Right off the bat I want to say Dave Singer is very welcoming and even took me around the shop my first visit. I came in to have an acrylic dash panel made for my 3 screens and radio and I asked if he could do it that week as I had engines going on the following week and needed the screens functioning. He said he’d try. Well he did it and I picked it up on a Saturday and the panel was perfect. He matched my template and even installed hardware on the backside so there were no exposed fasteners on the front and a great price as well. I plan to have him make a switch panel and would definitely recommend Rocky Point Boat Worx.
Well Alex we tried to make you happy but couldn’t as did another marine repair facility did here in town and you left after I refunding almost all your money and you also walked away with another panel that I guarantee is on your boat at this moment! Was more than happy to try and help you there was nothing wrong with the first panel after it was trimmed to your specs.. And when you are the aggressor expect to get treated that way! We always try and accommodate everyone.
A month ago October 21 I ordered a switch panel from this guy. I arrive to the business at 11:30 and the owner was not there. I call the number on the door and dave the owner text me he was on lunch and he will be back on an hour. I decided to wait because I live 15 miles away. Two hours later I called again and dave told me he will meet me on 10 minutes.I place my order and dave told me the panel will be ready in a maximum of two weeks. Called him two weeks later and after a few calls and messages I was told he is running late and maybe I can pick the panel in two days. November 17 I panel is ready. I went to pick and noticed the switches doesn’t fit. a quick fix using a hand drill and I take it home. The panel is an 1” longer than my dash call dave an he after checking my diagram agree to fix it next morning. Them I noticed the panel was glue with silicon and the design was a disaster waiting to happen because he do not have the tools to make this kind of panel. Next morning he offer me a money refund but after a month of waiting I try to give him another opportunity and ask him to make a simple panel. Today the panel was ready it doesn’t fit in my dash because he didn’t measure it right one more time and also was made of clear acrylic and painted with a cheap spray can on the back. I ask for a money refund and he gave $200 out of the $295 I pay for the panel. by the way he was acting like If I was the bad guy after all the trouble he caused me.Stay away from this place.
