Excellent place with complete variety ranging construction, decor, home appliances, planting etc. I visited their for the some tools but was really impressed to see the range of products, you can have almost everything from screws to large drills and cutters and from small switches to security cameras. Really recommend.

Not happy was there today for some reason they were watching me I wasnt stealing or anything so as Im walking out guy is outside in regular clothes waiting for me they must of felt stupid because everything I had was payed for smh. This place is an adults version of Toys R Us, I can walk in and stay hours that feel like minutes. The level of customer service here is better than the concierge service at the Plaza Hotel as seen in Home Alone. 5 thumbs way up.

Very quick trip to pick up some small items to repair clothing rack. Clean bathroom, parking was not a problem, items I needed were in stock, prices were reasonable. Staff could have been more helpful, or more staff available, that is my only complaint whenever I go there.

We picked up our cabinet order but it has a dent. So we asked for replacement. There was a slight delay that didnt bother us at all. While waiting, TENNIA, who was attending to us, gave me and my husband ice cold water and apologized for the delay. She then called for.someone to help us load the cabinet in our car. That was a remarkable customers service!!TINA, was also remarkable in facilitating everything.These employees are amazing and touched our hearts. Great job Tennia and Tina.

I cannot say enough bad things about the kitchen design process. Ive visited the store a dozen times, made dozens of calls, made payment, yet still cant get cabinet job started. They dont even know what pieces (cabinets) have shipped to the house and asked me to inventory the pieces for them. Started this at least 5 months ago with no end insight. Worst expediters ever.

I am French (Paris region) and visited this property to purchase supplies for my Connecticut apartment. The presentation of the material is very different here compared to Leroy Merlin in France. But I note one thing: everything is presented in a practical and efficient way, there is no refinement in the pits. In the quality of the articles presented we privileged the solidity; especially washing machines, refrigerators and kitchen ovens. For me, this robustness symbolizes the United States!

The employees here are friendly and helpful. While it doesnt have as many products as other locations, its still a good store to shop at. In addition, the app doesnt accurately reflect their product placement.

I went to home depo to buy a mailbox with a lock for my home.home depo was very clean spacious and stocked.when i asked for help the women knew what isle the mailbox was in .so i got it and got in line.the cashier who checked me out was respectful and i will be shopping there again. There prices are wonderful also.i recommend my family and friends co workers to shop there no where else.

Staff struggled to process our return and even to properly enter the order number. Was told several times that my item wasnt in my order (despite having my receipt) until a different worker came over and after 10 more minutes showed the employee how to do it properly

I like this Home Depot a lot actually. I can’t say I enjoy the parking lot craziness or the large amount of people that come all throughout the day, but the Home Depot here is the most organized of the three biggies in this parking complex (Walmart, Home Depot & Shop Rite.) Their employees are sweet and helpful and available when you need them for questions about purchases for home fixing needs. I love their curbside pickup option, just wish it were offered past 6PM.

My family and I stopped by the Home Depot in Stratford, CT to purchase some equipment and tools for my brothers new landscaping business yesterday and we were blessed to encounter Thomas.Thomas helped us find everything we needed and with such patience and professionalism. At no time did we feel pressured or rushed to purchase one particular brand or the most expensive brands. Thomas is very knowledgeable about the products sold at Home Depot.We came from out of state just for the weekend and Thomas made this whole process a breeze. I cant rave enough about this young man. Home Depot is my go-to store for some of my home improvement projects. The store has a good variety of stock.

Staff greeted me upon entry and told me exactly where to find what I needed as I was in a hurry. Unfortunately, my cashier Nicole was rude, condescending and completely unhelpful. Ruined an otherwise pleasant shopping experience.

I went for a generator the guy in drill and those tools department told me its in garden area. I walked garden area for 20 minutes when I finally found an associate I was told they dont carry generators in the store, I have to order online. What a waste of time. I just left my shopping cart with everything in it and went home. I was too annoyed to wait online again.

Recently went to inquire about changing out my bathroom vanity. Erika was very helpful explaining all the options. We also talked about flooring changes too. I have her card and will be back once I check with my better half about our plans. Thank you.

Just got a Weber grill April 4 and used on line pick up at the store. The send me a message when it was ready and came outside to my truck. The female was friendly and helpful it’s was one of the best experience I had at this Stratford store .

