My family loves this store. It’s our first stop every time we visit Door County. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The selection of gear and clothing is great. Plus, they put on a fun, kid-friendly Halloween party!

Very helpful and DC nice! Was heading up the peninsula and realized I had a kayak paddle issue (long story) and stopped here. They tired so hard to find me a rental paddle. One of those experiences where you leave thinking “the world ain’t that bad after all…” good place!!!

Rented some bikes from here, good experience road for two hours.

Bay Shore Outfitters selection and service is similar to Door County in that its an absolute pleasure to talk with their staff and gather the information needed to make an informed purchase.That said, my order for a SUP has just been placed! The staff are very friendly, happy to answer questions, and genuinely great. You dont feel a sense of unease after making a purchase like you may experience in a larger city.Ill be back in the future for kayaks, paddles, lifejackets and all that fun stuff. Unlike the larger stores like Walmart, their staff has plenty of information not just about their inventory but also the surrounding area and places to explore on land or sea.

The owner was super helpful when I was in a pinch looking for pants for a backpacking trip. He suggested pants that would work well for what I needed, and when they didn’t have the size I needed at that store he drove to the other store to grab my size. Very nice and very helpful.

I have always loved our Sturgeon Bay - Bay Shore Outfitters. We are so fortunate to have such a great store offering a wide variety of outdoor lifestyle brands right here in Sturgeon Bay. Their pricing is right on with online retailers as well as stores in Green Bay-I do a lot of retail research! ;) Mark and Julie are always there with welcoming personalities and make you feel right at home. I just finished up some of my last Christmas shopping needs-and *spoiler alert* there will be a lot of Smart Wool socks under the tree for our family! (awesome selection of Smart Wools if you are a fan like we are!) I cannot say enough good things about them and have referred many friends and colleagues to go check them out!

Wonderful customer service as well having a large inventory of clothing and sports equipment. The process for renting out a kayak was very easy also having the staff bring out all the necessary equipment made the process go smoothly. Would recommend coming here for rentals.

Rented a couple kayaks from Bay Shore Outfitters. Prices were reasonable and staff was great! The Kayaks were nice, it was a couple block walk to the beach to launch the kayaks. They provided carts to roll the kayaks to the water.

AWESOME! Just a delightful and beautiful store! Was in yesterday doing last minute/frantic Christmas shopping. Mark and his staff were super friendly and helpful. I expected to find things for just my husband, but ended up finding clothing for five other family members and myself on my list! The selection of clothing is one of kind and excellent - great assortment of colors, patterns, and even the RIGHT sizes that you need when shopping for loved ones. Yeah I could have saved a buck shopping in Green Bay or online, but being about to touch and feel the clothing in person to see it’s quality and how the sizes run was important to me. Very happy to find Bayshore Outfitters and look forward to visiting there much more often in the future!

Wasnt what I expected it to be. But if youre looking for that type of store you could go there. Its definitely a camping store as Google suggests. Lots of clothes and not a wide selection of equipment for sports.

My girlfriend and I stopped to look at standing paddle boards on the last day of our vacation. Almost right away, Suzie approached us and answered every question we had with zero pressure. Every question we had was answered with great detail and we even left with plenty of information to make an informed purchase. I would not hesitate to go back for anything outdoors related!

My wife and I rented a tandem kayak from Bay Shore and couldnt have been more satisfied with our experience. I booked the kayak online and showed up at the store at the day and tie indicated in my confirmation email. A kind employee helped us with our life jackets and paddles and then showed us how to put the kayak on the roof. My car had no roof rails so we put two foam pads under the kayak and ran straps over the kayak and through the windows of the car. The whole process was very easy with two people lifting the kayak on top of the car. One thing to note, the part of the kayak that touches your roof and is not on the pads could scratch the paint. Laying down a towel wouldnt be a bad idea. Out on the water, the kayak was stable and responsive. Returning took maybe five minutes and we were one our way. Thank you Bay Shore!

Had the best Turkey sandwich ever! It had crunchy toasted bread and gooey brie, salty smoked Turkey and sweet cherry jam, and fresh spinach. Yum!

Old lady that seemed sick was coughing all over without a mask on during COVID 19. I entered the store trying to buy kayak accessories when she proceeded to cough on me before telling me I needed a mask to be in the store. She was a worker.

Friendly workers and decent sales. By no means an REI or Cabelas, but for most needs in Door Co it works well. Little pricey, but what outdoor store isnt now days
