Compassionate, kind and extremely thorough. Ive been a patient for many years. Staff was exactly the same and I loved their honest opinion when trying on glasses.

Worst service... they will keep you in dark and not mention what type of doctor you will be seeing. I specifically made an appointment to see the ophthalmologist, but the office never told us that there is no ophthalmologist at this location. They charge you upfront without saying anything and then will have you see the optometrist. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION AND OFFICE!

I am so impressed with the people at rosin. The past few years I have incredible bad luck with my glasses. I have lost them,which I called from Utah in an emergency situation. They replaced them right away. Lately my dog got to them the second day and chewed the lenses. This just a few things I also have grand babies that grab and I need the glasses adjusted or I lose the nose pads. They always are friendly and very helpful and saved me so many times. I would and have recommended rosin in a heartbeat. I went to the previous dr primary eye care for about 30 yrs. I am happy to have rosin for my family they really cared about helping me

She will ask you questions about how your eyes are doing. She is a fountain of knowledge! She has given me a better understanding of my eyesight and what I can do to maintain it.

I started going to Rosin about a year ago. I picked them because of the location and the amazing reviews I read here about contact price matching. My first appointment was good, but the most memorable part was working with staff after the appointment to get the best prices possible on contacts. In past, at other eye care providers, I’ve ended up just buying what my insurance might cover at the office’s price (often only six months worth), and then buying the other two boxes online or at Costco. However, with the price match, a manufacturers rebate she was able to apply, and then a care pack deal (full of contact supplies), the price was so much lower than anywhere else. I ended up with my eye exam, contact exam, year’s worth of contacts, and a big bag of goodies for only $60 out of pocket, which previously had been unheard of. The woman who handled the contact purchasing was almost more excited than I was about the different discounts we could apply to essentially get my contact price down to zero after insurance.I had been planning to get LASIK at some point in the future, and after my initial appointment and getting the cost estimate, I decided to start saving for it. I read more reviews of Dr. Rosin, compared these reviews and costs to other LASIK providers, and it was a no-brainer. Dr. Rosin has the best reputation in the area. I went for a consult, and booked my procedure a few weeks later. I had my consult and follow up appointments with Dr. Patel, and she and the office team she works with are all amazing. She is knowledgeable and makes patients feel very comfortable and confident in her care. Along the way, everything was so clearly explained to me. I ended up needing to have PRK instead of LASIK, but everything had been explained so there was no real surprise. Dr. Rosin was really personable and thorough, and the whole experience was really pleasant. I’m seeing better than 20/20 now, and it feels amazing not to wear contacts or glasses anymore. There were also plenty of ways to save money on the procedure too, including medical insurance provider discounts and other various discounts, that it was much more affordable than I’d anticipated. I wish I would have done this years ago.

The whole experience of getting my new contacts and glasses was very pleasant. The staff really helped me to make informed choices with what my insurance would allow. They worked with me on making sure my vision needs were met. Everyone is really friendly also!

I was overdue for an eye exam and selected this location because of the convenience to my home. I was not disappointed. I thought the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the selection of glasses was great. Very happy with my experience, and Ill definitely be a return-patient. Only complaint would be the time to receive my glasses - I was quoted 10 days, and its been about a month (I received a call saying itll be in next week), but I understand that there are some things outside of control and this does not negatively impact my experience at all. Great location and staff.

Everyone in the office there are very polite and helpful. I have been putting off getting glasses for so long and the staff there made the experience wonderful. Its like a contest there to see who can be most helpful and friendly. My new regular glasses were perfect; my second pair of computer glasses were not quite right and they insisted on fixing it and both pairs are now perfect.

There is a new doctor here, and she is sweet and has such a nice manner. The other doctor retired. This office is very accommodating and theyve been taking care of my glasses and contacts for a number of years. I moved further away but still make the trek to have my eyes checked here and get my glasses and contacts through them. As I get older, I appreciate being able to see and read through accurate prescription lenses! Thank you so much

I purchased a 273 dollar pair(before insurance) of glasses and the left screw wouldnt stay in, I brought it in twice, said the problem should be fixed and wasnt. I tried to fix it myself and it broke today. Warranty didnt cover it after i tried to fix it. I was tired of bringing it in for the same issue.Manager said she wanted to help but policy says i have to pay 50 dollars for new frames. I said I shouldnt have to pay anything for glasses after I purchased 9 months ago that retail for 273. Manager hung up on me. said I raised my voice. I was upset . Terrible customer service after they have your money. Wouldnt recommend buying glasses there to anyone.No issues with any exams, but glasses are expensive and flimsy!5 years ago messed up a prescription and kept telling me I was the problem, when they finally admitted they made the mistake!

The office was kind enough to take me on the same day that I experienced symptoms of pink eye. Doctor took one look at me and prescribed medicine that cleared it up! Thank you doctor and office staff for helping me.

This store is the epitome of greediness. I went in for an eye exam. They recommended I try daily lens and gave me free samples. I tried them out and didn’t like them. I told them I preferred my weekly acuvues that I have been wearing for years. They wanted me to schedule another eye exam for them to prescribe it. It’s just another ploy to bill the insurance company twice. A true example of what is wrong with our society these days. Everybody wants to get paid more for doing less!! I would definitely avoid going here.

