The new manager Bill is a great guy to work with! My fiance had a flat tire this morning on the way to work, Bill (and the Service Manager Jessica) were kind enough to fit her in and replace all our tires the same day while she was at work so she could get home safely!Great Service!!!!
Staff was very nice.. and that’s about where the good ends. Took my car in because it was pulling to the right so I expected it to be an alignment issue. After waiting forever they told me my front tires were shot which they quite obviously were not let alone the fact they were a couple months old with ~5,000 miles on them. They wanted to charge me $800+ for two front tires and install! They said because they aren’t a common size that’s why they costed so much. I can find those size tires online for $180-$250 each for good ones. Ended up taking my car to another shop and they said I needed an alignment and my tires were fine and had plenty of tread. Can’t help but feel almost scammed from Goodyear. Taken many vehicles here before for various tire services and never had an issue. Won’t be back 👎
Hard to find nitrogen for our tires. Person let me know you can add air if you don’t care about what’s in the tires. It is safe. Very nice. Checked all my tires and filled my low tire.No charge. Great quick service.
I used to go to the Goodyear in the Falls but my favorite person there moved! I only let Jessika work on my car because I know shes efficient, honest and genuinely cares about providing everyone with the best quality of repair and service. Once I found out she moved here to Stow I quickly moved my business here. Goodyear is already fantastic with what they offer but I always recommend wherever Jessika can be found working because even the simplest things I need she provides. Having someone available to explain things and guide me through everything for my poor old car gives me a lot of confidence and sense of security. Im going to be happy to steer friends towards Stow knowing theyll be in the best hands!

Every time Ive gone in, Jess has been incredibly helpful and helped me get the parts I needed to fix up the issues with my car. Ive gone in to get my battery tested before, and the man who tested it gave me advice on what could have gone wrong when the test came back good.As an autozoner, I direct customers who are in need of a bodyshop instead of a parts store to this location. They always do things in a timely manner, and the prices are reasonable. If you need your car checked out, I highly recommend them.
I needed new tires and rear brakes for my 2015 Honda Civic. Leslie helped me and she was terrific. I explained what I wanted and she quickly searched for options. She found great tires that were recently discontinued so they saved me a lot of money. My brake quote was accurate and the staff told me what I DIDN’T need. That’s always a relief. Being a little ignorant about automotive repair, I’m always worried that I’m being ripped off. My experience was the opposite of what I expected. I’d recommend this store to anyone.
Very friendly people, nice environment nice and clean waiting room. My only complaint is I had just installed a brand new rack and Pinion… Tie rod ends etc. and all I needed was an alignment and it took over two hours and there was not many people waiting I’m a mechanic myself so It should have only took in 30 minutes and my quote was 40 minutes if all the parts are new and not rusty… And every single part was under a day old and brand new. So after two hours and 20 minutes of waiting in the waiting room I was returned the keys and overall good people good experience just took way too long
Mike Week was very helpful. I had an appointment for oil change but asked for more things to be inspected according to my cars manual. They accommodated my requests and Mike explained everything in very simple terms that I could understand. Great Service!

Can’t say enough good things about the service here. Had one of my tires repaired and was talking to one of the managers about my daughter’s car. She had just been gifted an older car from her grandparents and the tires were losing air. Went to another local place who just wanted to sell me new tires rather than repairing them. Brought them in and they cleaned and sealed these up and said they had a ton of life left and there was no reason not to repair. I really appreciate honest car places and will absolutely come here for all future tires.

I called about a slow leak in a tire. They said to bring it in and they’ll check it out. Turns out it was a nail in the tread which they removed and plugged the hole. No charge. Happy customer.

As I Was getting read for a trip I realized I had an issue with my trailer tire. I brought it up to the store and Mike was able to take care of my situation quickly. He got n and out in a very short time which allowed me to stay on track. I completely recommend this branch and Manager!

