An honest mechanic? No longer an oxymoron! They saved me 1600.00 when my Honda (just out of warranty) air conditioning system went on the fritz. They told me to bring it to Honda even though it was out of warranty and insist they fix it. I did, had to throw a fit (which Golden Gate told me to do) and they fixed it for free. Golden Gate could have pocketed the 1600.00 but they didnt. We in Stuart are so lucky to have them,. Im a lifelong customer now.

Came in with leaking tire air stems. Left satisfied knowing that my tires were safe to drive on and with more information on what I need to do in the future.**Edit**After taking tires in for a tire patch, noticed that there were scratches on this inside of the wheel. Exactly where they would be if they gouged the metal wheel without using a rag to protect when taking the tire off the wheel. Disappointing to say the least.

Love this place! I have used them for the past 3 years for tires and maintenance. They do honest work and have good prices. I bought a Tesla Model 3 a year ago. In order to lift the model 3, you have to have proper equipment to do it (which they have), and they know that the car has to be lifted in a different way.Give them a try and youll never want to visit anyone else!

I needed a professional invoice and the owner refused to give it to me. He gave it to me on a little piece of paper. His coworker grabbed a real invoice but the owner said the little piece of paper was fine. I knew I was being treated unfairly and I can tell that the owner was used to treating people like this. He told me what he gave me would work anywhere that I take it but I knew better. I took it to the agency anyways just to see for sure and just like I knew what would happen if it did. Their exact words were, THAT WOULD NOT BE APPROVED, IT HAS TO BE A REAL INVOICE!

I was up here for my sisters wedding! Although I got my car serviced before I drove here, I ended up with a flat tire. My valve stem was leaking air. Went to local Walmart, where I was given the worst attitude ever. I was told by a nice customer inside of ealmart that I should call up Golden Gate Tires. Best kept secret in Stuart. Going to mechanics used to be so damn stressful for me because its so hard to know who to trust. But Richard and Gordon are the best in town. Never had a worry since. They dont just do a thorough job, they look out for you even when there isnt money to be made (thats how I know I can trust them). The first time I went to them I had a hub cap issue that was going to cost me $1,000 at other garages. They had a better solution that was faster, and after they had fixed it, they didnt charge me anything. Over the years theyve done this kind of stuff for us over and over again. They have saved my family collectively around $15,000 in this fashion.

Their always nice and friendly and always give you the answers you need. If you need air in your tires you just pull up without even getting out the car and they will check and add the air you need. It doesnt take long for oil change or new tire. Very professional

Awesome place. I needed 2 used tires right away because one of my tires was losing air and the other was completely bald. I called and they had 2 tires that were my size there. He only charged me $40 total price to replace them. I am DEFINITELY a lifelong customer now.

Golden gate tire a very good shop to go to. Gordon and Rich took care of me like I was a longtime customer even though it was my first time there.I had an accident on Christmas morning that blew out two tires and split a rim in half and some internal damage, they fixed it right away with very efficient service. They treated me very well on the price and I highly recommend it to anybody that is in the area.

Ive always been happy with their service until now.I took them my rv for 4 new tires, and even after I warned them as to not jack it up by the axles, they still jacked up one of the axles by almost in the middle.The boss had assured me the axle could handle it.Now I have a bent axle and tires wearing down on the outside.Dont know what its going to cost me to get it straightened out.Mad as hell.

I am giving you a 5 star review in consideration of 35+ years receiving excellent service from Richard. However, had my latest experience with you been my first, I would have given a much lower rating. Gordon charged me $200 to replace my battery with a $140 battery. He charged me for a diagnostic test that I told him I didnt need! I simply wanted to know if the battery was bad. I dont mind paying an installation charge, but $60? (Wal-Mart would have installed it free.), $60?!?!? Anyhow, Im sure its a good battery, though a rude awakening. Talking to Gordon, I can see that he has no interest in customer service, only the bottom line! Since it appears he is now at the helm, I wont be back! Thank you for everything, Richard.

These guys knew what theyre doing! Friendly, no nonsense, great service and not just tires and brakes! They can do complete engine rebuilds, transmission work, or simply replace your wiper blades. They have been in that location for over forty years.
