I think that being under staffed and over burdened has crippled this pharmacy. Sometimes its fine but some days are horrible. I know that covid has taken its toll on these businesses and its hard to manage supply and demand for medication and unfortunately most people havent had there medication in days by the time they get there or scared about results from a covid test, ect and its hard to be nice and calm when you feel Ill or in pain or worried. its a frustrating system and I know we feel a need to control every substance that helps people, maybe after several refills a customer could be put into an honor system especially older and very sick people who cant go without them.

I got a covid test done, there was no line talked me through how to do it which was great. I got it done at 3:30pm, she said I would get results by that night because it was a rapid test and I never did.

In picking up prescriptions from the Pharmacy I have, on several occasions, experienced poor customer service, as well as interactions with staff ranging from friendly and helpful, to clueless, to outright rude, depending on the day.It is clear the pharmacy is very busy and understaffed and I sympathize with the staff up to a point.Staff seems unfamiliar with the old saying that, when there’s a problem, the simplest explanation is often the most likely. For example: is it more likely that my insurance company doesn’t know my Date of Birth, or that an overworked pharmacy tech might have simply mis-typed it?I’m not upset, we all make mistakes, just accept that you made one and re-enter the information so we can all get on with our day. Don’t argue with me and certainly don’t speak to me in a way that prompts the customer standing behind me in line to lean in and say to me “she didn’t have to be such a b*tch about it.”Hire more people and give everyone some time off to de-stress.

I have used this Pharmacy for 20 years. It is the best service of any store - pharmacy or otherwise - that I have shopped. The Pharmacy Team has very little turn over; they communicate clearly and try to be helpful any way that they can. They are great!

I wanted to publicly thank CVS Pharmacy in Stratham for the outstanding COVID testing process. I had seen and heard so many horror stories about getting COVID tests. CVS had made it such a simple, smooth, non-stressful experience. From requesting a timely appointment, to outstanding detailed information, to the safe, drive-up experience, to the amazing, caring assistance by the staff, this was by far the best process there could be. Additionally, I had an email with a link to sign up for my test result chart by the time I got home. Again, thank you for making this potentially most stressful time in my life such a simple one.

I set up 2 Covid Tests in the past two days and had them both canceled. The second one I showed up and waited at CVS for 20 mins before anyone acknowledged me. After they acknowledged me they told me CVS wasn’t doing testing today.I don’t understand why they couldn’t just call me and notify me they weren’t doing testing instead of wasting my time. The world is difficult enough right now with out the people you trust for Covid Testing to act like this...

Very friendly staff especially in the pharmacy. I usually go to a different pharmacy and was pleasantly surprised. Everything is nonstop crazy during Covid and pharmacies are essential. Be kind as they were to me. Will definitely be going here again.1/28/2021Addendum. Just had a covid pcr test here yesterday and the staff were very patient and kind. My results came in 32 hours for which is impressive. Highly recommemd.

Racial profiling at its finest. I take several medications every month due to severe, chronic health issues that often land me in the hospital for weeks at a time. A couple of those medications are very difficult to find each month as pharmacies are always “out of stock”. They always send my husband (as I am too sick to trek all over New England) on a wild goose chase from pharmacy to pharmacy until we either finally find a pharmacy or my doctor has to substitute my medication. The delay leaves me bedridden in the meantime.Recently, went to this CVS to fill one of my other monthly prescriptions, which is always in stock. I have been in the process of changing all of my family’s prescriptions over to Rite Aid, but my doctor had listed this CVS on the prescription so I figured I had to go there. Otherwise I never would have gone there because the pharmacist there always, always has an excuse for not filling any of my medication for some reason. Sure enough, she told my husband and I that because I get my hard-to-find prescriptions from different pharmacies, and I have had prescriptions from several different providers in the past (a result of having moved 4 times in 3 years due to my husband’s job, and several lengthy hospitalizations where I was discharged with prescriptions from the hospital doctors), she refused to ever fill any of my prescriptions ever again. She insisted I change doctors to one in NH, and I explained that my doctor in Boston already knows my complicated history well. I was shocked she was treating me this way. As if I was some criminal and not a severely ill person who has done nothing wrong other than be sick. The last time I unexpectedly missed doses of my medication, I had a seizure and was luckily with my husband who was able to get me help right away. I am terrified of missing doses of my medication again and having another seizure, as it could happen while I’m alone or with my kids or in the car and unable to call for help. The pharmacist made false accusations and treated me like dirt loudly in front of other customers. She refused to allow me to correct her or even respond. I have never seen her treat any other customer this way and I hope no one else has to be treated as cruelly as I was. I should not have to live in fear of having another seizure due to a pharmacist who cares more about her job than the life of a minority she judges to be not worth the “paperwork.”

