This place has the best food. The only problem is that I saw the cook Jimmy stick his fingers in my mashed potatoes to see if they were hot! Then he put somebodys frys on a plate with his hands. He should wear gloves or use utensils!
Cute and very homey restaurant very polite service and the food was delicious. I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries or delicious.Pricing is very reasonable for the quality of food you get! I will definitely be back !

Im hoping it was just a rough day. Glass was broken for my juice, leaked all over the table. Food was a little cool. Everyone has off days. Theyve been around forever, Ill give them another try.
Asked cheese burger well done; it came medium rare and to be done over. Served on the same plate that was sent back to the kichen so the fries were now cold. Thanks to a friendly and competent waitress this meal rates 3 stars instead of 1.

Updating my prior review. We have been here now s few times with the same 2 male servers (young and part of the family). We came in on Monday the 13th and the cook was RUDE. The waitress was on her ear pods on the phone. An elderly couple came in 21 minutes before close and the waitress said, you only have 20 minutes to eat and go. The cook, she said to the waitress, they could just leave now. U really. We may never support this place again.

Had the breaded pork (2) chops they were huge and excellent I couldnt finish them, the young man that waited on my wife and me is very friendly and made sure we pleased with our meals. This is why weve been coming hear for years.
I would say the food at this place is anything but gourmet.. corned beef hash was literally from a can, and looked nothing like the picture someone had previously posted. Hash browns and eggs had zero seasoning and were quite bland. Server was friendly but forgot that my dish came with toast and also forgot my friend’s fruit cup order. Then it took about 40 minutes for him to actually take our bills despite my credit card sitting on top of it visibly and him walking past our table several times. We both said we wouldn’t return, there’s much better options within a 5 minute drive.
Great breakfasts. The steak and eggs was perfectly prepared and very tasty. Why eat fast food? For a little more you can get a great meal.

Let me start by stating that the people that work at this business are great. I love their personalities, they are very quick to take your food order. This is the sole reason that I gave them three stars instead of two stars.As for the breakfast that I ordered I was not happy. The bacon was chewy and not crispy and fresh tasting. Im not saying that there food is not fresh. I also had eggs over easy.Afterwards when we received the bill it did not seem to equate to what we ordered.I will say they have their following. Therefore that may be the reason they had plenty of customers. Its probably the kind people that work there.We may try it again in a few months. Possibly order something different and delve into one of their specialties. I am all for these mom & pop restaurants.

Love this simple, inexpensive family-owned restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service is always quick and friendly and the food is great! Sit with the family at booths or by yourself at the counter. Great all day breakfast specials! My kids love the old school vending/candy machines in the entrance!

We had the strawberry French toast and the western omelet. Everything was cooked to perfection, AMAZING breakfast foods ♡♡ the coffee was even good, better than other breakfast places like bob Evans. Good prices, fast service, really nice atmosphere, but the food took the crown. Will definitely be back soon :)

Food was delicious! We got there right before it closed, didnt know the hours since we just stopped to see what it was like. The owner ran out and told us to come in, they would take care of us and we could take our time! He was so nice, staff was like family, prices good and food terrific. I havent been in a restaurant this pleasant and nice in ages. Many are professional, but this place is professional and just plain old nice!!! LOVE IT and will pass the word and definitely return!!! Theres plenty of parking and its handicapped accessible. The portions are very good. The staff and owner go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and enjoy your meal. They have daily senior specials. They have a salad bar for a lighter meal. All of the food is made from scratch.

Did I miss something everyone is saying how great this place is. I thought it was very bad I usually dont complain but I the food was bad cold the bacon was yucky. The place was dark and outdated and seemed greasy. I will eat at home or McDonalds next time.

Terrific family diner
We have eaten here for breakfast and for lunch. The service was excellent. The owner very friendly and nice to talk to. The prices were decent as they give you quite large portions. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the attentive waitress catering to our needs. A nice experience.

Overall a good value and we will be back. My wife and I went about 11am on a Sunday. The restaurant was about 90% full. Service was good and the breakfast items were also good although my sausage was only warm. Serving sizes were reasonably large for the price. Everything was good, not exceptional but not bad. We will be back to try other menu items and lunch/dinner menu.
I really enjoy the breakfast. Such a simple honest business thats been around for years. Service is good. Food is amazing. Prices are super cheap. The omelettes and hash browns are incredible and the breakfast buffet is a dream come true. Im here at least once a month.
Amazingly family freindly environment! Attentive wait staff. Their lunch special for 6.99 is AMAZING. I have never been able to accurately say that I have had such a great homemade beef vegetable soup in ANY resteraunt!(I hate to say it but it tasted as close as I could get to my moms soup.) A must stop for the greatest casual family dining experience. I am definitely going back when I am in the area. A true hidden gem.
The interior is a little rough and outdated, but typical for a greasy spoon type place. However, the waitress was super friendly and the food was good overall. I ordered breakfast food. They cooked the eggs and bacon perfectly to my specifications. Definitely a good place if youre like me and love the greasy spoon diners.

This is a great place for breakfast but otherwise not impressed. We had dinner Friday night at 7 p.m. yesterday and the flyer on the table described Anthonys seasoned prime rib which is supposedly oven-roasted for six hours. What I got was what appeared to be a strip steak that tasted like it was boiled. No flavor whatsoever. My wifes chicken paprikash looked good but it was flavorless.. breakfast great, maybe a burger they can do right but everything else I would go somewhere else for.
Were regulars here. Honestly, the food is good. Nothing too special. But the service is something else. Staff treats customers like family. Kind big-hearted people who will bring you a meal.
We like coming here, however its hit or miss with the food being hot and fresh for the breakfast buffet. The owners are very friendly and it has a nice atmosphere. My kids love it.

Ive been here a couple times and each experience was different. The 1st time was delicious and the 2nd was not. I ordered the same breakfast each time. Both times I visited, the staff was very nice and friendly and I never had to wait too long. The environment is good, its lit well and theres plenty of seating!
