Found this place on the way out of the state and Im so glad we stopped!!! The guys working were incredibly helpful, and the variety of cheese is astounding. I didnt think Id ever spend $100+ on cheeses, but here we are.I highly recommend the truffle cheese. And if youre a fan of strong cheese, the 15 year cheddar cant be beat!

In August 2021, on cross country trip from a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, knew we were driving through Wisconsin so I packed thermal bag w cold icepack on a mission to get some Wisconsin cheese. Along the interstate I seen a lot of places for Cheese. Blessing is, we needed gas, so we ended up in Stoughton, WI. While pumping gas, googled to see a Cheese Store was near. We found Cheesers.It did not disappoint. What an amazing selection and awesome prices. I ended up with blocks & blocks of different flavored & style cheese. Perfect gifts for our siblings and parents when we got home. Each person received a block of Cheese that was perfect for them. Bourbon, Beer, Horseradish, Veggie, Smoked, Bacon and way too many more to name.I adore the town of Stoughton, WI. Great small town and super nice people. The best thing driving cross country is exiting the interstate, seeing & visiting amazing small towns throughout the country.Cheesers in Stoughton, WI is a must place to go for anyone driving through Wisconsin, who wants to experience seeing the true parts of America & pick up delicious cheese, which the state is known for.Highly recommend!!!!!

My wife called Cheesers and asked them to put together a gift for her 102 year old grandmother. Not only did they do that, but Brian offered to personally deliver it to her. He did that and brought along a balloon to celebrate her special day. She was blown away by the gift and the personal touch. Growing up around Amish dairy farms in Lancaster County, PA. my family has had a fondness for good farmers cheese. As we have moved away I have tried to find another comparable level of taste, texture and quality. Our local source stopped shipping, so in my search I found Cheesers. The five stars does not just reflect the success of finding that familiar cheese quality we grew up with (especially for stringy grilled cheese sandwiches) but it also reflects on the service and personality of the business and staff. We are thankful we found Cheesers and you can rest assured you will be too!

Perhaps the highlight of my recent vacation was when my husband and I had the idea of driving through Wisconsin just to add another state to the list, and accidentally discovered Cheesers in the process. I hate to claim Ive been somewhere if all I did was drive through, so my husband suggested we stop at a cheese shop. Cheesers should have been on my list from the beginning. They sell a variety of artisanal and local products, including ciders, spirits, cheeses, mustards, and more! The staff were great. I was afraid they were going to talk to me at one point (browsing with staff members hovering is awkward to me), but when they looked at my face they used common sense and let me browse in peace. Then during check out they were both very nice and answered all my husbands questions. I wish I lived closer. So far all everything we bought has been tasty.

We have visited the park and lake Kegonsa outside Stoughton and wanted to explore for cheese in Stoughton. We found Cheeses and were so impressed with their service and friendliness. Brought home loads of cheese, cheese board, wine and other goodies. We LOVED all of it. My cheese is almost gone but it is a 3 hour drive from Where we live in Illinois. It was so worth the trip and we will go back up with a cooler this time. Going to save up! Cant say enough good things about the store, the two that waited on us with friendly banter and camaraderie. Will definitely go back!

The cheese taste extremely fresh, the service is outstanding, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Im from KY and was coming to their area, emailed ahead, gave them my order, when I would be picking it up, and they had it ready. As a matter of fact I tried some their samples and ended adding to my order. You cant go wrong with this store.

Such a large selection of cheese! Thursdays are when the fresh cheese curds are delivered, so that is my favorite day to stop in. They usually have a sign out front that says Curds Day. They are always letting me sample the cheese so I know what I am getting before I buy. They hand cut the cheese in whatever amount I need, right in front of me. I cant say enough about how nice everyone is at the store and how welcomed I feel each time I stop in or call. AWESOME JOB!!!!

An amazing cheese shop in a perfect little town!!! This shop will not leave you disappointed. From the vast array of very reasonably priced cheese, from your down to earth all the way up to gourmet you will be overwhelmed with options. Lets not leave out the ice cream and the unique Wisconsin gifts you can also pick up in this lovely store. Last but not least, and maybe the most important, the owners are extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well as the staff on hand.

Delicious, fresh cheeses and plenty of variety. They also have other snackies they sell, like spices for making dips and crackers, in case you need to stock up on yummy party snacks. We often walk down for the ice-cream they have in summer.

I stopped in earlier this afternoon on the way back to Illinois after a business trip and I was greeted by a very friendly lady who asked me if I needed help. I said not right now but maybe in a few minutes. So, she let me browse around in peace while she conversed with other patrons. When I was ready, she came back over and politely helped me with all of my requests. I love little mom and pop stores like this because of service and quality. The prices are very reasonable and the fresh curds are out of this world. This will be a regular stop whenever I make it to Wisconsin

Quirky little shop. Went upstairs thinking it was part of the same place but its like a bead shop. Has good ice cream and specialty foods.

This is one of the best shops in Stoughton. Their cheese is amazing! They have a great selection of imported cheeses (Im a big fan of their Norwegian Geitost) and fresh local cheeses. Make sure you try the cheese fudge, too!

Fabulous selection of fine cheese with knowledgeable staff and a great atmosphere. I return for more every week when possible. Im especially partial to the Widmers aged cheddar, smoked gouda,Bella Vitano gold (especially with Rasberry), and Belletoile Brie. Vive le fromage!
