Empire alone and Stoughton has a great staff I feel always welcome when I come there having to go to a pawnshop can be very humbling at times but the staff there always makes me feel comfortable and welcomed truly second family distant cousins LOL

The customer service is the reason why I come back time and time again, I recently came in to inquire about a ipad and ended up purchasing a saxophone at a great price. I have been looking to purchase a saxophone and they happen to have one in great condition. I am looking forward to relearning the saxophone, and eventually getting that iPad when it comes back in stock.

Walked inside of the store with a $3500.00 retail diamond ring. The man at the counter tested it and came back with a jive, saying that the scrap metal value of the gold was only worth only $170.00 and did not at all count the diamonds . This shop is ridiculous. Really only come here if your down on your luck and need a quick buck !

The experience was horrible. Wish I remembered the guys name who helped me because he was very rude and belittling. If your going in for a loan or to sell something its already a tough situation, it shouldnt be compounded by inconsiderate service. Would never recommend this place. Better of driving to Boston or going to Ideal in Brockton!

Horrible. Just out to take advantage of needy people. Brought them some thing brand new unopened with a retail value of 350. They told me their process is to look up what it sold for on eBay used. He acknowledged mine was brand new but said its still used to them. After they get the price of what it sold for used they said they offer 30 percent. Lol such a rip off. Tried offering me 60$ for a brand new 350$ item and then got an attitude when I said no way. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!!

I can’t speak for the owner but the new age hipster that offered me $80 on $520 “retail” worth of used once Dewalt Brushless 20v max tools with 2 5Amp batteries, charger and bag was very rude. When I told him how much more the Worcester store would give me he replied “Well then take it to Worcester”. He even looked up and old 2 tool sale I did at Worcester store and saw that they gave me $80. Those were old and used and worth far less! Never going back except to get my stuff back! These guys feed on the needy. The 1 star is for the fact that I had enough gas money to get through the work day!

The employees are always very friendly & super helpful as much as they can capably be dealing in a business involved w/ dealing w/such a large variety of different items that hold value from precious metals to jewelry & watches, power tools & equipment, electronics & even some appliances, designer hand bags & sunglasses, coins/bullion/currency, celebrity-endorsed & autographed sports memorabilia-all authenticated & verified, musical instruments, art, & more.They always give high fair value on your items when selling & looking to get a loan. Theyve even started a new automated texting system for loan reminders for upcoming payments due, helping you to always be aware of your loan due date so you never miss picking it up/renewing it, whereas elsewhere using older communication devices due & overdue loans can easily be overlooked/missed leading to customers coming in looking to pick up their items, especially jewelry, or looking to renew their loan, only to find that the due date was missed & their jewelry has been sent out with the last lot of unpaid pawn jewelry to be melted down for scrap value or use for shops jewelry repair service.Ive been a customer of theirs for, I believe, the last 5-maybe even up to 7 years. Coming from being a long time customer of Ideal Jewelry & Loan in the center of Brockton for 10+ years, I randomly decided to give Empire Loan a shot, stopping in just to find out what they would give me for a loan on some jewelry pieces I had pawned, off & on, many times at Ideal for many years, (even asking for increases on those loan amounts a few times over the years for both market fluctuation reasons, + just because trust had been built during the long term business relationship-or so I assumed). I was shocked to find their loan value offer was considerably higher than Ideal, & even a few other lenders family members had always used prior such as Del Grecos in Weymouth. Therefore, I spread the word to my mother & a few other fam members. My mother quickly switched over to them as well. She, too, has also been a loyal fan since that same time as well!

Best loan prices, friendly professional staff. Never feel hasstled or taken advantage of.
