Where I once had a bathtub.....a shower was installed. At age 90, never did I think I would be SITTING in a beautiful spacious shower. The worker did a great job, with no mess. He was very professional and pleasant. I just love my new shower. I truly thought there would be days of noise and clutter and PRESTO.....within about 8 hours the work was complete. Lucky me!

Bathtub surround and shower replacement. August, 2021. Looks great and functions well. We had a neo-classic corner shower. Had it removed and full size wall to wall shower installed. Just wish I had noticed shower door height. I am tall so a taller door height would have been good. But this works.

My home needed an old jacuzzi removed and a new shower installed. Bath Planet came and knocked it out in 2 days. Even when there was a slight mishap (pipe broke in the floor) they fixed it quickly and made sure there were no leaks upstairs or downstairs. They kept me updated for the entire process. The only drawback is that they come in and install the bathroom and move on, they dont update the floors (tiles) or walls (drywall) or nothing else but they let us know that upfront.

I was very hesitant about using this company because lets be honest, they are a little on the expensive side BUT let me say that I am extremely happy that I did. This was truly an investment into my home, and after my consultation, and research into the company, I was WON over. The service was amazing, the finished tub and shower is absolutely beautiful. When my husband and I bought our home, it was very outdated. The bathroom had some ugly pink pepto bismol discolored tiles all over the wall, the handles leaked no matter how many times it was repaired, the pipes were so old that we couldnt find them in any store and the tub was peeling but we saw potential and Bath Planet brought it to life. Granted, they only do showers and tubs, so we still had to hire someone to complete the remaining portion but the sink, paint and flooring is the simplest of the work to be done, and didnt cost much. I feel confident that I got my moneys worth and will certainly recommend them. Every employee I spoke or worked with throughout the process was friendly, professional, and answered every lingering question without hesitation.

Please Avoid this company!!!, I almost fell the other day!, I have no money left to fix it!.......Terrible company....do not use!!!!We had a replacement tub installed…..it is horrible! There is a 2 inch drop in the front of tub. We were told that is within their guidelines! They would l do nothing for us! 7 grand and we have to hold on to the grab bars to shower. Just awful! The only reason that I didnt give it five stars was because the sales rep told us it would only take 12 hours for the caulk to dry when in fact it was 24 hours. A Bath Planet representative came to our home to inform us of their showers and what we were looking for. The shower we chose is acrylic, beautiful and affordable. The representative was very informative and used Covid protocol. Within two weeks, I received a call that a man named Ron would be coming out to remove the old bathtub/shower and install the new shower. Ron was very professional, courteous, explained what he was doing and cleaned up the mess afterwards. We are thrilled with the new shower unit and couldnt be happier. Excellent job and choice in using Bath Planet.

Bath Planet installers were great. From the time we were contacted by the installation division to the installation of our shower surround the people were great. I tip my hat to Aileen who helped with the paperwork needed by our association. I also applaud our installers who were on time, respected our home and worked efficiently. Very professional company.

Had a shower install around five years ago. Loved it. Process was smooth, installation was quick and professional. The only issue we have is the caulking.Every year we have a technician from bath planet come out to redo the caulking as it is moldy and falling off the tub. We didnt think much of it after the first year but now its been 5 years and I find that worth sharing in a review. Im not sure if it is the caulking that is the issue or installer error. Four different people have replaced the caulking so I think maybe the caulking itself is at fault.FYI-We do wait more than 24hr for the caulking to dry. Also, they come out quickly at no charge to replace the caulking.I cant recommend this company as this seemingly small detail ruins the overall project.

