Ive been dealing with him for over a year. Im sorry I didnt write this sooner!! Im very picky on who works on my bikes! but I must say John is a very good bike mechanic really know this stuff! Not afraid to go above and beyond and definitely not trying to break the bank!!! very friendly & personable!! And as long as I own bikes hell be working on them!!

Cant speak highly enough about my experience at ProCycles! I brought my bike in to have a flat tire repaired after having the same tire changed at another area bike shop the week before. Instead of just changing out the tube, John did a careful assessment and found structural issues with my tire. After explaining that I only needed a quick fix until I get the bike home, he didnt try to upsell me with a new tire and provided some of his tricks of the trade to get the tire ride-able in the interim. Knowledgeable, professional and personalized service at a very reasonable price. This is how you wish all the businesses you deal with would operate. Thanks, John!

Just moved to the area and I needed some tubes for my road bike. The owner was really friendly; gave me some maps; told me about some cool places to ride; didnt treat me like I didnt know anything about cycling just because I am a woman.

I drive past three other bike shops to go to ProCycles.John is great. Weve been taking my wifes bike in for repairs for the last few years. I finally decided to purchase a new bike. I needed something I could ride in a triathlon but also take out onto a mountain bike trail. John found me the perfect model. All I had to do was change the tires. He spent 30 minutes with me going over the best way to change them.You cant beat his customer service. Youll always be treated with respect and hell never take advantage of you.

Fair and honest bike shopA few years ago when I was looking for a road bike I visited many different shops in south Florida. Some took little interest in helping me find the right bike and others were very eager to sell me what they had on the floor even acknowledging the fit wasnt perfect, but that some racers preferred it. The owner of Pro Cycles spent a lot of time explaining the differences and doing his best to help me first decide what type of riding I was interested in. With that out of the way he helped me understand the differences in the huge price differential in road bikes and what you were buying when you chose from the same model with a price that varied from $1500 - $3500. When I tested a new bike he had on his floor that seemed to be the right bike for me he noted that it did not fit properly. Instead of selling me what he had he suggested he could order the proper size. Because of his sincerity and honesty I decided I would rather order a bike from Pro Cycles and wait rather than go looking elsewhere for the correct size and instant gratification.The sale was not the end of the relationship. After getting the new bike and riding for awhile the shop called and asked how I was doing. When I explained how I was progressing they offered suggestions on training and invited me to join one of their group rides. I soon learned I was not alone both in my new found sport or in my admiration of Pro Cycles.Anytime you need help they go the extra mile to get the part, call the manufacturer for support, or process and follow up on any warranty. Pro Cycles is an example of the best of what a local bike shop(LBS) is and should be.

John tuned up my wifes bike (actually a recumbent trike), fixing a long-standing problem with chain derailing when bike was rolled backwards. Others had tried and failed to fix it, John got it working. Great quality work, and reasonably priced bikes and accessories.

I have tried several....ProCycles is easily the best in every way. The best mechanic in the south. Love this bike shop. Wish I had this good a mechanic up North.

John the owner is top notch. He took a 17+ year old Giant MTB with outdated Hydraulic brakes...and converted into regular cable brakes. This may seem like no big deal....but I have had this bike at 3 other shops before finding John....and not a single shop could/would help me. John had to call the factory, use spare parts and basically re-build the bike. Almost like having a brand-new MTB....and very affordable knowing how much time he had to spend on it.I have a new bike shop and am stoked!

Fantastic service and good prices. I appreciate the honest answers as I have brought 3 bikes in for repairs and tune ups. The owner is always at the shop and does his own work. He listens and gives honest feedback never trying to up sale as other shops do. I will continue to use Procycles and recommend them to everyone!

ProCycles is the best. I am a retiree looking to bike for some exercise & to break up my walking routine after 40 years of no biking & not alot of fitness exercise. I received unrushed personal attention & tutoring to get the perfect bike & helmet. The price of my spearmint, colored 21-gear bike, helmet & cupholder were reasonable. (I will probably use a fraction of all those gears). I highly recommend ProCycles.