Awesome selection and right by my house

Basically rebuilt my entire house from this store and Ive had many wonderful experiences here with a lot of amazing staff. DeeDee, Erika, John (Manager), and many more are the best to work with and keep me coming back. Keisha (weekends) needs to check her attitude at the door however. Twice Ive asked her questions at self checkout and twice Ive been interrupted before I could finish and sent elsewhere or just without answer.

I have been going to this Optimistic for over 50 ys. Now I have Dr. Hoo. She andHer staff are EXCELLENT. I RECOMMENDANYONE TO GO SEE THEM.

My visit to home depot was great! At first I couldnt find proper help, but i was able to get employees who worked there for a while who helped me with my fridge filter and my indoor plants. My patience pay off. Dont hesitate to ask as many employees as you find for help. Some will take the time to make sure you satisfied.

We love this store! Not just the chain of stores but this in particular. Our paint mixer was so sweet and helpful. All staff was! The smell of wood though! Heavenly. Succulent selection was gorgeous and the outdoor display makes you feel like fall.

Wow.services amazing.the staff really help me on my project. Explained the difference between one items n the used of them.

Had to get keys made once I got service it was very good. Waiting for service feels like a lifetime. Had many employees walk by not even say a word until a complete stranger went up to ask someone for help with the keys and what do you know it was the person that makes keys. I personally made eye contact with multiple times.

I took away 2 points for pricing and one for having to chase down workers for help. If they improve on these 2 areas they will be 5 stars in my book

Great place to find all your repair products

Like most home depots, you either get NO help, or too much! i dont know why that is. I went it looking for a convertor for the outlet i use for my dryer. when i went into that area, i had maybe 2 or 3 people graciously helping me out. the helper who showed me what to buy was very helpful and convinced me i can do this fix myself with the help of youtube. im excited to do a little DIY in the house. then i went to get a key made --- oh boy. if youve ever gone to get a key copy at HD you know where this is going! no one as far as the eyes can see. I stood there waiting for 10mins. finally walked to customer service and got someones attention (most just refused to make eye contact - i think they could see my frustration). but the one lady who acknowledged me was very helpful. she paged the guy and told me if she peeks over and see me still standing there, shell come over and do it herself. so i go back and still no one. i see the guy, but he doesnt even look in my direction. any way, at some point i put the keys away and walk away saying loudly, my feet hurt too much for this, i give up, you win.... and then all of sudden 2 other associates come over to help me. so glad they came, but where were yall 20mins ago! lol...i got my keys, the associates who helped me were helpful and friendly. the others are dead to me. got my keys, got my outlet and got the heck out of there.

Went to get a replacement cord for a 12k BTU window AC that was trashed because the cord was damaged (LCDI) I got a new 14/3 cord and the AC works fine and blows nice ice 🧊 cold 🥶 air Im now ready for the hot weather thanks to home depot and whoever tossed that AC out for a simple and easy cheap fix!

Home Depot is quick in. One isnt cattled around which helps with the entire experience. All-in-all HD is a decent place for home improvement. Someone t-boned my truck when my son was parked and shopping inside. They took off, so as far as this parking lot goes my advice is park super carefully as nobody sees anything and knows nothing.

They are friendly and give great service. Thank you to all that work at this Home Depot for always being so helpful.

Went in on a whim after leaving Best Buy to compare pricing on appliances. Was able to sit down with the manger Erika, who was amazing and super knowledgeable. To start I love Home Depot in the States. The ones in Merida do not carry nearly as much, they are not well organized, and a bit pricey for Mexico. I found it difficult finding what I was looking for, ended up finding it on Amazon. Merida Mexico Home Depot will not honor gift cards from the states although Home Depot says they can be used in Mexico. The manager said their registers are not set up for it. But 3 stars for being in Mexico. Hopefully corporate helps them improve.

Went to look for new tub,vanity. Found one we liked, but only 1 with right hand drain, and that one was damaged. Cant find anyone to help you. Ended up going home with nothing but wasted time.

Shelves are stocked, product easy to find with info from website. Easy mostly fast checkout if you pay attention and can walk a bit.I bought something online and had it waiting in a locker for me. What a great experience, I wish other stores like best buy would look into implementing such a thing.