I should have known something was off when after we completed our plan and order, and I got a call the next day claiming our desire to keep two valve stems (because we had just had them replaced a few months ago) wouldnt fit. So within a day, we were upcharged into getting one valve stem, even though they claimed they were only doing it at their cost, and our expenses rose. Then, when I wanted to add my referral on that same day, because I didnt realize there was a referral bonus, we were told it couldnt be added. At the point of sale, we were told tarps would be used and all debris would be cleaned. Imagine our surprise, on the 5/13/21 installation day, when the work started, having a ton of debris fall through the ceiling, onto the floor, on my couch, and on a cabinet with items on it (see pictures below). This was near my wifes work space, and my dog started eating the debris because he was isolated in what I thought was a safe place. We had to ask for the area to be cleaned multiple times, our cleaning supplies were used instead of the onsite workers, and it never was fully cleaned after day one. A few hours later, I could hear the installers arguing with someone in the office how the bathtub wouldnt fit. Low and behold, the installers were correct, the wrong sized tub was brought even though precise measurements were taken. The installers offered to temporarily seal up the shower so we could use it, but we declined fearing it would cause more problems. We waited a day to get clarity in the form of a phone call we were promised, but it never came. We had to call BathPlanet as to what was going on, and when we could expect the project to be completed. We specifically spoke to Dennis, and he was very evasive, tried to place blame on wherever they get the tub liner from, and couldnt give us a date. The ordering blame game may or may not be true, but 1. I dont really need to know those details 2. What are you going to do to fix this inconvenience? 3. Why do I have to contact you on whats going on instead of you contacting me? At this point it seemed apparent that BathPlanet already had us in a no-going back situation, and didnt really care about us. A week later, they called me on the same day they wanted to complete the job, one hour before they were ready to come back and install the tub. We were fearful of declining because communication had been so poor, and we had no idea when they would come next if we said no. Luckily I was able to call off of work so I could be here during the installation while my wife delt with other appointments we had made on the same day. So now was I not only inconvenienced, I was losing money so BathPlanet could fix their mistake. Dennis from bath planet is not customer service oriented, nor did he show any courtesy towards us and this stressful situation. I would never recommend BathPlanet of Chicago because their customer service is poor, they continuously try to upcharge you, and dont seem to care about their customers. I would definitely look elsewhere if youre looking to remodel your shower and bathtub! They just cant be trusted to do the right thing for their customers.

They did a tub to shower conversion. Great craftsmanship and professionalism. They had a difficult window to work around, but the end result was exceptional. In and out in under 7 hours, and no sign of them being there. Except leaving us with a beautiful walk in shower that will be much needed for our senior years .

Very pleased with the work done by Bath Planet on my bathroom! I needed only a tub surround to be replaced, and they provided excellent options, worked with my budget, and the results are better than expected. I was worried I may have overpaid for the work that was needed, but nope - the quality is fantastic, they completed the work in three hours, and all the problem areas in the bathroom were fixed. Great experience! Relined 1956 tub to exact old style. Replaced fiberglass surround with embossed acrylic hexagon patterned surround. Used existing faucet, replaced shower head and drain, added grab bar. Installer arrived early and stayed until job was done, 5:30 pm. Spotless when he finished cleaning up. Tested for leaks and tightened where necessary. Looks beautiful! Less work to clean but fits the style of the house. Love it!

From start to finish we are happy with  Bath Planet and our new bathtub and shower.  Our rep, Ryan was professional courteous and knowledgeable. The remodelers were a friendly and hardworking crew of 3. There are a couple of things I would forewarn future customers of and that is to witness the install of your fixtures for height purposes.   Also, they had to cut out our outdated cast iron tub which resulted in an extreme amount of dust.  I wish one of us wouldve thought to cover my 30 medicine cabinet as I had to clean the entire exterior, interior and its contents  and also wipe down the bathroom walls.

Had 2 representatives come out and give me HUGE difference in pricing. Im talking over 60% difference. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these wanna be crooks. Starting high in retail is normal, not at the obnoxious number I got high then dropping over 60%. Lose value and trust that way. NEXT

He was indulgent in answering my questions and using all copper pipes in my installation. As the final pieces came together, we we amazed at how one man could bring such craftmanship together. The team showed up as promised. They laid tarps down from door to shower and cleaned up as they went out. In between they worked hard and completed the shower as promised by the end of the work day. When we made our decision regarding materials and design, they scheduled the work promptly around our schedule. Called Bath Planet Deals to get a free quote for a tub to shower conversion. They sent Scott out to give me a quote. Scott was super nice and very knowledgeable. Never did I feel he was just trying to get a booking. It was for sure a no hassle quote. He worked with my budget and we signed the papers. The scheduler called a day or so later to set up the installation date. It was scheduled for Friday unfortunately due to the rain we had to reschedule. Ron (the installer) called and wanted to come by to check out the bathroom so he could evaluate the area. We rescheduled for Monday, Ron and his assistant came out for the installation. They arrived at 7:30 AM and was out about 4 PM. There was a issue that came up with the plumbing, but they took care of it with no additional fees! The tub to shower conversion came out amazing!!! I chose them as I found them to be good values compared to others, since I just needed a tub liner replaced. They are local so they were able to get it done quickly in the time they said they would. The person who came in did a good job of cleaning up after, making the whole wet area look like new.

