I highly advise no one go here. Im surprised people still do and that there still open. they get you with coupons online and up sell you and try to charge you for stuff that isnt even broke. me and a couple friends are paying and creating ads all online and Facebook and locally to shut them down. we also are reporting them. we already shut down another auto repair place in Sacramento for ripping people off too. cant wait to shut them down.

Went to recharge my freon and was told it would be 200 after seeing it advertised 29.99. I was told my car was hooked up and could not cancel the service. The tech Mark with light blue eyes told us the car had a leak. And would be an additional charge for repair. After waiting and hour and thirty five minutes and asking more than one person the status of my service I asked to have my car removed from the machine. I was then told they had not serviced my car. In the hour that I waited I was told by another patron that she too was advised that she had a leak and would be paying additional fees for repair. I asked for my paper work and left. On my way down the street my car started blowing air like the heater was on. Prior to arriving to this shop my car was decent and cool when using the ac and and wanting to get ahead of the heat I went in for service. I returned to the shop and asked for Mark? And was promptly told hes not employee there. In the same breath Mark appears and tells me about all the services hes provided today and had no issue with. Mark then tells me hes not an employee and only helps out. Well Im paying for a service you did not complete I drive away and my car is worse than when I arrived initially and you have the mind to tell me you are not an employee for a company that I paid to care for my car. You had my keys to my vehicle given to you buy this companvy I entrusted to provide a service they could not complete? I would be careful leaving you car to be serviced at this site.

Had me in and out quick.

Charged me $74.50 even though I had a coupon for $31 just to tell me it didnt pass. A retake would have have just as pricey. At least they told me what was wrong with it without charging me. I came to find out it was two simple fixes and they could have passed it just as easily. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN! I recommend Golden State Smog on California street. Way better service and cheaper. Plus no charge for retake!

I took it to get it smogged and they said my car needing servicing when I had just got it done 2 weeks prior. Nice way to try and rip me off. Would recommend using a more reputable place

This is not a smog shop, it is a scam for your wallet. paid over 200 dollars for services they did not complete or even embark on. This place should be shut down!

Its a small place with not much parking or space to maneuver to park. Very busy because you can get your tags here too. When they have them that is. Weve been here 3 times in a row since January to get card smoged, but they were out of tags each time. Workers arent very friendly, but they are efficient. You can usually get in and out in a half an hour or so even when its busy.

Today I stopped by for smog test,my cousin sent me there because they charge $39.99, asked for the service, the manger comes out to get my signature but did not explained the total amount, so I sign and then a customer before me was complaining that the total amount wasnt the expected, they trick you with the price the manger said that they original price for smog check is $84.99 and I head the coupon for &31.99but they did not exept it, I should have mentioned it at the beginning and did not get the deal, what a bad service, I will not go back to that place and indefinitely dont recommend it to anybody because they should take more time on total amount before making the customer sign any papers.

I called before going in to see how long the wait would be for an oil change I was told there isnt a wait so I Went in for a oil change with a coupon for $29.99 I gave the coupon to the staff and he charged my card $55 without my permission. I only went in there because of the $29.99 coupon I wouldnt have never went in there if I wouldve know I would be getting charged $55 for a BASIC OIL CHANGE !! TERRIBLE Do not Recommend take your money elsewhere !!

DONT GO HERE!! I had a coupon for smogcheck $29.99... since car passed computer test fine. They gave me the excuse that gas cap was bad if I didnt replaced it test was not going to passed. A $5.00 cap turn out $25... BS!...they make you pay it or they will not pass their visual test...theyll charge you more with any excuse. Total $55...