I have been here many times and have always been very pleased with the customer service and all aspects of every visit. I can’t say much about the pharmacy as I have only used it for cold medicine a couple times but those visits were just as pleasant. I’m actually about to go there now and will change my review if anything changes. I try to review a place after multiple visits so I can give accurate information about each store. I live half the week in Exeter and have been here over 20 times in the last 5 years. A++

Gross Bathrooms, Not what you expect from a company/store that prides themselves on health!! Store itself seems fine, but I suggest cleaning your bathrooms more frequently and maybe updating them to match the rest of the store design. Youre in a nice modern store, and then the bathrooms are something out of a warehouse, so that seems off. Literally the Irving gas station across the street has much nicer/cleaner restrooms

The pharmacy is very short staffed. The poor pharmacist was trying to check people out and fill prescriptions at the same time. They need more help.I felt so bad for these poor employees trying to help people with their hands tied. I don’t know how they can get themselves out of bed and motivated to go into work. I hope that management will get you some help. If this continues CVS will lose customers to Walgreens right down the street or the many supermarkets next door.

Stratham NH. The worst CVS I have ever been to. Pharmacist will arbitrarily decide not to fill valid prescriptions that can be filled at other CVS. Save yourself some time and go down the street to rite-aide in Exeter.

The main Pharmacist there has no customer service skills and is extremely unhelpful. I tried getting a prescription filled there to save time on my long commute to work and she looks for any reason to throw the book in your face and say she cant help you. I tried calling first to see if there would be any issues with filling it and she told me to come in person she couldnt help me over the phone and when i did come in she proceeded to give me a hard time about my address etc.. when if she had just taken the time to ask me over the phone she could of just told me to go to a different CVS instead of wasting both of our time.

I get my prescription at the same time every month. These guys constantly are out of stock of it. It’s like, they don’t order it until someone comes in with a prescription or something. Well, that poses a problem for people because they can’t skip doses. Since my doctor had done an electronic prescription, this pharmacy would not allow me to pick it up at a CVS a few miles away that does have it in stock. With all the employees you have, you’re telling me someone couldn’t go 2 miles down the road to get it, bring it back, then fill my prescription? So rude. I ended up harassing my poor doctors office and had someone re-do the electronic script over to CVS in Epping instead, as the pharmacy manager at Epping’s CVS says they ALWAYS have this med in stock... ALWAYS.. since people can’t even go half a day without it. Screw this Stratham CVS I’ll never go back no matter what I need. I’m a mother of two and they basically told me “oh well” when I said I’d be bed-ridden if I have to go 24 hours without my prescription. Jerks! No one has any compassion anymore. Three years I’ve been on this prescription and never had a problem like this before!

The only reason I did one star is because I couldnt do zero. They sent us a 25% off coupon because we are CVS card holders. Have shopped there for years. I went in to use the discount and they said our CVS card was no good. I spoke with the store manager and he could have cared and tried to brush me off. He told me to call some 1-800 number and walked away. I am removing them from my Drs database as my local pharmacy as there are plenty others to choose from.
