I noticed they dont have the large selection. Of sweet bread .like they use to . But I still like the place

Love this place people are so kind in this place just bought my molcajete and got some fresh delicious sweet bread so worth having to walk a little extra tonight the bride was so good

This place is definitely like a bodega the owners and the staff know the community and they are awesome I wish that they got way more traffic during the week in the morning but this is perfect for those hole in the wall places to take a date if youre new to the city

La Victoria I aint been in there for a while but my pastor there today see if they had the bread I like but basically didnt have it today so I dont recommend buying cold beverages from there cuz the refrigerators are pruned it the refrigerator system dont work that good so you sold us or whatever is that you buying to drink its not really that cold but the bread the bread is good the foods all right if you like it that kind of food this is the place

OBVIOUSLY I support this place. I live off of it lol everything sold here is made from scratch. The bread is made by three panaderos, the food is prepared by mainly one cocinera and the carnitas are cooked by two carniceros and the tamales are usually by anyone who doesn’t have anything to do haha just kidding but if you have questions on the food or bread I can help just comment here! I love everything here!

La Victoria is bad place, nothing of what it use to be like back in the day. Bad food, bad customer service, carnitas are dry and nasty. The place looks like its dead. Empty pastries shelfs, bread has no flavor and is over priced. I believe the old workers left and ever since that happened this store is run down. I would not recommend this place to anyone. On the other hand La Tapatia on east main street has fresh food and good service. Combination plates are cheap, the only thing is parking is always full but other then that its good. I recommend LA Tapatia

Ive been coming here since I was a child and now I bring my children here. They love all the different varieties of pan dulce . My husband and children love the tortas. The ladies are always nice and friendly.

Great authentic food

My experience was horrible. Wen we first walked in they looked at us like they were judging us by our appearance. My husband is black. So we both felt very uncomfortable. Than they overcharged us. When a few days ago we were charged a different amount from other workers. Today was different workers than last time we came. Then we ordered Cheese on our tamales barely had any. Than we ordered chicken they gave us pork. Than we ordered carnitas and they gave us hard dry pieces. We will never return there again. They lack customer service skills and there food is dry. I recommend finding a different Mexican store where you feel welcomed.

This place is a Stockton staple, my family has been coming here since before I was even born. Everything is good here and the service is also amazing. Probably the best Mexican bread in town.

Best Churros and Pumpkin Empanadas

The food was very good and has a variety of choices also. Also the Margaritas are great! Not to mention the wonderful service Alejandra gave. Ill definitely come back again to try out other dishes that they offer.

My family and I have gone to la Victorias for YEARS and have never had any issues. Unfortunately we will not be returning customers. This has now happened on two separate occasions. Do not order beans, rice, or tamales there. Better yet dont order any of their food. The food I purchased was spoiled. The beans were gross literally sour you could smell it as soon as the lid came off the container and at the bottom of the container my daughter found a thick layer of what looked like black mold, same for the tamales (pork tamales were sour, chicken tamales dry and no flavor and also spoiled) the rice also SPOILED. We couldnt eat the food that was purchased not even our dog wanted it. WASTE OF MONEY! If I could give 0 stars I would have.

Very nice and accommodating people. They sell fresh pork, chicken and cheese tamales daily. You can also find fresh carnitas, real chicharones, pinatas, interesting Mexican statuettes and goods as well as other regular items you might find in a market. Small place but very interesting to browse.
