Great customer service. I walked into the store and was met with kind service at a fair price. I only came in for a some tenor sax reeds, but ended up enjoying their book selection as well.

One of my favourite music stores in the area to come to. There are always some great deals on the sales floor (right now you can save $400 on an American Telecaster), and every time I come in I have a great time talking to Nick about everything ranging from guitar mods to stories from gigs. Plus, this is the only place Ive ever been to where you can actually pick up and play a new Samick/Silvertone guitar in person!

They dont know whats going on at all. We were just charged for a second month for a sax that NO ONE has responded about lessons. We have called and went up there for a teacher to call us back. We bought reeds and everything . Absolutely no point in having it at all. We rented and wanted to get lessons before school started. This started the first week of July. Total joke.

I would highly recommend this store to guitarists. Their selection of equipment for guitars is huge compared to everything else. As a drummer, the amount of sticks, drums, etc. is very low but for band instruments and guitars, this is an amazing local store! The employees are also very kind and always know what to do when you ask them a question or request something. If you need a good local store, Sound Board Music is it!

After learning that the owner supports President Trump, I knew that that is a business I would like to support. Staff is courteous and helpful. I will definitely return.

Bought a guitar that was on display broken; man working, who is one of the owners (id been in there before) offered to fix it for me, didnt tell me he was going to charge me. it came out to twenty-thirty dollars extra, with tax. the tax was a blank line on the receipt. get this: he broke it worse. when i got home a pickup had stopped working. the guitar wasnt even marked as used; i got overcharged (doublecharged) for an effects pedal that wasnt marked -at all- in the same transaction. to top it all off, had to witness a (very) young student of his who looked like he was at the point of tears just showing up- probably because this guy, again, one of the owners, yelled at him immediately. probably because his teaching skills match his technical skills? and this place advertises itself as repairs, lessons, then instruments. really? just.. really

Entirely too many years ago in a galaxy, far, far, far, too far away my 6th grade music teacher turned me on to Dave and his original store that was just down the road at Graham and Fishcreek. Bought my first Yamaha acoustic guitar from him and Ill guess they hadnt been open but a few months?All these years later Dave and the gang are still going because of the high quality, great service and interaction with all the school programs around the region. Ive personally bought and rented gear from this store over all these years without a single problem and every band I ever worked with was dragged down here to buy equipment and left with huge smiles on their faces. And this from ALL over NE Ohio, 50+ miles away they can and came back afterwards for more!So it doesnt matter if youre an aspiring musician in school, college, in a garage band or even semi-pro or better - GO SEE SOUND BOARD! You wont regret it, I know in nearly 3 decades I never have.Oh, why? Well look around and see what other music stores are left after the same amount of years or are down to just one store. ALL ofem!
