Charged me $75 to put two screws in the side of my radio. Told me on the phone it would be $25 for the dash kit and $50-$55 for 30 minutes of labor. I had to remove the dash panel myself, the owners son dropped my head unit several times, used MY part not theirs, and took only 10 minutes of labor. I had to also put the dash back together after the kid walked off. Won’t refund for the wasted time and pet they didn’t even use. Wouldnt even let me pay with my debit card i had to use cash that wasn’t mine.

John at world of sound helped me thru the process of installing a new stereo in my 2019 f250 Diesel. First head unit was a dud, just my luck, returned and John helped me picked out a nice pioneer. John at World of Sound in Stuart Fl was professional and responsive. New head unit is perfect. Installation was on point and the professional handling of dealing with a dud head unit was perfect. Perfect!

I paid $1500 cash for an install of an amp, 2 4 door speakers and a subwoofer. My receipt had no breakdown so didnt think much about it until I saw the prices on the boxes for parts only totaled $650. That means they charged $850 for the install which is way too much. Ive tried resolving this for over a year. No help...especially from the lady who manages the office. Took 4 months just for her to speak with me and thats because I finally caught her in the shop. John does great work, but sales is a rip off!

1st time experience today has made me a customer for life. Had a simple backup camera installed, not simple for me to install, but simple for World of Sound. They did a great job . pioneer nex 4200 front to back speakers with the 12s in the trunk they custom made so i still have full use of it . This is the first system i cant put half volume its so loud and clear . I was not sure about audio legion but they rock . made allot of believers after they sit in my car for a couple songs .Nashs did a great job . i will be going back for front and rear cameras and would recommend them to anyone that wants a system installed right . the 4200 is sweet, i can connect my phone wired or stream spotify, and stream my escort live that puts radar alerts thru the sound so you can hear it with the music blasting, and take phone calls all at the same time .Google play navigation works better than my factory nav system i swapped out and also runs thru the sound system . 4 things streaming simultaneously thru my galaxy s8 and the 4200 head unit just blows my mind . hope this helps .

Went for a consult and scheduled an appointment. Everyone I met there was not just courteous but friendly and genuinely seemed to care about my speaker issue. Seem to be good people. They looked at my system and scheduled me to return for 4 new speakers. I will update with that experience. I feel confident that my 2nd encounter will go smoothly

Great company! I Had a great experience with World of Sound, they installed a backup camera on my work van. I brought my van in and picked it up same day, just as they had promised. The technician Bill, I dealt with was very knowledgeable and experienced I would without a doubt recommend these guys to perform electrical work on my vehicles, and will do so myself in the future. One of my friends reccomended them to me when I mentioned getting my sound system installed, and it was the best choice I could have made. Chris and John were both very friendly and informative. If you’re looking for any repairs or upgrades they’re affordable(did the same job as another shop at almost half the price) for the average person but with professional work and it won’t be a whole day errand as they don’t waste your time! I needed help connecting my old Bose cube system up - after it was disconnected for home repairs and the back speakers were not working. I thought I was going to need a new system - but Bill knew exactly what was wrong and fixed all of the connections so it is working again! Ive had multiple sound systems competed by this place and would highly recommend. Just had my 2020 Silverado outfitted with 2 10 subs under the back seat. The staff is very knowledgable and stands behind their work and their warranties. When I had an amp short out on my last system they replaced it completely free of charge because it was an issue that I had no control over. Couldnt say enough good things about this place!

I had a Swann home security system installed. The tech William/“Bill” was awesome. He was on time & explained everything he was going to do. It was raining & he had to install 2 cameras in the back of my home, but the rain didn’t prevent him from completing the work. I would use World of Sound again & highly recommend.

My salesperson Chris, was able to set up several cd players and helped me to decide which was the best option for my situation. Fair pricing and pretty straight forward company, they dont try to upsale which means alot about their integrity. My only two complaints are that he left the drywall dust on the ground when he drilled for the anchors and ( this is extremely minor) they didnt call me to let me know they were on the way BUT he showed up right on time. If youre new to surround sounds and home theatre give these guys a call.

Bought stereo there and paid to have it installed. Returned to pay to have the same stereo installed in my next car. Instead of treating this as a chance to build on a relationship, salesman said that they could not install a JVC radio they sold into a Mercury Grand Marquis because they didnt have the 16 pin connecting plug -- even with a no rush, schedule later, appointment. Seriously, a common $6.99 part (I know, because I ordered one before leaving their parking lot). . . Having agreed to a $160 charge for parts and labor for a second installation (no speakers, just radio) I was so surprised at the salesmans statement that he couldnt do anything with it that I said okay and left. Felt like a failed upsale, but whatever this was, it was the opposite of know-how. Salesman seemed disengaged with communication and more interested in padding cost. Would gladly have paid for the connector from them, but we never got that far. I didnt wait for the upsell. Im extremely friendly, but this had a bad vibe, almost as if just wanting an installation was an inconvenience.

Installed a Pioneer head unit and MTX Audio (2)12” sub kit in my 07 Dodge Caliber. Later also had A World of Sound install a Pioneer head unit, Powerbass (2)12” sub kit, rear camera, and a black aftermarket suede headliner in my 07 VW Passat wagon. This family owned shop was a pleasure and their work deserves 5 stars.

Used Velcro to install DVD player. Now the headliner and dvd sags so bad. Lady at front desk is just nasty so rude! Also charged much more than quoted because they had to change the way it was hooked up compared to our old DVD player. Our old one didn’t pull the whole headliner down.

After being a loyal customer for our local business for several years, we have decided to break our professional relationship with WOS. In short, they sold us the incorrect equipment, and when called to service the equipment, the owner failed to show up or even call on two different occasions. When they finally did come out to service the machines, they gave us a new estimate of over three times the original amount and included obviously unnecessary equipment and labor (including parts that our owner found for hundreds of dollars cheaper online) and when we called to express our displeasure with the poor service we received, the owner preceded to yell at us on the phone. We then wrote an email to complain and received a scathing email back. Regardless of whether we were right or wrong, its extremely inappropriate to yell and be disrespectful to a customer. Im sure other people have had great experiences with WOS, but this was our experience and we were not happy with the poor service we recieved.
