Originally gave a 3 stars review but after coming here for quite a while I decided to change that to a 5 star review. Wonderful people that work here all super friendly and willing to talk and discuss with you about items or about life in general. Very clean shop with good prices and lots of character. I love going in and talking to Jake about coins, cards and comic books. Craig is cool too but hes more down to business. Carly is very sweet and great to talk with as well. I just met the owners recently and they seem nice as well. Bought a lot of coins from here and only one I was sceptical of which is posted below. Im still not completely sure if that coin is real or a very good fake. It does attract a neodymium magnet but I brought it to two other coin dealers and both thought it was genuine. Maybe the outer coating is magnetic 🧲. Id still like to take it to a coin dealer with an x-ray spectrometer to see whats really going on here. Anyway sorry for the original review I misjudged this place at first glance.Original review:Bought about 30 silver coins from this place a couple years ago. Just found out yesterday that one of them was a fake. Lucky it looks like its just one but still a little upset they didnt do their due diligence on it. Make sure if you buy from them to test the coins at the very least with a strong neodymium magnet. Ive got a gold plated fake silver American Eagle that you can turn upsidedown and it will hold a strong magnet to it. Glad it was only one or else I would have done one star.

Took my son here because of his interest in comic books. Upon entry we were warmly welcomed by staff. The gentleman then proceeded to be extremely helpful with where to start as a beginner in comics and gave us a great deal. Very happy with the service, selection, and cleanliness of the store. We will be returning!

My son and husband had been doing business with this store for over 20 years. My son just went to get an honest appraisal for his collection, with hopes to sell. They asked him to leave it (5 boxes valued at over $3k per Comic Base) to allow them to go through it. Three days later, they contacted him and asked him to come in, that they had an offer. When my son came in, not only had they insulted him with an offer of $250, they of SOLD four books from his collection WITHOUT HIS PERMISSION. Only after my son and husband argued with them, did my son get less than 50% of the value of those four books. NEVER TRUST OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE.

First time being their, and will never go back again.. Telling someone your interested in buying and then turning around and saying its junk is ridiculous, and making someone feel like they are inadequate as a person is sad.. The attitude wasnt very inviting either so it almost has to be worth a thousand dollars for them to buy

I was very pleased with my experience selling my gold today. I had just been to Odessa in Twinsburg and was offered $60. When I came to the Collector’s Palace, I was offered $110, almost double! I will be sure to tell everyone I know to come to you for their gold selling needs! Very nice and personable people.

LOVE this place! Very impressed with this family owned business. I stopped in for the first time this week after finding them highly recommended online. I found them to be very friendly and honest. This is one of the best stores I have gone to, it may not look like much on the outside but inside it is a collectors paradise. I go there weekly for comic books but they also buy sell and trade in jewelry, coins, gold, silver and memorabilia. The people who work there are incredibly kind and helpful with finding what you are looking for, they are very easy to work with. I cant recommend this store enough.

Staff took time out of their day to help me with what didnt even bring them in a profit. I will definitely remember them in the future for gifting and or collecting ideas. I think most folks are not even aware of what places like this have for sale inside. It was a nice experience shopping there and even drummed up some memories from childhood with the collectables they had in. Stop on in and hopefully youll have the same great experience I did!

A lot of comics. Staff is nice. Sign out front says, CASH PAID. I lived right by this place and didnt know it had awesome comics. Sign makes it seem like its just a pawn shop, which it is, but it undersells how great the comics selection is. Only complaint about comics are the shelves that hold the comics tend to bend them.

Did not offer anything on numismatic value of coins(2016 centennial gold coins). Very disappointed. Would not recommend for selling. Offered me spot on proof gold eagles 6 months ago. Only offered 95% today. Would be nice if offerings were consistent.

Collectors Palace is absolutely above standards in my opinion. I just started my coin collecting and my father is a veteran collector, and have just moved from AZ. We stopped by Sunday to introduce ourselves and so I could scope it out and take in just how many coins there were and I wanted them all, The two employees there were extremely helpful and willing to talk with us about the coins we have and what got me into it and were just very personal, I even went back a second time that day to buy some more! Whether youre spending a 1$ or 1000$ or selling they will treat you with respect and help you in any way they could, very generous group. I will only be coming to this place!!

I was in there for 30 minutes waiting for help with the money in my hand he helped everyone but me and i asked 2 times then he was just talking about Dungeons & Dragons or something ill never be back

I came into Collectors Palace with some mercury dimes and was given more than a fair amount for them. Its Better Business Bureau approved and Mike the owner was very honest with me about the value of the coins. Denise was also very nice and helpful. Highly recommend this place if you are looking to sell coins.

Mike will most times be fair on offers for gold. However Denise will offer you an 80/20 split and isnt happy if you know what your gold is worth. She damaged an antique piece by testing it multiple times roughly trying to prove it wasnt gold. When I told her it was she still didnt believe the test and roughly tested it again leaving a huge damaged place on this antique ring.

Shop has jewelry, coins and a plethora of comics. Great selection.What keeps this shop from rating higher is about 1/2 of the comics are priced. So you find out the price at counter where they perform a cursory ebay reference.

Friendly local comic shop! What they dont have in Stock, they will gladly order for you. They also do precious metal trades, rare coin collecting, and jewelry trades.

I have been in there several times the past few months looking for watches. Sometimes they have a few and sometimes they have none. I did get a beautiful tag watch from them a few months ago and will continue to stop by and see whats there.

The People who work here dont give u good offers on high price sports cards that are worth $$$$ my card is worth 1800 right now and they offered me 350$ and i asked the guy is that all you can do and he said yea.SO i said you really dont know what the hell this is and i walked out.. but his other employee did and he was half is age and as i started to walk out the door i herd i can believe u let that card go..