Brought in my mini van that had a slow leak in one of the original tires. They were able to fix it quickly with no charge! I used to purchase tires from other shops in Stow, trying to get the cheapest deal. Goodyear has always provided me with a good price and great service. No reason to go anywhere else.
Have yet to have a negative experience with this store. They have always met our needs, on either of our cars. Fair pricing, good deals on tires, and services. Thanks for being a part of the community especially during the pandemic.
I got new tires and brakes for my car here. They were super friendly, fast, and was very happy with their service. Id definitely come back.
I was very disappointed when I was turned away by the guy who seemed to be the manager, Mike I think his name was. I know I came in closer to close but it wasnt busy and there was no attempt to figure anything out. When I called the following day the young lady who answered went out of her way to rectify what happened and get me taken care of. It was a huge turn around from dealing with the manager the night before! Big thanks to Jessika and Leslie to getting me taken care of and actually seeming to care about being there! Ill be sure to avoid whenever the other manager is there.
Had tires leaking for a while. Called and they got be in the next day. A couple hours after drop off the fixed a valve stem leak and a mounting leak at no cost! Awesome experience. Quick and appreciated masks and Plexi glass dividers up at the counters.
Great service! Went in to get a tire fixed, couldnt be fixed. I told them to put my non Goodyear spare on. Turns out it had a leak also and they fixed it and didnt charge me!
Was taken care of politely by the girl at the front (Jennifer I think?She was service managar) I guess they were short staffed cuz other guy could be hear in the lobby banging and swearing around in the shop only reason I didnt give 5 stars.

First off, what great service! Total professionals. Unlike the other tire and muffler shops in Stow, these guys appear to be truly honest. Im a backyard mechanic that works on my vehicles when i have time. This time i had a flat from a failed tpms valve stem. They were able to squeeze me in without an appointment (i dropped off). They easily couldve lied and said it needed new ( at 1/2 the price of the dealership), but it was a simple fix. I dont own a tire machine, so itd be impossible for me to fix. They offered to put it on my car (i declined) they put it in my trunk for me. Something id expect taking a tire off and repairing was wayyyyy cheaper than expected. Will be back again. Go here. Mr tire closed down for a reason, because goodyear is awesome. The muffler shop down the street had to change names to try to compete. Go here. Midas will try to find something that is wrong that actually isnt, than charge you way over price to fix it. Go here.

I had a 3 pm appointment today for new tires installation, but when I arrived, I was told the computer had me listed at 12 pm., I explained I was sure I scheduled for 3 pm and even added to my Google calendar while I was on the phone scheduling the service. The customer rep said she would work me in to schedule, but after she checked on the computer for about ten minutes, she informed me that they did not have the tires I had ordered there to install . So even if I had been there at 12 pm, which was not the correct time, I still would not have been taken care of because the tires I had ordered were not even verified as in stock. Lousy service.
I cant believe a branded name like Goodyear would do such a poor job on installation job with the purchase of their name brand tires.... The tires were balanced with the weights on the outside of the tire instead of the inside.. (eye sore) also I was missing 3 out of 4 valve stem caps .... And I wish the hell they wouldve told me about my hub bearing being blown out when they did the alignment... now I have 1 tire that only has 1800 miles on it worn unevenly... I would not expect this from such a well known name as goodyear... very upsetting...Update: Im a year late updated this review, but I think its fair to change the 1 star rating to a 4 star ... They do put customer service high on their list as they commented on my review to contact them as I did... They made sure I was a happy customer by the time I was done... New tires and fixed all the shortcuts that were taking place on my installation... Goodyear stands behind their brand name and works with their disgruntled customers fairly to an agreement that changes the disgruntled into a satisfied customer... Ill be going back again for tires and repairs in the future.

I would not recommend because they are dishonest. They told me that I had 3 nails in my tire and it couldnt be repaired. Then tried to sell me a tire. I took my car and went to my regular tire place Saturday and when they showed me my tire it only had one nail in it and it was easily repaired. I would say to other to beware when they say they will repair your tire for free here because its a scam to just sell tires.