They did a great job with my awkwardly sized basement shower. They added a wall to the back to make it a standard size, and did an excellent job sealing off the edges. Way to much money 12,400 for walk in shower

We used BathPlanet for help with converting my Mom’s bathtub to a shower. From the design process to installation, service has been top notch. She is thrilled with her new shower. It is a safe and beautiful upgrade to her home.

We were very impressed with the sales representative he was very informative and considerate about our need. He didnt try to sell us unnecessary services. We had a new shower wall installed. The installer Sam was very good he was prompt, and completed the work very timely. We had a slight problem with the handle on the faucet after the installation was done, we called Sam he returned and fixed the problem right away, he was very apologetic about it and took full responsibility. I would definitely recommend Bath Planet to anyone

We recently converted our downstairs tub to a shower. Amazed that it took only one day. My wife had hip replacement surgery a week later and is loving the shower. Because of the grab bars and easy walk-in feature she does not use a bath tub seat she needed for her previous hip replacement a few years earlier. I am afraid I just lost my downstairs bath.

Both installs showed up early and were done professionally. Love the look and quality of the final results. We’ll be contracting Bath Planet to do our master bath when it comes time for that project.

The workers were punctual and very friendly and answered all my questions. I was told they would work from eight in the morning till five in the evening but they were done by 2 o’clock in the afternoon. If you are considering any kind of bathroom remodel, I would highly recommend Bath Planet. Our house was built in 1948. The original bathtub was still in place when we bought the house in 1982. Health reasons have caused my wife to NOT be able to use the tub for a bath or a shower. Bath Planet removed the old tub, checked the walls, etc, and gave me an acrylic walk-in shower that is fantastic. I chose white acrylic but they have many options. We also chose a built in seat for my wife and safety bars. Its always wise to get several estimates but I highly recommend that you include Bath Planet before you make any final decisions. Bath Planets first visit was by a professional who was pleasant and knowledgeable about his craft. The workers who installed what we wanted were excellent, friendly, and when they were done everything exceeded my expectations. We couldnt be happier with the results.

I had a tub/shower converted to a shower and I LOVE the end result! I didnt go for all the bells and whistles - just a basic shower (I did splurge for the shelf though) - and was beyond pleased at how beautiful it looks. I was hesitant to have this project done, but Im so glad I did.

Visited Bath Planet and was very impressed with their products. If your bathroom resembles a locker room maybe its time for a Bath Planet makeover and its all done in a day and you will love the outcome. Youll have a bathroom that Ann Margaret will knock on your door to try out.

Are they selling time shares or Bathroom remodels? Very off putting aggressive sales pitch. The sales person was knowledgeable about his product but chastised us openly for not making the decision to purchase on the spot and made it known we had wasted his time for requesting a quote. I too am in sales and if I treated my prospective customers this way I would not have any. Will not patronize this company in the future.

Great experience with Bath Planet! The initial sale was at my house and in the evening -- which I really appreciated the flexibility around a busy schedule. He was super friendly and informative, and helped me think through all my options. The installer arrived right on time and was friendly, courteous, clean and fast. The bath looks PERFECT! I have a very small bathroom and needed to convert from tub to step-in shower. I was not even sure it would be possible. Bath Planet was within my budget, and the installer was a real pro. There were a couple of areas that presented problems; he found creative solutions that still look good. The materials they used are top notch and will last. Everyone I dealt with was terrific in sales, scheduling, office staff and the project itself. Now I have to update the rest of the room to match! Thank you, Bath Planet.

Product seems to be very good quality. Issue is with the high pressure salesman. Was very knowledgeable and polite but caused concern when we suggested price was very high, he offered an additional $1000 off if we signed today and put down 20%. Said we had to sign up today or deal was off. Without offering us time to review the company and their product as well as review other companies, we declined the offer. Nice product but found pricing very high and pressured sales.

Install acrylic in shower covering the tub and walls. Updated the shower fixtures and water connection.The installer provided me with upkeep/maintenance requirements as related to warranty coverage. Very professional.

The team worked great, job was all done in one day. We love are walk in shower and would recommend family n friends to bath planet.

From the beginning we had the most pleasant people to deal with. The salesperson was exceptional and the installers were very pleasant. They completed the job in record time and cleaned up the area before they left. There was only one thing that I noticed and that was the decorative strip was cut a little short (1/4) on the end of the wall. Everything else looked great. The office people are also a pleasure to deal with also.