This place charged us $114 for a smog check, even though we had a coupon for $31.99. And then told us it didnt pass, without telling us what the reason was. Then they wanted to charge $71 for a re-test!! This place is a rip off & a joke. Weve came here before with no problems but I dont know what has changed. We will NEVER be coming here again. Very bad.had my truck smoked it had no check engine light. And they said it didnt pass. They found vacuum lines to be repaired. So I fixed it and took it back today Asia guy wanted to charge again 60 so I said no took it to other shop and it past!!!!!! They tried to hustle my money

DO NOT GO HERE! This is a scam shop that will take advantage of you. My car stopped turning on one day so i took it here. They diagnosed the problem saying it was the fuel injector, so i purchased a new one ($160) and brought it to them to change. They told me they would call back once the job was complete. 2 weeks went by and i never recieved a call. So i went in to see what was going on. My car was in the back of the shop covered in cobwebs, it looked like they didnt do anything to it. When i spoke to the guy at the front desk he said there was an additional problem besides my injector. But i told him i just wanted my car back because they never kept in contact with me and they didnt even fix my car. The mechanic told me i wouldnt get my car unless i paid him for his services (diagnosing the car). We argued for awhile and after paying him and getting my car back i realized they never changed my injector. The problem wasnt my fuel injector at all, i was a young 19 year old who didnt know alot about cars and these people took advantage of that. Do yourself a favor and dont go here.

This is the worst experience ever I should of known not to come to this place after all the cars and all people that were there complaining about them having to come back, this guy told me had spent about 800 and his problem was still not fixed, well my problem was I actually went to get my ac fixed paid for diagnostic and they did like two of them and the wait time was about almost 5 hours to tell me they had to get a belt that everything else was working fine. when I left after they out the belt added the free on and all the other stuff the ac was working fine used for two days in those two days I noticed a Boise but I wasnt sure if it was for my Ac or it was my car. Well I didnt think much of it didnt think it was from the AC, then left to Mexico wen I go back to work on my lunch time I noticed the ac wasnt working so I go after work and as they are looking at my truck they said it might be the compressor and that I had to pay after they already had told me nothing else was wrong with it when I left the first time. This fake blue eyed fat wana b Pauly d lol alike interrupted my conversation with the guy that was helping me and was being rude, and had the audacity to ask if I actually like working for free when I clearly spent my money there and had paid for services. Like who ask that when u spent money too bad I dont have the reciept they gave me because they just started adding more things and ended up paying more than wat was told at the beginning of getting my truck serviced. I payed all of that money for someone rude to talk back to u me like that and nothing to be fixed because the AC does no longer work in my car. Mind u I was there with my two kids for a long time and also gone be riding in a truck with no access until I pay for someone else to do the services as they just wanna get people for more money.

I took my truck in there they ran it through the machine the machine said it passed then after that they told me the truck needed to be timed before it would go through although it already said pass on the ticket I went ahead let them set the timing after they set the timing I left the parking lot the truck stalled I went back to the place they had to come back and get my truck to drive it back because the timing they did to it was way off then they put the timing back to where it originally was and did not refund any of my money to me this place will take every time they possibly can from anybody be where I would stay away

Shop up charged $10 because I brought in an SUV. SUV or not, it shouldnt matter because the testing procedure is exactly the same for any kind of car 2000 and up. Also, I ended up failing and not even a discount on a re test. Enviro smog gives you a free retest on failed cars and do it for less. SAVE $, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I am very grateful to the Smog Tech on Airport for working with me and not giving up on my car. After 3 failed smog checks apparently what the issue was was that my intermittent sensor that sits in my intake hose is faulty. If the engine is too cold it wont work right causing the high reading of nox. The guy took time to show me the part and explain in detail what it was doing. In order to pass my smog he had me drive to Manteca to warm up the engine and bring it right back to the shop. Once I did that it passed right away. I will definitly take the time to rate this location on several differnt sites. Thank you so much. You are very knowledgeable and I appreciate your patience.

The workers were grumpy I called the day before made a 9am appointment and when I went in to check on my car around 3pm they had totally forgotten about my car and said they will get started on it right away so I come back at 5:30pm and they said they were closing mind you this is on a Saturday and their closed on Sunday so I had to pick up my car late Monday afternoon