My family and I have spent thousands of dollars on tires here, but we wont be anymore. First my wife said the counter guy was rude, the appointment was for 8am and they didnt take the car back till 9 and didnt finish till 10. The real problem is my wife took my car in for a nail in the tire and they said the patch wouldnt hold. So they tried to sell her a new tire, the old tire had 15,000 miles on it. I called her and said no because it was just a roofing nail in between the treads. I took it to the Ford dealer. They didnt want to try to remove the patch and said they didnt want to be liable for messing something up that Goodyear had already messed up. We had to drive to Pennsylvania so I ended up buying a new tire. I took the old tire back to Goodyear to talk to a manager about the bad patch. He told me he didnt have a rim to mount it on, so he couldnt check it. I went to pull a part and bought a $25 rim and took it back. Guess what! The tire was magically not leaking! After he talked to the tech, he said the tech saw a leak and thats why they offered a new tire. Of course there is no way to prove that he wasnt lying to my wife to sell a new tire. Then another guy comes out and tells me that the nail was to close to the sidewall and I shouldnt drive on it anyway. It was between the treads! They obviously didnt think that when they patched it. The manager told me there was nothing he could do to help me. Now Im out $327 for a tire I didnt need, plus the $25 for the rim which doesnt fit my car and driving all over Akron to find the rim. Its a 2019 edge so its impossible to find a matching rim. My father, brother and I all bought a set of tires from them last year. Also my wifes family is a Goodyear family, her grandfather spent 60 years making racecar tires for them. I will make sure no one I know comes to this shop and wastes their money getting lied to to make a sale.
Excellent mechanics but very bad customer service!!! They did not even sign me up in order but later apologized your car was not entered on our system so they made me wait for almost 3 hours.
Took my car for a check engine light. They gave me a list of things wrong, and how just to get the car working would be $3,300. I showed the list to some friends, multiple auto shops, and a dealership. They ALL agreed that more than half of that list was lies. I ended up taking it to a dealership and they fixed everything for $850. I even checked their prices for materials and they were way cheaper. So in conclusion: this Goodyear is either trying to scam you out of money, or they dont know how to do their job. They get 1 start for knowing how to tie their shoes, so congrats, they are smarting than a newborn.
Staff does not care! Took them 2.5 hrs to replace tires! When I called, they said we will call you. Never called! Tried, twice to add more services that I declined.
The customer service here is unparalleled. I got a flat tire and had it towed here because it was the closest service shop, and I am so glad it was!!! I only needed to replace a single tire, and these guys were able to order it and get it there later that day. But thats not all! I had to get to class long before the repair would be done. Hearing my plight, these fantastic people offered to drive me to class 20 minutes away and pick me up when I was done! For free! How incredible! I also conversed with the manager Don for quite a while and he is so nice and fun to talk to! This is one of the best customer service experiences I have had ever. You should go here with whatever needs you have!!!!! Unless you need to buy fresh fruit. But, heck, theyd probably take you to do that, too!

Ive has some excellent customer service for the majority of times I’ve been to this location. Two years and for the first time I’m going to a competitor. I feel like the key to five star service at this location is hang up until you get someone other than Ollie.
This store has poor competence and terrible customer service. Two days ago I went there for noise check. I left my car there and one hour later the manager Tom called me over the phone. He told me that the noise was caused by the left-side rear brake pad that only had 3 mm left, and he suggested me to replace it. The total costs would be around 500 bucks. I said OK, you can do that. After 6 hours I went to pick it up, the price jumped to $1205.11. I was surprised about this and wanted to talk with Tom. However, he was not in the store. The lady at the counter called him, and he insisted that the price was correct!!!! OK, I just paid over $1200 to replace one side brake pad. Then they proposed to provide me more discount to let me pay the bill. The lady said we will give you $250.22 discount so that you just pay less for the bill. Wow, it sounds great, isnt it. Nonetheless, the new price was still $1182.29. The difference between two invoices is just $22.71. Seriously!!!! They were playing a number game. Then I checked the invoices and found that they just added several services that did not listed in the first invoice. The lady claimed that we just did that service but we did not charge you. Now we want you to know those are discounts we offered you. OMG, if you are right, I can do that all day!!!! Dont go there if you have another choice. Otherwise, you may pay over one thousand dollars to replace just one brake pad. By the way, the lady was extremely rude and I felt like an inconvenience just being there. If I can rate it with a ZERO star, I will. The store deserves it.

