Thanks again for a wonderful summer season at Dodson’s Marina. We love our seasonal mooring and what’s not to like about the beautiful town of Stonington. The facilities are great and a shout-out goes to the launch drivers who were always there when requested.

Moorings are very expensive for the side to side rock and rolling from rollers coming down the harbor and boat traffic. Very uncomfortable stay. For a better more comfortable overnight stay and more to see and do, I recommend Mystic if possible.

Actually I was at the Dog Watch, a great pub with super service. Its usually busy so go early.

Had a quick haul for a survey. They were very quick, pressure washed and changed the zincs as part of the job. They were very helpful with moving and docking the boat. The launch service was prompt. Later I asked if this boat Im in the process of buying needed any maintenance at all, and they said, no, fine until June. I was basically asking them to take my money and they wouldnt. Dobsons has been maintaining this boat since 2007, and its perfect. The surveyor couldnt find anything wrong. They are organized, helpful, friendly, and honest. Six stars.

Great facilities for boaters

Great full service boatyard and marina. Very professional friendly people with great work ethics. One of the best marinas on the east coast.

After boating for more than 40 years and having owned many different boats, my wife and I have been to just about every boatyard from Florida to Maine. If your boat is of high quality and you can afford to pay for the best possible care and service, there is no finer boatyard on the east coast. The staff has the highest technical skills and the best work ethic we have ever seen. Management is exceptionally responsive and anticipates your every need. Dodsons Boatyard is a first class facility with extensive capabilities in a beautiful harbor. Go visit!

Great place to have a mooring as its an easy walk to Stonington. They are also wonderful to deal with in working on your boat- great team of workers! Highly recommend for any boat work.

We have kept our boat here for years, love the staff, accommodations are wonderful

Place is unorganized and run by kids who know nothing about boating. We reserved our slip in April for a July trip. We were told we would have a slip. Got there and ended up rafted with another boat because, according to the teenager managing, Dodsons has no slips for rent. False advertising... quite a way to ruin a vacation and a 6 hour sail. Place is not interested in having people return and we wont. They had over 12 boats from out yacht club ans everyone was incredibly disappointed... place stinks!

For the sailors, nice moorings and professional launch service crews. Short walk to shops and restaurants in addition to the on-site Dog Watch restaurant and Dog Scoop ice cream/snack bar.