I started coming to this location a little over a year ago. Recently I had some issues with my eyes that became a concern. I went in to have them checked out, but after a while it still wasnt getting better so I returned. Come to find out, after many years of the same contact brand I was allergic to them and had to switch (who knew!). I was SO glad the doctor was able to figure this out. She is very friendly, and made me feel like she wouldnt give up until we had everything figured out and I was comfortable again. Everyone at the office is friendly, and make you feel cared for.

I was needing an eye appointment for my 7 year old and remembered my friend Daniela worked at a eye doctor! I messaged her right away and she gave me some options on times and we got him in right away! The doctor was great with him. He made my lucas laugh and feel so comfortable! Lucas can not wait for his first pair of glasses! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

I forgot the doctors name and the guy I dealt with afterwards hooking me up with the frames but both were incredibly nice and patient with me trying to decide between a dozen pairs of frames (which Im sure can get really old). I first came to rosin because it was really close to my house and they accepted my insurance. I usually went to lens crafters in woodfield. I dont know why but at this place I felt more welcome, the girls were really helpful in picking out some glasses that not only I liked but that my girlfriend would like as well. It was pretty funny, my girl was on my phone via video chat talking with the girls at rosin. At the end we all agreed to a pair.Great place. And the doc that did my exam was very patient with me. I kept changing my mind on what lens was better. Towards the end we were talking about sports. Like I said great place

This used to be Primary Eyecare which was a privately owned optical shop and Dr. Combs and his staff were always excellent. I went there one time after it was bought by Rosin and as always Dr. Combs did a thorough exam and was wonderful as always but the new Rosin staff was less than personable and as other reviewers have said, it seems that now they are all about the upsell. I felt like a target with a wallet. Not what Im looking for in a healthcare establishment. I have not returned to Rosin Eyecare even though Dr. Combs is wonderful and still there (I think)...

Total lack of comprehensive customer care, after your purchase has been made. I ordered 3 pairs of glasses July 6. The Ray Ban sunglasses came in 1st, the broke the next day. I took them in for replacement and rather than taking a new frame from the display case and repairing them immediately, they elected to send them back because it will only take 5 days. I finally got them Aug 1st, and only after I called to see if they were in.My progressive prescription was wrong on the next 2 pairs of glasses. 3 days after I received the 1st pair, I brought them back for modification which they said they would do immediately. 3 days later they called me and said they had a question about my prescription, so they had never even processed the order at that point.My progressive safety glass prescription should have been addressed at the same time, but wasnt, so that when I went to pick them up on AUG 2nd, they were wrong and itll probably be ANOTHER MONTH until I see those.The other poster that mentioned their big push was for selling expensive frames was also spot on.I will take my future business elsewhere.

This review is actually for the Rosin Eyecare in East Dundee. From the friendly receptionist, to the very knowledgeable Dr Weinstein, and to the fantastic woman who helped me pick out a new pair of glasses (I am the most indecisive person in the world) my experience at Rosin was wonderful! I had been going to another eye center for the past 25 years and I was tired of being chastised for not going enough, made to feel like a burden when I would call to try and set up an appointment, or struggle to actually be fit in to see any of the doctors. Switching over to Dr Weinstein and Rosin was a great decision for me.

Thanks for nothing, could not determine the cause of my problem, gave me the eye drops and send me to real ophthalmologist. And yes cross my fingers for eye drops to work.

(had an appointment) The manager daniela and kiana were super sweet and didnt mind showing me 100 pairs of glasses was super patient...... Its a busy place but well managed by employees who care, very professional office with great service.

The Dr was ready right after the first room and was really nice and helpful. And then they checked my insurance and as ready for me when i was done with the Dr, the girl named Kamaya had everything ready and knew how to get the best from my insurance plan. They made everything so simple for me and got a great rates for high end glasses and got me into contacts for the price i used to pay for basic glassses! So im a super happy customer and i highly recommend. They know what they are doing here and got me in and out with all my question answered and was super baby friendly. Thanks so much

My experiance over the years of going to Rosin eyecare have always been wonderful. The staff at the Streamwood, Schaumburg, Elgin and Lombard offices have always been kind, caring and patient. They remember us when we come in and they have even adjusted my sons glasses (not from there) when he accidentally lost a screw so we didnt have to drive 35 mins away to his eye doctor. I just had my lasik procedure doem with Dr Rosin this year and its bee amazing!! I will continue to refer them as I always have for their excellent customer service!

Save your time and money, and do not bother going there! All they want there is to sell, sell, sell. You can buy glasses and contacts online for a fraction of the price Rosin charges! Constant people rotation means that this place does not care about its employees. All current opticians are clueless as to what they are doing. Lazy management, lack of customer service, poor quality lenses and coatings are only few to name. Takes forever to get a poor quality pair of glasses from there...Do yourself a huge favor and go somewhere else!

My frame was damage by the 3rd company that Rosin Eyecare uses to replace the lenses and Rosin replaced it with the frame of my choosing with no cost. I’m extremely please on how they took care of me!

My son Kyler wanted to learn how to put contacts instead of wearing glasses. Daniela Laudando is the contact Queen! With much patience, persistence, and guidance, Kyler finally is able to put his contacts in and take them out. Kyler felt very comfortable with her and said that she made a big impact because he was ready to give up and go back to glasses. I mentioned his discouragement to Daniela as she asked me how Kyler was doing practicing at home. Daniela was determined and said bring him in. The two worked together and made it happen. Kyler thinks Daniela is super nice and funny. We both recommend Rosin Eye Care to all who are in need of an Optometrist. The eye doctors and staff are courteous, helpful, and great all around.
