Ascent hearing is a great place to get hearing aids. This is the third place that I’ve gotten hearing aids. I’ve had four pair of hearing aids so far and this is the most convenient and welcoming office that I have been at. The hearing aids are great. The people in the office are very nice. I’ve had these hearing aids for a little over a year and every time I call them I get in right away. If I ever have any questions I just call him and they either answer it on the phone or schedule me for an office call.Larry Walters

Very impressed with this office and of the kind and courteous staff. You dont find businesses ran like this anymore. The audiologist could not be any more professional. I was a little intimidated getting my heating checked for the fist time but they could not have made the experience any more relaxing and inviting. Will definitely recommend friends and family!

We went here for his first hearing check, he needed aids but instead of fitting him with what he needed they spent 2 weeks trying to find out how much our insurance would pay, also poorly run office! Would not recommend!

I brought my three-year-old son in to discuss some questions we had concerning his hearing loss and I cannot say enough about how positive of an experience it was for us. Nicest doctor ever. My ears started to act weird and I went in for a free hearing test. The doctor was really nice and helpful and explained everything and took a lot of time even though it was a free test. He didnt even get grossed out by a big gob of earwax I had which was super embarrassing. I cant say enough nice things about this doctor. Everything was on time and professional and clean. I want to get my mom to go here but she is in hearing loss denial. I cant recommend highly enough.

I was reluctant to get an aid but Dr. Whitten was very patient with me. Taking the time to explain everything and fitting me with a great hearing aid which is not noticeable. Now, I hear perfectly and am sorry I waited so long.

Wish the Audiologist wouldnt have wasted precious time misleading me about the insurance he supposedly accepted. I waited 3 months to find out that Med Mutual was never going to be covered and it was an on going issue. Thanks for being courteous, but thanks for nothing.

Dr. Whitten, or should I say, hearing aid master and commander, is one of the best hearing healthcare professionals around. I was terrified at the thought of getting my hearing tested. However, Dr. Whitten has such a gentle touch and warm smile. The hearing test was quick and easy! He slid the earphones in my ear and made me touch his button when I heard the musical tones. It was magnificent and inspiring. Once it was determined that my hearing was as good as the 2019 Cleveland Cavilers, I decided to get hearing devices. Dr. Whitten set me up with some slick on-ear hearing computers that made me hear all these lovely sounds I forgot even existed! He also connected my new ears wirelessly to my TV, just in time watch the Warriors win the NBA Championship. Thank you Dr. Whitten! My only regret is that I did not seek his smooth hearing touch sooner!

Had Ascent Audiology do ear impressions for a new set of IEMs. They are fantastic people and were extremely easy to schedule with! Would recommend to any musician/friend.

I just want to say what I great experience I had visiting Dr. Whittens office with my son recently. As a parent you hate to see your child poked and prodded because you cant help ease their fears at times. Dr. Whitten took the time to ease my sons fears and explained everything he was doing as he did it. It was a very relaxed environment and he even asked my son to call him Dr. Chris to break the ice. Im happy we found him and appreciate that he took the time to show us what options would work best for my sons hearing condition.

The one I n Stow Ohio is awful, I felt like I walked into a car dealership, Mr Chris Witten has no bedside manner, the only way I learned his name is because of his College diplomas hanging on the wall, the matched his ego! I would not recommend anyone to go there.

Dr. Whitten provided excellent service to my grandfather. My grandfather is 84 yrs old and has a very hard time hearing. Dr. Whitten was patient with him and treated him so kindly and with much respect. He took the time to explain all his test results and helped him to understand them. I would recommend Dr. Whitten to anyone who is looking for a hearing doctor. He was wonderful!

My hearing has been poor for several years; and I knew it. I tried several inexpensive hearing aids that I purchased over the internet, with some limited success. My hearing loss reached the point where it was affecting my family. Finally I made the decision to purchase high-quality hearing aids. I had my hearing tested by 2-3 different companies. They suggested hearing aids, but I never felt confident about those companies. At Ascent Audiology, I could tell immediately that Dr. Whitten and his staff really knew what they were doing! (I guess the fact that Mr. Whitten has an Au.D makes a difference!). His staff is very friendly and easy to work with. Ascent Audiology stands by their products. I have been in a couple of times for fine tuning, and they always greet me with a smile. I highly recommend Ascent Audiology for anyone serious about getting help for hearing loss!

Very friendly staff, but the wait time for an appointment is way too long. Ordered hearing aids for my mom had to call to see if they were in then another 2 weeks for an appointment. This was a 3 month process.

I am so impressed with the care and attention I received from Dr Whitten at Ascent Audiology in Stow. He took the time to explain every step of the tests and show me in detail the results. Because the hearing aids prices are so reasonable, I opted for one that I can control with my iphone. I left there a new person. Thank you Dr Whitten. This was a major discovery, and the technology to enhance the different mode settings of my environment, is totally amazing. I am totally in charge of my sound comfort adjustments, in every situation, such as conversations, groups, music, church, concert hall, and outdoor experience. The aid actually tells me one hour before I need a new battery.When I got my new iPhone 7 XXL with no connection ear plug, Dr. Whitten. fitted my hearings aids with Bluetooth software to my iPhone which now controls my hearing aids monitoring. With this technology, I was able to scan, with the detector, to find my lost hearing aid, which gave me, right down to the house number, a pin point to the lost aid.I feel like I have professional interest and care with Dr. Whitten and hisPatient Care Coordinator Brooke Jividen, who is an audiology degreed specialist.