Their service has simply been mediocre in my opinion. I have nothing bad or good to say about this Goodyear location. Maybe a touch on the expensive side, but I would gladly pay for that if they had superior service. Ill be exploring other options looking for standout service.
Just got an oil change and alignment. Left the store and the car pulls to the right worse than it did before they started to work on it. This is a the second time this has happened and good news it will be the last as they will not work on my vehicle again. Prior to the store manager (Dave) coming to this location the store was excellent...never had a problem. Then Dave came to work here and the service is well lets just say they are fixing what they messed up the first time. 7-10-2017

Purchased four new tires from the Goodyear site, and set Appointment at this site for 3:30 same day. Arrived a little early and counter sales person was neutral (even frazzled Id say). I asked them to install new valve stems and put on wheel covers that were in the back (already off to troubleshoot a tire problem) and that I wanted to keep two of the tires. I also asked why there was TPMS Kit charges when I do not have that system, and the counter person said that would automatically drop off.Then the wait! It took some time for them to even pull my car in then more waiting and then more waiting. I was there over two hours for a simple tire purchase, with a appointment yet. Worse yet In those hours I heard every phone call to the desk of people trying to get their cars in that day and the counter person trying to fend them all off (some people just cant understand not today!), even someone who wanted the person to explain why parts fail lol gee-sh I also gathered they were also short help that day. I now understood why that person was a bit frazzled. during my wait I also saw a tire delivery by a distributor truck, Hmmm Im suspect they didnt even have my tires there (this actually happened to me here before). Any how after they were done and called me up to the counter and did the paperwork, I walked out to my car Wheel covers were not on and my tires were not in the back, I looked at the paperwork and the counter person did write it upon the order, so back to the counter, now customers ahead of me, more waiting. I told them dont worry about the covers but I wanted my tires, more waiting finally someone brought them to my car (bagged, thank you). They stated they had a new Technician, not a excuse! ( then someone a senior, or manger should be checking their work before it goes out). When I got home I noticed a valve stem was missing a cap, and that they had charged me for the TPMS kit but not the stems (a wash?)Anyhow that is my Honest experience. It wasnt a good one! I got my new tires but it was a really aggravating experience one which I will have to really think long about returning.As a side note I felt for the counter person having to field calls AND trying to run the front counter, if they are that busy maybe some duties should be split IMHO

My neighbor came to me with a problem . After getting an oil change at a very reasonable price, She was informed that a taillight could not be fixed because the light bulb had melted into the taillight housing . The cost was $ 700 to repair .I found the taillight lens assembly from the Kent Mazda Dealer for $ 70.93 before tax . It takes me a half hour (30 min.) to replace it . That comes out roughly $1200 per hr. for labor !That s just bad business ! What the hell is wrong with you guys !
Poor communication for a TIRE repair. Took over 6 hours after a early morning drop off and an hour time frame given. Simple communication goes a long way to each other and the customer.