Warning do not purchase any appliances from Home Depot. Two years ago we purchased all new appliances. From the beginning the delivery and installation were a nightmare. The delivery team scratched up a new washing machine. We denied to accept it. They took over three hours just to bring in a refrigerator. They were unprofessional. We should’ve at that time denied it all. We were told it would take about a month for installers to come out. Unbelievable. We ended up paying another company to do it as we could not wait that long. They then brought a new washing machine which turned out to be another dryer. Then we had to wait even longer. It was a disaster from day one. Now our new nightmare began back in July. Our washing machine broke. We called the number for service. We purchased five year warranties from Home Depot. We called on Friday and they said they would be out Monday to check it out. Well they didn’t come out. Instead asked for a video of the noise. I sent it out to themImmediately. My husband called later in the week and they stated they ordered the parts but didn’t know when they would come in. Not sure what parts they ordered. We waited a week and called again and they said the same thing, they ordered the parts and that they didn’t have a delivery date. We questioned how they know what parts and they said by the video. The third week came and at this point the THD case manager got involved. She stated she showed no record of parts being ordered. She called the service people and they had just ordered them. Then the parts supposedly got lost. They had to order again. At this point we are way over a month of waiting and playing these games. This problem started in August and it wasn’t until September 29th that a technician finally arrived. After I called again that morning to ensure they were coming because they were late. I had to leave for an appointment so a family member was here for the gentleman to arrive. First off he had no idea why he was even there. He spent 20 minutes looking at stuff. He was quite unprofessional. He left saying the washing machine was unfixable. Home Depot warranty then took another 2 weeks to send me my check as I requested because I wasn’t going to use them again. My new washing machine (from another company) arrived last week. I went to use it that night and when I went to turn on the washing machine it made the SAME EXACT noise!!!! Our plumber just came out and said the valve went bad it was never the machine!!!! So now I’ve wasted over two months and more money all to find out my washing machine was never broken!!!!!!!! I emailed backed the THD case worker and she said she understands my frustration but managers do not call people back. WHAT THE HELL!!! Is this some kind of joke??? No one is held accountable for this nightmare??? I’m so furious!!! While the sales lady in the store was great, you are at the mercy of their installers and service people and they are awful!!!! They don’t stand by anything and just ignore my emails and complaints. So while it may seem like a great deal you are getting, the customer service is the worst I’ve ever dealt with.

Slow, slow witted, or both? You decide! I called for curbside pick-up, there were already 4 or 5 people ahead of me but how long could it possibly take, right? Waited 20 minutes before a guy came out pushing one of those heavy dollies with a small plastic bag on it. 1 down! waited 25 minutes longer... here he comes again with another single plastic bag on the dolly. Oh brother... Ten more minutes and Id have been there over an hour. I called and asked them to cancel my curbside pick-up. Two hang-ups and some unintelligible gibberish later I got the OK. Just got an email thanking me for picking up my order... So I guess Ill be on the phone for another hour with Home Depot or my CC company trying to get a refund?Whatever you do, dont hire these guys to build anything for you, it will take a long, long, long time. They can only move things from one place to another 1 at a time. Added 1 star because they are always nice here.

Ok for a quick stop but still doesnt beat the service at a old fashioned hardware store. If you need something very specific or need help finding the right item you are better off elsewhere.

The people in the Home Depot on Barnum Avenue in Connecticut are really really nice theyre very courteous excellent very knowledgeable of everything that they have in there and I like that not like Brooklyn Home Depot for sure

Recently purchased a refrigerator and a screen door from Home Depot Service is really slow and the communication is very bad. The sub contractor putting in the door after three months of waiting was really nice and professional however.

I came in to get a vacuum cleaner belt. Anthony, the associate who was helping me. Got assistance from Maria, they went far above and beyond to find what I needed. They were cheerful, polite, and positive. They are the kind of employees that make you feel good when you think of home Depot. Id highly recommend them to anyone.

Easy_on_easy_off from exit 33 of i_95 (Connecticut turnpike), on Barnum ave cutoff(U.S. route 1) the main east/west route through town. This is across the housatonic River from Milford, the dividing line between fairfield County and new haven County. This is at the intersection with state route 110 (east main street), and about half mile from the intersection with main street(state route 113).

Went to buy a hose. Purchased a 50 foot Silver Bullet hose for $29.99. Upon arriving back home I notice the package was taped on top (red flag 1) I open it still and go outside to water my garden. As I walk out I see drops of water coming out of the brand new hose (red flag 2). Finally I hook the hose up and turn on the water and it sprays everywhere due to its multiple leaks. Obviously a return that never shouldve made its way back on the shelf. So I go back to the store and the only reason it gets 2 stars is the lady agreed 100% that it never shouldve gone back kn the shelf and gave me a new one. But still time and energy wasted.

After many years roaming the floor, I have the Stratford Store memorized pretty well.However, when guidance is needed, I get correct directions. Employees=5stars!
