Great place to try exotic jerky and snack sticks, great place to get spice rubs and seasonings and the best varieties of hot sauces around! I even bought a live scorpion pepper planter and some spices and cures to make my own homemade jerky and snack sticks. Terry (The owner) is a very personable guy and his prices are fair to say the least. We even had a short discussion on the merits of Prague powder (we both liked it!) in the jerky making process.

Very cool specialty store! The jerky was a bit expensive but thats sort of to be expected. It was high quality stuff too. There was a huge selection of hot sauce- and they had stickers on them to indicate heat level, which was super helpful and a scale that made sense! The person at the register was helpful without being intrusive which is nice haha. Cool place!

This touch of personal human connection is overlooked in business today and I was very impressed they took the time and cared about my business enough to go all out. They have some really great jerky and a huge variety including rabbit jerky and other not as common options.They are also reasonably priced!

Awesome place!! Two owners helped and gave samples of things we were curious about,tons of information and DA SAUCE!!! Tons and tons of hot sauces! Bought some Satans blood hot sauce and wow!!! Love this place well definitely be returning!!

I tried different kinds of so called exotic snack sticks from this place and they all tasted the same, like another slim jim. I then found out that you only need to use 20% of the meat that it says on the package for it to be called whatever meat it says on it. For example the Elk snack stick I ate only had 20% of actual elk meat in it and the rest was fillers, citric acids and other garbage. If you want to eat real smokies with no citric acids,fillers or garbage, you have to buy something like the pistol petes smokies made right in grafton ohio. I think they wholesale them to retail stores now too. I dont know where they make the snack sticks they sell at jerky and spice in strongsville, but it certainly isnt anywhere around here. I wasnt too impressed.
