I ordered Donut Scene for family from out of town and did not receive the correct donuts! I had ordered sour cream donuts and didn’t receive them. I called Donut Scene and they refused to help me. I will NEVER order from Donut Scene again as their workers don’t know how to correctly put donuts into a box.

We’ve always had good donuts, but this time the donuts were small. The cake donut was so small with barely any frosting. Plus it fell apart when I tried to eat it. Why can’t we just give the customer what they pay for anymore? Why does everything have to be half the size. Such a huge disappointment.

Always pleasurable, still one of the cheapest dozens, even with the small price increase.

This used to be one of my favorite spots but recently they havent been filling the their doughnuts much. Stop being stingy and fill them up or Doughnut land it is lol🤣

I just went for the first time and was blown away. Its an old-school shop uncharacteristically out of place in between a Chipotle and Brueggers Bagels. But what an absolute gem! The donuts were excellent and really fresh for even a Saturday night at 5 p.m. I will drive out of my way to go back.

Came at 10:35 she was clearly in the window and didn’t want to serve me and told me they were closed which is ridiculous because they used to be 24 hours every day it’s like they don’t want business

Heres the deal: The service is good and the quality of donuts ranges from good to great depending on the time you get them. That being said they dont adhere to covid standards, which is a huge issue given the incredibly small size of the store. While they do have a sign saying you have to wear a mask per the state mandate once inside they do not enforce it at all. I go in almost weekly to get donuts for my staff and the same 6 to 8 old guys are sitting around a table maskless, some at the bar right next to where you pay, and when it gets super busy youre forced to stand next to them while waiting. The last 4 times Ive seen people walk right in without a mask and nothing is said. Our own dear president, 1st lady and their amazing staff now have covid from not adhering to the standards so how can anyone expect to be safe in this tiny shop when the owners dont care enough to look out for other people. In this time, more than ever, we have to support our local businesses, but if you have health issues, work with people with health issues, or just love your friends and family call ahead of time and have them bring the donuts outside or get them delivered via doordash or some such service. Once the pandemic is over, Ill return and change my rating.

Theres NOTHING like a freshly baked donut. You wont get that at DD. This place is awesome. Some of the BEST tasting donuts around. They even make Donut birthday cakes to die for! We have been getting their birthday cakes and there are never any leftovers. People just gobble it up! Donuts are not expensive at all. Great selection, delicious muffins & good coffee too.

So I DONT like donuts, but this place has AWESOME donuts! Its my first time here and I wanted to try a Boston cream. The cream was super tasty, very light in texture. The chocolate ganache was yummy, not too sweet. The flavor of the donut itself was nice too! The prices are FANTASTIC! I said, wow its so cheap! A gentleman from the back said, no not cheap, were inexpensive which gave me a laugh 😊. My nephew got a double chocolate muffin & said, pretty tasty. So try this place out! Yummy desserts, great prices and friendly staff!👍🏾

Second time I have gone here. Good donuts but every single time I ask for cream filled I end up getting custard.Seems rude to rip open and check right in front of them. Also seems like that is the only option. I’m annoyed about it. Probably won’t go back.

What a wonderfully quaint shop! Great and patient employees. Donuts, coffee, cookies, muffins and more along with great hot chocolate. The perfect place to go for a late night sugar binge.

I really like the place but there’s always that creepy lady sitting there literally all night and I hate it. She’s so unfriendly and just stares. If she’s there, I usually turn around.

TL;DR, this place is great for six college kids going on an adventure at 1 oclock in the morning after an impromptu album listening party... it was a wild time and perhaps a bit reckless because we had morning classes in about 8 hrs, but it was worth it because Karen is awesome and donuts are amazingmy roommates came back to the room with three random boys in tow... at 11:30 at night... so we all hung out and had a great time! we listened to Post Malones new album and then the fateful moment arrived........ one of the lyrics was about donuts! so at about 1 oclock in the morning, 6 people squeezed into a 5 person car... we adventured to the only donut shop in the area that was open 24 hrs and claimed our prizes... seven glazed donuts, two chocolate long johns, and a couple miscellaneous ones I cant remember because its 8:18 in the morning and Im running on 5 hours of sleep........ anyways, when we first arrived the ladies were concerned about why we were out so late on a school night, but by the time we left, we had had a riveting conversations with Karen-- we discussed whether chocolate milk was better with 1% or whole (Karen thinks whole but I say 1%), if she wears crocs (she does), if she wears crocs with the adventure strap (she doesnt, but it should be noticed that I like to call it the combat mode), and so many other weird topics. all in all, we got back to school just after 2 oclock and struggled to fall asleep after our adventure. now its 8:24, my roommates and the boys have class at 9 oclock (I dont have class until 10) and were all getting up, getting dressed, and getting ready to enjoy a nice donut breakfast before class.

