Everything about suddenlink is terrible. you also have no other option in this area bc centurylink is slower. centurylink is best actual option here as far as price and customer service but their internet is so slow you might as well be using the data on your phone. suddenlink is SLIGHTLY faster but also cuts out with nearly every storm. all the infrastructure suddenlink put it in at least a decade old but usually older. there is little to no maintenance as far as i can tell. there is only ONE SINGULAR LINE that brings internet into stuttgart, there is no backup, there is no redundancy. weve had out internet go out COUNTLESS times in the past year or so weve been living here. they truly dont give a sh*t about the customers bc we have no other choice. its very frustrating paying just as much as i was in fayetteville for internet with a 1/10th of the speed and frequent blackouts. god i hate suddenlink so much. make sure to vote for a mayor who will end the citys contract with them so we can finally be rid of their overpriced, terrible quality internet.
Not happy with Suddenlink. Ive been a customer all of my life (before they were Suddenlink/used to be Cox Communications where I live) and the last few months have been terrible. I work from home and have upgraded to the best speed available and have replaced the modems 3 times now but my internet continues to go out and takes too long to load when it does work. Im at my breaking point and am currently looking for an alternate ISP. Its not just my internet either, neighbors complain of the same issue. I just dont understand why Im paying this huge bill EVERY MONTH for a service that works at its own grace! I completely understand this last year has been difficult but Im still paying my bill on time and have never once received a courtesy credit and when I did request one, Suddenlink made me jump through hoops and had to see if I qualified. Tried to say that now the issue is resolved (which it still isnt), I shouldnt need a credit.
I’d rather play with 2 rocks than use this internet provider. I had better dial up as a kid than suddenlink. Those free AOL discs you would get in the mail seemed like super speed internet in comparison. Not only does their service go in and out all day. But the speeds are horrible. I mean you will lose internet connection at least ten times a day. Sometimes for hours.
Not only does your service suck but you representatives as well got hung up on the whole time they said they were transferring me we have been out over service for more than 2 weeks have called and told it was weather related as well as there is an outage in our areaWE ARE CANCELING OUR SERVICESThere is not a local office to return the box and we don’t have a pin on the bill !!!!!
Really bad service
All they do is give me the run around no one hads cames yet an im not happy at all
They only offer one speed in our area..I have charges on my bill on things I do not watch..I paid for a service that used to cover replacing the modems we rent that may last a year that doesnt cover that area now..but dammed if we do because there is no more options for other carriers to choose from!
Internet speed always drops to unusable speeds. Goes out 2 or 3 times a week for an hour or two at a time. Only one speed available from them...slow.
Worst customer service EVER! No one ever showed to install my equipment!I asked for my money back and NEVER received that either!
Internet is pathetic, Cable service is ok until equipment fails, then they want to charge $60 for a service call to replace faulty or old equipment. Tried to charge me $60 for a service call to replace my remote which was 7 years old and worn out. They closed the store here in town or else I would have done it myself. Then a month later my cable box stopped working because it was 7 years old and not what they were using anymore, so I had to pay $60 to get a new cable box in living room. Now that I am moving out of their service area, I have to cancel my service (internet and cable) a week before I move or pay the next month of service that I wont even be in the house using. Any other utility will disconnect service on any specific date no problem but not suddenlink. They will only disconnect on the end billing date of the month. I am SO VERY GLAD to be done with this company.
Small town, one cable provider. Screw us.Outages are weekly anywhere from hours to days.Calling suddenlink to get any explanation is useless, once you enter your zip the automated system says being worked on offers callback and hangs up.
Got great help on changing my bill, lower. But didnt sign just yet.
Suddenlink is terrible they never.keep their word about their sale or gift card then your stock with their service which is terrible and goes out
Wait for whole day, no one show up. Never tell you a time they will come
Weve had Suddenlink for about 2 years and weve had problems the whole time. Our bill started at $50/month including the $10 box rental fee and now our bill is $70 but I didnt get any notice of this because I spent 2 weeks dealing with customer service trying to access my account after getting a new phone number. Random outages is VERY normal for them too!
Called suddenlink a month ago to fix cable because it was taking forever to load. They came and said squirrels were chewing the lines. They worked on it said it was fixed. That lasted for about 2 weeks. Then same old thing. Trying to work on my taxes this morning. Internet kept stopping. I depend on the internet just like everyone else does. Its a big part of job as well. We called suddenlink to report the problem and we get told that they cant find our account. They have our address, last 4 account numbers, and name on account. A month earlier they found it just fine. They been finding my account every month to bill me for High-Speed internet. It is anything but that. False advertisement? ? Sorry excuse for a business. Suddenlink, you ARE NOT THE ONLY INTERNET SUPPLIER. THE CUSTOMERS ARE WHAT KEEPS BUSINESSES GOING. WITHOUT US. YOUR NOTHING
Disappointing internet service. Suddenlink is the only internet service provider in my area. The only level of service they provide my area is 3 mb/s over cable for about $40. The price is not bad and the customer service has been very good. However, the connection averages about 1 mb/s during the day and usually nothing in the evenings. Often I am forced to do work over my cellphone connection (which averages around 10 MB/s). I would use another service if their were one. I may cancel and try a mobile hotspot, even at a high cost.
Worst Company i have ever used, their customer service is horrible, service tech cut my line hooking a neighbors service up 6 days ago and still cant get them to come fix this, called 5 times put on hold and nobody comes back to pick up the phone.
They are helpful and kind 😆
Very unreliable especially in a small town
