We used precision for renovating our complete exterior except the roof - Doors, windows and siding. Tony and Anthony (Dad and son) did a fantastic job from start to finish! Tony was very patient and came out 3 times to my house to give me the quotes as I kept changing the scope of the job! Off all the quotes(at-least 8) we received, Precision gave us a very competitive pricing for a very good product. I was thoroughly impressed by the customer service provided by Anthony who runs the company operations, any question you have he is always there to answer even on the weekends! You cannot go wrong with this company, attached are the pictures of the stunning transformation they did and we cannot be happier! Precision replaced windows in my home and condo. Retrofitting windows is imprecise at best. The quality of the windows recommended was excellent and the crew (exceptionally courteous and hard working) did a good job with a difficult task. Had a full house of siding done. Selecting what I wanted was super easy and my house was able to be scheduled promptly. The installers that came by were very professional and worked crazy fast. The house looks completely transformed from the peeling paint and woodpecker holes I had before. Very happy!

Precision put replacement windows in my dad’s home as well as his two-family rental house. The folks at Precision are very professional, had great products, and the installation was top notch. My dad has contracting experience so he knows a good job when he sees one, and he was very pleased.

What an AWESOME job Anthony and and his crew did! We had them install 4 storm doors because our Greater Swiss Mountain Dog put his paw through 2 of them. I love that they came out to measure each door as part of their estimate. I know this may seem like no big deal but we had contacted 2 other companies for the same job and all they did was come w/o measuring anything and left an unreasonable estimate. Updated 02/03/2020After my previous review the company reached out to me and offered to fix the areas of concern from their previous work. It was nice and very professional of them, especially since I had already paid them and the work was completed. I agreed to allow them to work on my house as long as they sent a different worker than previously. They agreed and sent out two guys to come work on my house. Not only did they show up on time they stayed the full day until the work was done. There was no rescheduling, delays, or excuses this time around.They repairs to the previous work they completed included plugging up all the holes in the deck. They fixed the gaps/miss cuts with my deck using new pieces. They removed the previous caulking which was placed and resealed my windows, caps, and bases on the posts of my deck. They removed the paint from one of my screens and replaced a second screen entirely. The biggest improvement is they resided my house to a color that matches our current siding almost perfectly. The previous siding used was far off from being a match. The extra work took 1 & ½ days, they worked full days, and they worked around my schedule to make sure they were there while I was there.Honestly I wish my experience was this way from the start. The follow up work was handled very professionally and they were courteous with my time. I am happy they came out to fix these problems and it shows signs of good customer service. If my service was like this from the start it would have been 5 stars.OriginalOnly good thing I can say is that the price was fair and they were not pushy. Quality was poor took forever to start & finish. Finished on 12/23 was supposed to be done latest 11/10. Numerous no show/call and delays. Wrong parts ordered and experience was overall poor. They made it sound like it was my fault there was delays and that the quality was this way because it was a low paying job. I would not recommend them

