The buzzed Thai tea, the pulled pork burrito and the bacon Belgian waffle were really well done. The decor is very much the of the nothing matches, ergo everything matches variety, although llamas/alpacas were a common element in a lot of rooms. Definitely gives off wild, college dorm type vibes, which was both entertaining and nostalgic.
We stopped here on our first morning on our honeymoon, and loved it so much we came back on our way back home! The smoked pulled pork burrito was absolutely incredible. I can see why they made it a signature item. The coffee was top notch. My wife loved her red velvet latte, and on my way back I grabbed a pistachio latte that I drank way too quickly (it was that good).
An excellent coffee house experience with friendly staff and excellent food and drink. With a relaxing atmosphere and some whimsical decor, it’s an inviting place to stay for a little while or a bit longer if you can spare it.The staff was courteous and masking while not at the table was observed. Outdoor dining and to go options are available. I recommend the bacon Belgian waffle, included in a picture.
This is a special place. Its a house with so many rooms that are decorated uniquely and make you want you explore each room. The coffee and sweets are great. In all seriousness. It might be my favorite coffee shop and I try to visit as many as I can.Enjoy
Really cute place that made me want to come in and try it out. We came at about 11:30 and there were two people in line ahead of us. We waited a good 20 minutes to put an order in, then another 20 minutes waiting for drinks. I kept watch of time on my phone. Cool menu and eclectic coffee, but not worth the wait.
Cute little place in a converted house. Lots of outdoor seating. Coffee was excellent and made to order correctly. Baked goods were a little odd - my scone tasted rather like a muffin mix.
Cutest shop EVER!!! A real coffee HOUSE! Adorable outdoor seating in good weather,or several rooms to pull up a chair or couch or table to enjoy your favorite coffee or smoothie, and their breakfast burritos are delicious! Also a large selection of baked goods. This will definitely be on our stop whenever we come to Door County!
Coffe was extremely bitter. Some may enjoy this, but I do not. Long wait to order. That being said I will try them again because of the good attitudes and smiles from servers. Also a very nice outdoor area.
In Sturgeon Bay for the weekend and looking for a good place for coffee. Wow! This was way better than good. Been here 2 days in a row now for coffees and a light breakfast. I had the sea salt and caramel both days, my husband had the caramel mocha and the llama. All drinks have been great! We also tried the lemon cake, a blueberry scone, the bacon waffle, and the chorizo burrito. All the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.
I was standing here for 40 min just to get 3 coffee! Just 3..... and I got only 2, staff forgot about 3rd coffee and here we wait again! Terrible service! I tried to asked girls whats wrong?! No apologies, nothing, just we are little bit busy. People who made orders after us already got their drinks... Im very disappointed....
Cool place and good coffee! I would just recommend asking for two paper cups as they are exceptionally weak and tend to buckle under normal use. But overall, great place!
Oh my gosh!! I absolutely loved everything about this place. Cute and quaint inside. Plenty of outdoor seating. Picked a comfy spot on the front porch. My mom had the pork tacos which she kept saying how great the flavors were. I had the avacado ciabatta. Simple but super delicious! Definitely will be back many more times.
I do not understand how this cafe has so many good reviews. The food is not very good, the coffee is horrible, and the service is horrendious. I have gone here three times and each time, I waited at least 30+ minutes, reguardless of how busy they were or what I ordered. I once overheard a customer say he had been waiting for his breakfast burrito for over an hour.
The food was good but I was toldIt would be 30-40 minutes wait for breakfast and I was ok with that being the weekend, but we waited at least 1.5 hours for 2 breakfasts burritos. The coffee was good but we wasted door county time waiting for breakfast. Washington Island would have been better if we hadn’t wasted thattime in town.
Great drinks and great food in an excellent outdoor space. Decor is fun and eclectic. I highly recommend it.
Excellent coffee. They have a nice sitting area outside where you can sit around and enjoy your coffee. They also have couple of hammocks if you feel like just enjoying the day.Overall great coffee and experience
We’ve been patrons for the last few years. We also travel for business and visit restaurants, cafes and coffee shops all over the country. On June 19,2021 we stopped in for coffee and breakfast. To our surprise, no one greeted us when we approached the inside counter. After standing there for 10 minutes, no one said hello or attempted to serve us. We went outside to order from the walk up window. At least 3 employees saw us as they filled orders, but still no greeting. While outside, a family entered the inside area to order for outside dining and was served before us. Yes, they were busy, but you need to serve your customers. Say, hello, let customers know you’re busy and there will be a longer than usual wait. After 10 more minutes outside, we decided that the customer service was so poor, that they simply didn’t deserve our business. This is a shame as we used to enjoy this place. You simply can not ignore your customers. At the very least, smile. Not a single employee smiled in the twenty or so minutes we were there. Wow. After the pandemic can you really afford to do business this way? EPIC Fail, Grade = F
Amazing food with a beautiful relaxing atmosphere! Would definitely come back!