Were from out of town and seen that this donut shop was open 24 hours so we tried to stop in and try them out. But they closed at 12am the lady said cause her 3rd shift person didnt show up but they had donut on the shelf so I didnt understand why she wouldnt sell use any.

One of my favorite late night 24-hour donut spots, apple fritters here and sour cream donuts are very good. Next time youre out at an event and they have Donuts sometimes they come from here, this is what I know.

I just visited Donut Scene in Strongsville with two of my guy friends. I offered to pay for my friends’ donuts (both of my friends are male and I am a female). The lady behind the counter was extremely rude. She was not wearing a nametag, but she was probably in her late 40s / early 50s and had long brown hair and was wearing a baseball hat. I did not catch her name, but she immediately talked down to me after I had offered to pay. She asked me how I was raised and then went off on an extremely unnecessary tangent about how she used to have a boyfriend and how he would take her to the mall and she would spend all of HIS money on clothes for her. She also said that she wore so much jewelry and gold that people would refer to her as “Mrs. T”. Also, on a separate occasion when I went into this donut shop, there was a fly in the donut case. Needless to say I will not be back.

Im a huge donut fan. I’ll always stop and try new donut spots. My girlfriend and i are driving by and i see “donut scene” I’ve never heard of this place before but we decided to stay faithful to our commitment even though we just had ice cream at chic fil a. We walked in not knowing what to expect and 3 older gentleman greet us at the door telling us how amazing these donuts were.Longer story short, they were AMAZING!! Fresh donuts at 3pm! Can’t ask for more! A MUST TRY!

Im not sure who the woman is that works the later shifts, but I could not be more disgusted with the service. She is extremely rude, not helpful at all, and she stopped my business entirely. Of my multiple poor experiences, one stuck out. I called to order a donut cake, and she was so rude on the phone, telling me to call back because she had all these people in here... I took my business elsewhere and will likely not go back. The donuts are fine, but theyre just as good elsewhere with far more friendly people.

Terrible owner. Im a long time regular commercial costumer. They started shorting me donuts in my large orders. Then have the nerve to argue with me about it. I picked up a box during my last visit. Box felt like a feather. Only 3 donuts in the box. Owner insisted it was full. Either extremely dumb or extremely rotten people.Theyre a big time want to be shop.Feel sorry for a business going under fast.

The floor was sticky, the inside of the shop was gross. The donuts arent any better than Giant Eagle, and at least that place is clean. The lady behind the counter looked like she hadnt showered in days and was rude to customers. I would never return!

Went to Mapleside Farms for a tour and they served us the most amazing cinnamon sugar donuts. Now, I live (and grew up) literally 2 block from Jack Frost Donuts - they won the local best donuts award thing that Cleveland does. I was not expecting much when I was handed this donut on our tour....yet, after I took my first bite, I was convinced I had found the perfect cake donut. Jack frost is excellent, but their cake donuts are heavy and dense. This cake donut was soft, moist and, dare I say, fluffy? I cant even begin to describe to you the faces that lit up when we all were munching on these things. The guide asked if there were anymore questions and we all asked where in the world can we purchase more of these donuts?! Thankfully we were able to pick some up in the bakery section of the store - 5 packages of them! We were then told that, although Mapleside makes their own Apple Cider donuts (we bought those as well and they were delicious), the cinnamon version is from the Donut Scene. I swear - I live about 20 minutes away from Strongsville and I rarely head out that way.....but I may be taking trips nearby just to get another box of these fantastic pastries. YUM!

Good amount of variety of donuts, and tasty at that. Coffee was meh, so stick to the donuts and pastries. Good for anytime of day as they made fresh around the clock.

White cream are the best, but all are superior to the likes in Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme. Proud to work in the surrounding area and patronize this place whenever possible.

This place has giant apple fritters. And I also love both their sour cream doughnut and their French which is a very light, airy, swirled, glazed doughnut. Great late-night treat!

This place is the most disgusting place i’ve been to. When they make the donuts they drop them and will still put them on self. Very rude services from the noon people. They are just in a hurry and will throw the donuts in the box or bag and i will go to grab one and have all sorts of mess. Just a very bad place and services are ridiculously pathetic.