Updated review.....I went to the stow/kent goodyear on 2/8/2019 for a tire check/repair...which was great & at no charge; but there ended up being an issue with a blown brake line...I complained about it/which they ended up calling in the district manager to help me with. So the district manager called me the same day as I called the complaint line, we made plans to meet at the summit mall Goodyear today 2/18/2019...He updated me step by step on what all was wrong with my van; and let me tell you...He was awesome! He went above and beyond making sure that my van was fixed/repaired properly and safe to drive my grandson and my dogs around,and myself! Jesse Gleespen- You kept your word- you said you would make this right, and you did, plus much more! Thanks so much for honoring your words to your customer. All of my repairs of today were done at the summit mall goodyear store. Theyve earned my trust back at this location! kudos to Richard- my mechanic today!!! Thanks. You did great!
This store does not stand behind their products. When I contacted the store to inquire about a tire issue (large sidewall bubble), I was immediately met with do you have road hazard coverage? (I do not). Instead of looking at the tire first, their default position was that it was caused by the customer (hitting a pothole, curb, etc.) vs. a defect issue . This is on a very expensive set of Eagle NCT5 ROF tires.I was so turned off by the sales associate, that I ordered a replacement tire from Tire Rack as opposed to having the Stow-Kent Goodyear store replace it (Tire Rack has great pricing, by the way). I find this kind of store attitude very off-putting. They have probably lost any future business from me. I wonder how many other customers feel the same way. As a Goodyear employee, I find this very troubling. How much business are we losing due to the poor customer service at this store?
Bought two tires almost a year ago, the thing popped while I was driving down Kent Road. I took it to this GoodYear and they insisted that I hit a pothole and that it wasnt covered under warranty, in fact, they wont even pro rate it for the tread which has only 20% wear. So they will not be covering a tire that I purchased brand new and still has 80% life left, and they will not pro rate, I would avoid this business like the plague.
This place is like a joke. Last year in summer, I bought 4 all season tires, and I got my winter tires back. At the beginning of the winter, when I went back they told me one of the winter tires did not match the others. Only then I realized they gave me back one of the winter tires wrong.I had them change the oil, and I asked them to properly stabilize the cover underneath the car. After they were done, I specifically asked them if they did it, and the answer was Yes. One day later, it was falling down. I went there back and had to complain.I heard a noise from my muffler, and I went to this store to have them check it. They said everything was fine. Then I went to a muffler shop and they showed me what was wrong. I wonder if they were blind.My conclusion is these people are a bunch of irresponsible, unhappy people who happen to be there at that store. Will I go there again? No way!
Arrogant service staff and were obviously trying to set themselves up for work. They claimed the vehicle was a quart low and had an oil leak when I had just checked the oil level the night before and when we dropped the vehicle off the brakes were fine and when we got back in the brake light was on and the pedal went all the way to the floor. Stay away!
My boyfriend took his car for an oil change nothing was wrong with the vehicle at this time. Staff notified him him that they had to put more oil in the car than it required hmmm..not long after check engine light came on car started bogging down took to a competitor come to find out oil is flooding the spark plugs and valves went bad...cause..too much oil put into resivore. Staff denies everything they are rude and incompetent. Place even charged him for the extra oil! Who does that.
Terrific service, honest and accurate. Been taking my Hondas here for years, including my 2003 with over 260,000 miles on it. We now take our Nissan here for routine maintenance and repairs. Unless something requires a dealership, we will continue taking our vehicles here.
I had my car to do an alignment because it pukls to the right a little bit. I took the car and it is still the same thing pulling to the right... I took it back to them and told him it still doing it he said it wasnt doing it when i test it i told him lets take it for spin he drove it and he noticed the pull so he took it back and i told him are you sure you set the steering wheel correctly before you did the alignment he said yes ok i wait until the second time alignment is done... No surprise still pulling to the right talk to him again he said it could be a mechanical we can take a look for 170$ so i took my car and drove... Every thing still the same my car still pull exactly as it was before i come to store. I took the to another place the put it on the machine he told me the alignment was not correct .. The steering wheel was not set correctly ... So i paid 91$ to wait about hour and half and nothing done to it who ganna get me my money back? 03/07/2018 10:00 am

I hate to give a poor rating based on a 3 minute encounter on the phone but it was such a bad experience I had to share! Tom was extremely arrogant and rude..... then when I asked for his name again so I could tell his manager about the insane behavior he lied and said his name was John. Clearly he knew he was not acting professionally and had cost his company a $550 sale!
