Went in for an oil change and the tech broke the filter covers. I was not aware. Light on dash board indicated an issue, I called to ask, they told me to do manual reprograming of the computer, ( this is done via the dashboard electronic system) that the tech was new and forgot. When in all actuality today, while at Vavoline The hood was opened for the 1st time since, as a result of Firestone’s neglectful service. The heater on my car wasn’t working do you lack of antifreeze which, they should have noted and addressed, and didn’t! 😡 it was then discovered, that there was damage to the car. I need this rectified immediately. Went in to speak to someone, and the young man turned me away and asked me to return when a manager was available. I am very disappointed. However, I spoke to someone else ‘Chris’ and he will be contacting me tomorrow after he speaks to the manager ‘ John’ I pray that I get good news. Going forward they have now lost me as a customer.

Not a great experience. Usually they are very good, but this time was a miss. Took 3 weeks and 3 visits, to get my new tires balanced correctly.

Went in for an alignment last week, held car for 2 1/2 hours at appointment. Was quoted $861+ in TIE ROD repair and could not align tires. Went to private mechanic after, nothing wrong with TIE ROD but passenger CV Joint, and very loose driver side bolt in which Fire Stone never diagnosed or mentioned. Definitely scamming the average driver with limited car knowledge. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. Can provide any proof if needed.

Very uninformative and Unknowledgeable staff.I took my vehicle for a free brake inspection and was not given any information on what was causing the problem.they also left my brake calipers hanging from the brake line after removing them which is very unprofessional and can cause damage to the lines.after wasting my time they tried to sell me a brake job I did not need as I had just replaced my pads and rotors a couple weeks before bringing it in and was only getting the inspection done to find out what was causing the loud squeaking noise and have that fixed.they claim it’s because my emergency brake was getting to the point of needing to be replaced,which has nothing to do with why the main brakes which are practically brand new are screeching.this place will try to sell you stuff you don’t actually need,and potentially damage your vehicle in the process.The free inspection was just a huge waste of my time and I wouldn’t do it there again if they paid me,I was told nothing I didn’t already know or couldn’t figure out myself,and I still have the same issue I had before bringing it in.

As usual the staff was friendly and professional. I went in for an oil change and wiper blades. My car was promptly serviced. Facility was clean and hand sanitizer was available.

Had a great experience at the Stratford Firestone location on Friday. The customer service person was courteous, well informed and genuine. I was in and out relatively quickly and the price was great. I couldnt ask for anything more and I will be back with my wifes car when the time comes.

Went there today because my 2 year old firestone tires with only 20,000 miles on them had their black sidewalls peeling and showing white. Was told it is not a defect in the tires just normal wear and tear. So the best they could do is prorate and gave me a price. I agreed and was told they could do it today in 2 hours. Over 4 hours it took to get four tires and a wheel alignment. I hope these tires last longer!

Geoff is our regular service tech, an “A” tech for years, we trust him with all our vehicle maintenance and service. James, our relatively new manager, is equally competent on the managerial side, but also knows his cars and mechanics. They are our Sunday regulars.

I went to go get a regular check for my mini and when they did their work my motor failed and up to this point my car has gone thru 2 motors and they still can’t give me a decent car that work and I’m not getting any resolutions to my problem with the motor of my car. I would not recommend firestone AT ALL TO NO ONE. You have better luck fixing it yourself than to deal with these people that do want to fix your car and that will say they know how when in reality they don’t even know how to work on a car made by bmw

Zero respect for your time. First time I made a 10am appointment to get tires changed and ended up waiting till 2pm for a VERY SIMPLE TIRE CHANGE. Second time Dropped car off at 10am to plug a tire, service man said it should be done by 3pm, ended up waiting till 6:30pm (after closing hours) to plug one tire. These guys simply dont care.

Last winter I bought Firestone blizzak winterforce tires. They were slightly more expensive than a name brand at a locally owned shop that i was quoted, but not much more. I purchased these tires because the sales person said it came with free lifetime change overs. I was informed today after completion of my pre-scheduled change over (which no one told me on when scheduling or at drop off they would no longer honor the previous deal) that this policy has been revoked and all change overs are $66 for my vehicle and these tires. This is not an outrageous charge, but the bait and switch is terrible. My fee this time was waived but I wont ever get to use the free change over policy that was used to hook me in the first place again. I started to enjoy my local Firestone as I began using it for other services since the new tires, but am really disappointed that this policy wouldnt be grandfathered and honored. Since purchasing these tires I have had all my other services here. However, this seems so dishonest and unfair I believe I need to reconsider that decision. This wouldve been my first change over.

Dropped my wife car off early Saturday morning, to replace wheel studs & change over winter wheels to summer tires/wheels, & change the oil.They called a few hrs later told me how much it would cost, & what it needed. I told them I was okay w/ price, they said they would call when they were done. Seven hrs later they called me, said it was done, & that I could pick it up wherever Im ready.Very happy with everything.

