Love this place. People who are upset with service or what not, just have no patience. I enjoy a conversation with employees and other patrons alike. Best prices I’ve seen by far especially since I drive up from Bay Area. Always make it a point to stop here to stock up before a range trip or whenever I visit family in the area. When I walked in, it took around 15 minutes to have someone assist me with a completly empty store. I was trying to buy bullets for a shot gun, comments were made looks like the gun is in a sleeping bag. Hispanic male finally assisted me and wouldnt sell me bullets without a background check. Specifically asked what ethnicity I was and said I had to wait for a background check to purchase bullets. Mind you, I work for the school district. My badge was on with my picture clearly there ( we have to pass background checks) .

I’m moving 14 days from the day when i placed the order, called in an the staff were happy to help with my stupid decision to order something so close to moving.After 4 phone calls over 7 days, they were always happy to help me with my poor decision making and got the problem solved. Sarah answered the phone the majority of the time and handled the situation better than I could have hoped. Used to come here to purchase firearms. As stated before, the customer service is horrible. Came to pick up my firearm, wanted to purchase some accessories. Unfortunately it wasn’t priced right on the box they wouldn’t honor the price because they’d only be making a small profit and the owner wouldn’t be happy...way to lose lots of future business. Always felt like I had to interrupt the employee conversations to get service.

Rude employees. And employees are not very knowledgeable.I ordered a $1,000 gun and had it sent here. As the paperwork was being performed, the employee was eating a McDonalds BigMac while handing my new gun. He was getting grease all over it.There is an older lady who works there who said Smith & Wesson revolvers dont turn counter-clockwise.

Has good guns prices and ammo prices, but it feels like you arent welcomed into the store. It almost feels like you are bugging them when you try to purchase a weapon there. If they work on their customer service Id definitely make this my go to store for weapons and ammo.Edit: They are now overcharging for guns and ammo go to sportsman outdoors they arent price gouging their weapons.

KW is the best shop in the valley. There staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Even during these stressful times, there staff has always been welcoming. They recently helped me build my first AR every step of the way and always took the time to answer my questions throughly even on the visits I didnt make a purchase. Thank you KW.

Great costumer service. Rushed out here after they posted they have something I really wanted. Unfortunately traffic was bad. I was there at like 6:30 almost closing time. And yet they never disrespected me. I didn’t want to have been there for nothing. Bought something else I saw that I liked. And went my way. Came back after dros wait period and was greeted by daniel who was really awesome. If I ever moved to Stockton this would definitely be my LGS. Would definitely recommend this place 10/10!

Went to multiple gun stores and since the quarantine k&w has had the most variety I’ve seen so far. The staff was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, where in other stores the clerks were very dry and monotone as if they really didn’t want us in their store. I was happy with the customer service and my purchase, and because I had such a great experience each time I’ve gone in there, I look to purchase my future guns from here as well.

The white female that works there is rude. I get that the quarantine has everybody tense but thats not way to conduct yourself at work. I went in to buy a thousand dollar rifle and left without hesitation due to her nasty attitude. I would rather pay more somewhere else with good customer service.

I called ahead hoping to ask a question to see what they had in stock, but no one answered . After calling multiple times I decided to just go in. When I Went to this place they had very poor service. No one greeted or cared if your there. Walked around the store, nothing. They surprisingly like to use profanity a lot even when talking to customers. Very unprofessional people. Hope you guys get caught slipping or mess up on some paperwork.

Poor customer service.Had a 3rd party go into their shop on July 10th to ship a gun to myself located in Michigan. Was not shipped out until a month later.I had called several times for an update and emailed multiple times with no response. I even went the length of reaching out to their Instagram page to receive an update. No response.Eventually I got a hold of someone via phonecall who was apologetic and sent the gun out for delivery after finding out that it had been sitting in their back room for weeks.They may know their guns, but business-wise KWDefense is very unprofessional in their lack of communication/failure to respond.

Never go to this place, theyre not all in the same page. Came to purchase a firearm but said I couldnt because I dont have a Real ID but I also dont have a Federal Limits Apply stamped on the top right corner of my ID but I was still turned away. Contacted ATF to confirm the regulations to purchase a firearm and was told that my ID should still be valid to purchase a firearm without having to provide a second proof of identity and even though its not a real ID. ATF says that I should only be ordered to produce second proof of identity if my ID has Federal Limits Apply stamped on it. I have a valid passport but didnt like the fact that this dealer was making up their own rules

Said they would be open till 7 drove 2 hours to get ammo and was there by 6:50. Doors closed lights off. Not easy to find either looks like a warehouse. Not happy with them not staying open till 7!

Went to this store to check out what they had in stock. They have lots of accessories and ammo but I left because no one wanted to help me. Walked around for at least 10 minutes and was never greeted or asked if I needed help. Wanted to purchase a Kimber but Ill take my business elsewhere.

No pressure to buy and pretty informative staff. Only thing that could be better is that they could acknowledge that youre there or ask if you need help. Sometimes they do and sometimes they dont. Its hit n miss but overall a really nice store

Any questions you got they have the answer and will point you in the right direction. Theyre very calm, polite, and would be happy to pass on their knowledge on any firearm that youre interested in. Stop on by and take a look at their inventory because they have plenty to show and to sell.

Ive been to many gun shops in central California. This one is foremost the best one Ive been to. There really helpful and friendly, give great advice, they know there stuff, and have a real great selection in firearms and accessories. Its a pleasure of doing business and look forward to business with them in the near future.

I was a usual here until I was helped by the owner(heavy guy). I came in looking to purchase a gun but he was rude and unhelpful. This guy was more concerned about another customer across the room instead of helping one right in front of him, me. I know for a fact that he assumed I could not afford the gun. He assumed I was there to touch guns for fun but that was not the case. I brushed him off and waited for another employee to help me. Another employee then helped me( shorter guy) and I appreciated his customer service. He was very helpful and I quickly purchased the gun. I paid and left 10minutes later. I will not step into this store again after my experience that day. I felt really disrespected. I dont know why but it was wrong. Outdoor sportsman and this place both have horrible customer service.... The only reason I came to kw was because it was a small business 5minutes from my house. I wanted to help them but I regret doing so...

Ordered a gun online and was charged again when I picked up the gun in the store! Now they wont respond to my text messages or refund my money. very poor service.

Decided to go in for my first time. Looking at guns to mabye become a first gun owner. These guys were so friendly and really helpful with info about basic handguns and which guns were legal on the california roster. They were so kind and courteous and no matter what i pointed at in the glass cases they always let me take a look at it. Absolutely the definition of professional, these were not pushy or judgemental, would recommend any day.

I gave them a two star only because of Eli. Hes always been helpful to me. Walked in two Saturdays ago trying to build my stripped lower before 2017. Short heavy set guy knew Ive waited behind the counter patiently for about half an hour while he was pacing behind the counter. Made no eye contact with me but he decides to help two guys that came way after me. One guy ended up buying a bb gun, while the other had a bunch of questions. So I decided it was time to head down to Manteca. Which within 10 minutes I was able to get all the parts I needed and spent around $1,300. down there. Guess it was either my appearance or my money just wasnt good here. Dont waste your time here. Just make the dtive down to Manteca.

First of all if I could give ZERO star I would. -0-I come here often, I even purchased three firearms from here, so I took my wife here and there a new guy chubby wubby worker, Rude as F***, the boss knew all he was doing and didnt do SHxt. One thing that really pisses me off is BAD BAD Customer service, Judgemental, DISCRIMINATION, and those are all the crap I got from entering this place. Clean this trash up.