I feel bad giving this average rating to a business that offers very good quality products: excellent food (scones in particular) and coffee, however they have an enormous logistic problem, queues to order are really slow and the waiting time for your order is 30 min+. My guess is that they could have been affected by the current workers shortage.I hope they can fix this and keep the good quality before the customers patience ends.
Cute spot, they focused a lot on the esthetic of their establishment to make it unique. The thing that killed me was the wait. We walked up to the window and it took 10 minutes before someone took our order. It took 20 minutes to receive a coffee and 30 minutes for a milkshake. Our food took an hour and was pretty basic. Would have appreciated a warning that they were behind in the kitchen because it wasnt really worth an hour of my time.
A favorite from our Door County vacation last year this cute coffee shop was a definite stop this year! The atmosphere of this coffee house is so awesome words and pictures just don’t do it justice!!While the drinks (dirty chai and red velvet frappe) were delicious I think decor is what keeps me coming back. From shabby chic features and fun art inside to a wide selection of creative seating outside you just never get bored! Our favorites are definitely the hammocks and chandelier table!!For those with pets or wanting to stay outside they even have a “walk up window”!
Good coffee and breakfast burrito! Fun atmosphere as well!
Based just on the food this place is easily 5 stars… but it took over an hour of waiting for a to go order. It took an hour for just coffee and then even more time for a burrito. It was ridiculous. Some people were there for over 30 minutes waiting for coffee to go.
Great coffeeshop with outdoor patio, easy to access. Service took some tike maybe due to amount of customers/peak hour. Americano was good. Egg Slidies tasty.
Coffee and breakfast burritos. They were extremely busy and we waited 45 minutes for our food. Not much that can be done about that. Cute place
Such a delightful place. Drinks were delicious (spicy mocha 😍). Food was INCREDIBLE (chorizo & egg burrito 🤤😋🤤). It was fairly busy, but it seemed like there was always enough room for everyone. With big & small reusable mugs (and to-go cups, if you prefer), there is certainly a feel of the neighborhood come and stay a while place. I wish I could transplant this happy place home with me. ❤️
Very good coffee! Must try !
The BEST espresso I had in Door County. Fun atmosphere....way better than Kick.
Incredible. Be prepared to wait on the weekends but its worth it!
Great tasting coffee and drinks with a very hip vibe!
Llamas, dolls, and turquoise. Eclectic décor, but the food is not anything but straight good. Recommend their special pulled pork panini or southwest quesadillas. Coffee is good too, with many interesting flavours to pick from - something for everyone.
Wonderful place! I visited during a busy rush yet all the staff were incredibly patient and kind. Cozy environment and a very tasty chorizo burrito. Would love to come back if I make it back to the area one day.
The cutest little coffee shop! We got breakfast to go which was so good! I was a bit surprised by the cost. Cant wait to visit again to enjoy the adorable sitting spaces.
What a gem! First morning in DC and this was fantastic
Very cute coffee house, with great outdoor seating options and excellent iced tea!
What a gem! Lovely atmosphere, beautiful decor, delicious drinks and food!
The food was incredible and so was my coffee! I even had leftovers. There was a bit of a wait but that’s because the inside is closed due to COVID and it was packed. So it wasn’t a big deal at all! The extra time allowed me to sit back and relax, taking in the cute and fun ambiance of the outdoor area. My friend and I ended up staying for almost 3 hours just chatting! The staff was so friendly and even came up to chat about our experience. I mentioned it was my first time there and they wanted to make sure I had a good time! I will100% be returning to try more drinks/food from the menu as well as enjoy the atmosphere!
Im so glad that we found this place on a whim! I ordered a matcha latte and my boyfriend ordered a pistachio frappe. They custom made a peppermint matcha latte for me that was to die for. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to us, even though we arrived pretty close to closing time! We will be back the next time we are in Door County! ❤🍵
Great coffee and pastries, relaxed atmosphere, friendly service. I love that they offer pup cups of whipped cream for the dogs. I love sitting outside there is plenty of seating. Their lemon cake and pop tarts are so good.
Great coffee! Dark roast house drop was delicious. Partner got iced caramel macchiato which was tasty treat. We both tried the pulled pork breakfast burrito which we could have shared. Great outdoors atmosphere in door county.
Loved the Cuban coffee. Must try for coffee lovers!
Love this place. Its fun to have an odd- vibe, off-the-beaten-path, genuinely original coffeehouse left to visit in this pre-wrapped, formulaic, mass-produced world. Weve come here everytime we visit Sturgeon Bay. Been coming since they first opened. Its got a special place in our hearts and the products are high quality. Good baristas, good bakery, good music choices. That is my favorite Door County coffeehouse.
I was at this coffeehouse this morning. The coffee and scone were delicious. However, I have one concern. The girl inside who was taking money, making and handing out drinks and food, was not wearing a mask in the middle of the pandemic. It’s a state mandate. I would have felt much safer if she had been wearing one. If this isn’t enforced, what other safety precautions are being ignored?