The manager there is a real a-hole would not suggest coming here unless you want to be ripped off

WARNING. Do not go here. They will break your car. They broke my oil cap and oil pan. Over 1000 dollars to repair. Serious repairs, that I luckily got else where. Customer service was terrible. Terrible buisness. Better off at a small business mechanic.

Went to get new tires my hubcap was missing. I called to simply ask if it was mistakenly dropped or left behind. Whomever answer the phone told me my technician said it was missing. Mind you that doesn’t mean he was right. I checked my suv before I dropped it off. He then goes to say well like I said. I will never go back there again. I currently use Firestone for my car. They seem well intentioned and earnest, but like all auto shops these days I consider second opinions as well. Not actively trying to extort money from me.

They took me in when my car broke down, down the street without an appointment.

Came through for us on a Sunday after our tire popped on the interstate. Squeezed us in & had us out in less than an hour, and gave us a good deal on the service. So thankful!

Took my car on a Friday to get a front end alligment and on Monday I am at the mechanics bc Firestone tech f my car up. Who do you guys hire but is ok our credit card company got us . If you dont want to spend a whole day and alot of money for your car to have more problems I recommend do not take it their .

Dropped off the car for snow tire change over to summer tire. All wheels were flat below 20psi. Didnt even bother to check before handing over the keys. Doors were closed at 5:30pm even though its supposed to be open until 7pm.

Dont go here. Went for a simple tire repair and not only could they not fix my tire but they went under the hood and touched something they had no permission to touch. Had to bring my car to my mechanic the next day to fix what they broke.

My dealership charges less than them and the manager was extremely aggressive for a sale. I also told him no multiple times for a firestone card and each time he sighed in disappointment as if my business there wasnt enough.

Well, they take appointments but they do not seem to understand how to keep appointments. If they tell you that Friday at 3pm is good and you agree, what does that mean to most people? You arrive about 5 minutes early. You walk in. They service advisor greets you and you proceed to articulate that you had called two days prior and spoke to xxxxx and you have a 3pm appointment for a basic oil change, tire rotation. The service advisor questions you if the appointment was entered into the computer. Any rational person would hope so. The service advisor looked it up and there is was on the screen. I was told my vehicle would be pulled in in about 15 to 20 minutes. Reasonable. The TV in the waiting area had Divorce Court. Not my choice but so be it. At 4:05 pm my vehicle was still outside . At 4:10 pm it was brought inside. OK I guess 15 to 20 minutes really means 30 to 60 minutes.At 4:30 pm I was told its all done. I asked if eveything included the rotation was done. I was told yes. I again asked and added on its only been 20 minutes in the bay, is it 100% done? Yes, Im told.What do you think?

I made a reservation for an oil change and to get 1 tire replaced at 3pm. Since I got off work at 12 I decided to arrive early at 1230 to see if there were any open spots available . I’ve been waiting around for over 6 1/2 hours and find it very frustrating that it takes this long. I was unaware of this timetable and think you should notify customers if the wait time exceeds 2-3hours.

I want to talk about my experience here at firestone. I was coming from Boston and I got a flat and I when to Town Fair Tires tire because it was around the corner where I got my flat. Those people there wasnt helpful at all super nasty they didnt care how stress I was at the situation. Then I started to look in google and found this place FireStone it was 5 mins away John C was super sweet and waited in till I got there even though they where about to close. The whole staff are very nice and helpful. EvenTremaine White was super nice we where starving he offer us coffee and gave us the address of dinners around. I made an appointment to get an oil change for 9am. I was standing in front of two workers, who took notice of me. 10 mins later, still standing there, one worker goes to get himself a cup of coffee, while juggling his grapefuit( cant make this up). Completely ignoring the fact that Im standing there. The other one chatting it up with another worker. The level of unprofessionalism was crazy. I finally left.

Had an 11am appointment for an oil change and tire rotation, which doesn’t take long. The person at the counter told us no longer than an hour and a half and two and a half hours later...still waiting.

Go for second opinion before spending your money on services they suggest you need. Especially if your car is leaking fluids shortly after your visit there.

Had a nail in my tire, took 1.5 hours for them to do it. Instead of asking for the tire key lock, they went through my stuff to find it. This is the first time this had ever happened to me. Total lack of respect. Will not be going back.

Made an appointment a week earlier for an oil change, showed up1/2 got early to drop the car off. 3 hours later I had to call to find out if the car was ready and was told it will be the next car in. An hour later I just showed up and still not had been touched. I just got the keys and left, I was told they dont know what happened really? Last time I visit this place.

Slow service and pricey, taking 2~3 hours for a oil change and then recommend a list of pricey service.
