My name is Jean Mueller & I have worked at N.E.W. Industries for 13 years now. I originally started on the shop floor, as a machine operator on 3rd shift. Due to some allergy issues that I have, I was moved into a different position within the company moving me away from the allergen. I have worked for N.E.W. Industries in Sturgeon Bay, WI for over 22 years. They have provided me with steady employment for all of that time. N.E.W. is owned by Chris Moore. Chris is a wonderful, caring man. He takes time out of his day to walk through the shop and say hello to everyone. He makes you feel appreciated everyday.N.E.W. is a great place to earn while you learn. Everyone is willing to teach you what they know.The pay is good, the benefits are good and they are flexible if you need time for personal business.The hours are awesome! Weekends off! The atmosphere is friendly and helpful. But the most important thing is the steady employment. Throughout the pandemic we never got laid-off. We dont have to work out in the weather like other jobs. My name is Jennifer Soper I have worked at N.E.W. for 14 years. Before I joined N.E.W I was a childcare teacher for about 12 years.When I first started at N.E.W I worked on third shift as a CNC operator with my husband who is a set up tech. After we had a child I was able to go to first shift. Working first shift I was able to learn many different machines around the shop. I have gained a lot of knowledge about machines from my coworkers and taking classes.When Covid started and places were shutting down N.E.W. was able to keep people working.