We hired Precision Door and Window because of positive reviews & because they have been in business for 60 yrs. A neighbor has since said he wished he knew we were hiring Precision- he would’ve steered us in a different direction. Another spoke about their shoddy work & the mess they made in her home. Had they posted reviews, we would have paid attention.I’ve never written a negative review. Have had many contractors here over the years. Everyone makes mistakes & missteps, right? Well, we absolutely do not recommend this company for doors, siding or gutters- unless you have a job that allows for loads of random time off to deal with multiple phone calls, re-visits & no shows, & unless you dont really value your home.During this ordeal with Precision, we learned of their reluctance to pull a building permit for our project. We wrongly assumed they would take care of whatever they should do, & we were unaware that the permit needed to be posted on our property. Eventually, & after much discussion, they did pull a permit.It has taken months of patience & then frustration to finally have 4 new doors that work properly. All 4 doors were hung ridiculously. 2 doors had gaps so long & wide that we could clearly see the outside from inside our home. 2 doors scraped the flooring; 1 scraped so badly it took the finish off the floor & the other screeched so much that eventually the rubber runner on the underside started to come off. We were patiently calling for several months, & later, well, not so patiently.They came to repair their doors, yet had to return countless times to get things right. Very disruptive to our work schedules. The last visit took hours & left a royal mess with sawdust in/on furniture, appliances, walls, drapes, etc. That was last week & we’re still cleaning.They ordered & affixed new shutters which were too small for the windows. Once we saw this, they did order proper fitting shutters. However, the screws for the proper shutters had to go into different holes in the siding. This left approx 84 holes in the siding from where the wrong shutters were screwed in. They tried to assure us that since the holes were behind the shutters, it was ok to leave the holes as-is. After months of discussion, including our concerns about infestation, moisture & mold, they did plug the holes with some kind of goop, with no guarantee that the goop will hold.As they removed & replaced the vinyl siding, each evening we picked lots of nails off the driveway. We’ve since picked up hundreds more & shards of debris on the property. We’re still finding them. It’s a concern with mowing.As requested, prior to replacing the siding, they removed an old exterior AC unit from the 2nd level. They sawed off the AC pipe at the exterior end & left the remainder of the pipe extending into our home. We don’t know why they didn’t just remove the pipe. When asked what they did to seal off the pipe from insects, weather & mold, they told us they covered the pipe with wood, house wrap & the new siding. We suspected they were not truthful. So, days later, we asked again. This time they mentioned nothing about wood. Instead, they said they blew hardening foam inside the pipe to seal it. Huh- we then investigated on our own. Well, they did not cover the pipe’s end with wood, or even house wrap. They did not fill the pipe with anything. They simply covered it with vinyl siding. We have photos from inside our home, of the sun shining through the bare siding and into the pipe. Months later, Precision sent someone to fill the remaining piece of pipe with silicone & cover the area with house wrap and again with siding.One new downspout is still not draining properly, despite their attempts to fix it.Dealing with Precision Door and Window, we were too slow in learning not to remain hopeful, not to trust them. We expect them to reply to this public review with apologies & to say our experience is very, very unusual, that they stand by their work & will do whatever it takes to make things right. Ugh.

We called around 3 pm and Christopher came at 4:30 to repair our garage door that wouldnt open. He was able to do a major overhaul on our 30 year old garage door and was done by around 8:30. We were very pleased with the job and the service. Christopher was great!

Ordered a front screen door from Precision Door and Window. They came to measure on 5/22/20. I was told that it would take about 5-6 weeks for the door to come in and be installed. When I called to check on the order I was told that the door was in and would be installed on 7/11/20. Got a call from the company today July 9th that it still wasn’t delivered to them yet and even if it was they only do “small jobs “ on Saturday and because of the predicted rain they wold not be able to do it. The waiting is understandable in these times but I do not appreciate being lied to about the door being in their facility. Cancelled the order today. Never good to lie to the customer.

Needed some siding repairs done. Work was done promptly and at a completely reasonable price and looks great. I also liked the fact that they didnt try to upsell me on unnecessary work. Great company to work with.

Great experience. Staff was very knowledgeable, responsive, and helped me understand anything I had questions with. They made some recommendations on future projects, but didnt push for the extra sales. This made me feel very comfortable with them.Workers did a very good job, with professional finishing. The windows and doors that were installed look great.

This company has the worst customer service out there with staff that lies to protect their own back. The owners Linda and Walt do not return calls. I have 5 in with them. Not customer centric in the least bit. Fins someone else.

I am sure this company probably does great work once it is approved, estimate is good, but, there is a drawback. I just got off the phone with a supervisor because they want both homeowners present just for the estimate since there have been liabilities in the past in terms of consent for the work. It is their policy and if both people who are on the deed are not there, they will not give the estimate. I do not know about anyone else, but I can tell you, I am the head of household and both of us should not have to take a day off just for an estimate. I said that until the policy changes such as using a document to provide consent by all parties, I will not be doing business with them. We are hardworking people and cannot both be present just to hear about the cost. The whole point of an estimate is to compare quote to make the best choice. It is not meant to be a cumbersome process or be a waste of money/loss of wages.