CUTE coffee shop with amazing food and drinks as well.
Phenomenal food and coffee! Had the bacon waffle, and it is probably one of the most delicious things Ive ever eaten! Also, had the cafe con Leche, the smoothest coffee ever. What a great experience. Thank you!!!
Pistachio latte was fantastic, hope to come back soon
Amazing breakfast experience on our last morning in Door County, despite the pandemic. Beautiful shady backyard seating, excellent staff, smooth and delicious cold brew, and top-notch breakfast burritos! Will definitely come again the next time we make it up that way!
Super cute place and excellent customer service! Coffee is delish!
Great place. Coffee was really good. We had the egg sliders and breakfast burritos. They are very tasty. I preferred the sliders because of the bread.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Not what I expected walking in, this place is cute, quaint and eclectic. Definitely has some real old school charm. Staff was great and recommended I get the pulled pork & egg burrito. I mustve been so excited about my meal, once I got it I was out the door - completely forgetting my purse. I hadnt noticed I didnt have my purse until home, which is 3 hours away. The owner kindly mailed it back to me! My faith in humanity was restored. Not only is this place a great stop for food & drink, but the owners are top notch. THANKS AGAIN!
I’ve been wanting to come here for a very very long time. Finally was able to make a mini vacation of door county and here was my chance to finally go. I waited well over 20 minutes for ONE latte before asking about where it was. Went to go ask and still had a long time to wait. I’m sure the coffee is fantastic (never got the latte) but wouldn’t recommend unless you want to spend quite a long time waiting. Even the people after me got their drinks before I did. Really sad and disappointed.
Great tacos and burritos, friendly service. Its always our first stop when we get to Door County! An absolute gem!
Great coffee and really good breakfast burritos!
Amazing coffee and breakfast burrito
I could smell the coffee and sweets from across the street.
We came to Sturgeon Bay for a week and ended up coming here every day! The girl working the window was incredibly nice every single time. Excellent coffee. Love that the dirty chai wasn’t too sweet.
Coffee was greatGreat prices. Whole vibe was great. Love all the cute decor. Outside setting was enjoyable.
My wife loves the coffee, that was my first time going, since I work 3rd shift we cant do a date night so we go out for breakfast every Friday morning, and we chose 5th and J. Shes never been there to eat so we decided to give it a try. The food was great, but my only complaint is they give you very small portions. Thats not a place to go if youre hungry, its more of a meet up place with food if you want a snack.
This sweet coffee shop is doing awesome things for the health crisis. It is completely outside and there are reasonably spaced spots to sit and enjoy. This is a great place to go if you are immunocompromised and need to get some coffee and a sweet treat!
40 minutes for food. We left
Love this place!
Tons of outdoor seating, great walk-up window.. plenty of social distancing.Feels like a garden eating area out of a fairytale
Excellent food, curbside pickup with a smile, great coffee! Visiting from out of state and may already have the best spot in town!
Great pulled pork burrito. Their milkshakes are a bit too sweet for my taste but their coffee is top notch!
The staff was so very sweet. My daughter wanted hot coco, but it was to hot for one. The staff made her an iced hot coco. That made my daughters day. Thank you so much.
Cutest outdoor garden with lots of unique seating. Pretty porch too.
Delicious gluten free breakfast food and great coffee. Enjoyed their outside garden area
Staff was friendly, coffee was amazing!
Such a cute place, could spend all day looking at the knick knacks and probably wouldnt discover them all! The menu was good, a little.limited on childrens items, the drinks were amazing. I had the London fog in a house cup and I was shocked how big the cup was! My daughter had the blueberry smoothie and she said it was delicious. Everything was clean, the people were super friendly. Would definitely go back if town. Prices were reasonable for everything we got. A large London fog, a smoothie, a egg dish and a grilled cheese and a piece of the really really good coffee cake $31.00.
Good coffee and scone this morning. It was light raining and people were waiting outdoors, several call orders. I think this place is a hit. Breakfast is served here as well.
Coffee and soup... It was like being served by ones own family with all the love afforded to the first born of some nobility.
Coffee was OK and about right for $3 boutique coffee. However, charging $.50 for a spalsh of alternative almond milk in my coffee to accodate a vegan, was a deal breaker and we will not be back. Also, an answer from the owner to a previous review on why the cashier was not wearing a mask was a legalise excuse that was not a good answer.
This place was very cute and cozy. The restaurant had a very homely feel. The staff was great and the food was amazing and very authentic. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Great place with a homey feel. Standard lineup of coffee drinks, well made. Welcoming feeling: Kind of a where everybody knows your name place, even if you are a first-time visitor.
Great cafe. A nice, quiet place to enjoy a drink and a snack. The cafe is in an old house, which retains much of its welcoming at home feel.
