My family loves this place. I get the best breakfast sandwiches there my kids love there grinders and the pizza is always hot and fresh! Way to go Tony great job!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE HOW MUCH FUN WE ALL HAD! Had a party with about 40 + people.....Tony and Chantel went above and beyond to make the most UNBELIEVABLE pizzas!!!! THE BIG MAC pizza and soupy pizza was a BIG hit!!!!HIGHLY .....HIGHLY......RECOMMEND!!!!

Today we had a bacon pizza delivered.It was the best pizza we have had in an awfully long time.It came hot and quickly.Thumbs-up to the chef and the delivery person for a great job.

I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a roll, salt pepper ketchup... roll was a rock, no salt pepper or ketchup, egg was over easy and spilled all over the place, and I’m confused on what cheese was used... not the traditional yellow American... was more like Queso cheese sauce Or something. Really bizarre. And it took 20 minutes to get my stale incorrect mess of a sandwich. Will be telling the friends to not go here.

Since the change in owners of the Old Mystic Country Store, Papa Tonys Pizza has been our new go to pizza place for feeding our Valenti Ford mechanics, they are friendly and just want to make their customers happy. Great pizza, grinders and desserts. Anyone who likes pizza has to try the King Papa pizza, it is to die for. Pricing is very reasonable.Thank You for staying open during this crazy time.

This place is such an unassuming little gem. The best sandwiches in the area - and the competition for that title is stiff. Home made soups and salads. Order a salad and the owner will grab a washed head of lettuce and chop it up in front of you, then build the rest to your order. Simply top quality and a real commitment to that. Very highly recommended.

Lovely little stop in the Mystic area. Old fashioned sodas, nice selection of Boars Head meats and cheeses for a sandwich or just a bite. Homemade pasta and potato salads. Soft serve and hand dipped ice creams. Lovely shop owners as well! Nice visit!

Excellent service, delicious food, reasonable prices and convenient location!It is funny the things we take for granted... especially the ones about a mile and a half up the road from home.I have pleasantly enjoyed two meals here during the course of the past few days. The first was for lunch. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with chips and a drink. Very tasty! It was so good that I came back for breakfast.For breakfast, a simple sausage, egg and cheese with a Kombucha from the fridge. The sandwich was far from simple... the first thought after my first bite was, Wow! I guess I have been missing out.It has been a long time since I have been here as I usually do not take this route. I can easily say that I will be returning for more.Thank you for your service and hospitality :)

5 weeks ago I stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes and wasnt greeted by the chef who looked right at me and walked away to finish his conversation with the other guy in the kitchen so I left . I promised myself I wouldnt go back . Today I decided Id give it another try. Ordered a small meatball grinder, picked it up and got meatballs with sausage on it, not what I ordered . Id have refused it but was on my lunch hour and couldnt waste time waiting for my order to be correctly made. Im done, its always something with this place.

The grinder that I purchased today may be one of the best Ive ever had. Fresh and delicious!!

The turkey sandwich was great, but the Clam Chowder was not cream base and not what my husband was used to. Friendly staff. Not a lot of selection in the general store part, but they do have the old fashioned soda bottles from the 60s. Cute place. Parking is a bit tricky!

Stop here often on Saturdays for my coffee.. the owner and his I believe niece are super friendly and hospitable. The breakfast egg bagel sandwiches are also delicious 👍

If youre going to serve sandwiches, USE FRESH BREAD. OMG...it was like chewing on leather. Actually, leather would have tasted better. I ordered the large Italian Combo, and even with it soaking in vinegar and oil I couldnt get a bite down on it. I ended up taking out the meat, cheese and the rest of the ingredients and eating it without the bread...only because I was hungry. I travel a lot and Im a visitor to the area. I like to support local businesses when I travel as much as I can rather than throwing money at the big chains. Because of this, I went out of my way and chose this place due to the positive reviews. They failed in the first impression department. And I generally wouldnt give a bad review to the little guy because I know one bad review could cost him his business, so if youre the owner and reading this, please take note: Not a good sandwich. Not worth the 4.5 stars. Not worth the $10. Not worth the trip. I should have went to Subway.

The service here is warm, friendly, and fast. I ordered the reuben sandwich and it was the best one I have ever had! Not the least, the prices are extremely reasonable.

Love it. A good Friend of mine owns its. Love the smell of the pizza when I walk in the door. All his fresh made food is very good.

As a former renter of office space at the Old Mystic General Store (4.5 years), all I can say is the owner of the building is not reasonable at all. I did right by her when I moved out. We left the place real clean. She will not return my security deposit and I am having to take her to court to try and get it back. She comes up with poor excuses to not come to court and drag things out.To those of you looking to rent from her, you can expect the same treatment.

We come for the chicken salad and seafood salad. Best in the area! Also try the bacon chicken avocado sandwich. Great service and great food. Must stop in mystic.

Ive been in about 8 times and never had a bad sandwich. Good portions, boars head deli sandwiches. Thanksgiving is good, capocola is good, roasted beef, chicken salad take your pick. Really good pizza too and big breakfast sandwiches. Family run. If they are open it will be the owners who serve you. Great place to grab lunch on the way to Clydes.

The Thanksgiving grinder is absolutely delicious. It is the real meal deal. OMG it is so good... Manager/Owner Carlton is very friendly. I will definately be back..
