Trying to locate a specific Belgian Ale. They were very helpful on the phone and in person.

Interesting wine selection, some are well priced and some are over priced. The beer selection is pretty good, but beware of skunked beers. They need to better protect the beers from sunlight (UV rays cause skunked beers), especially since their beers are over charged. Would I go back here, depends on what I am looking for, but I will be cautious on what I pick.

Small bottle shop that sells local + Eastern seaboard craft beer and a ton of some and spirits. Great that they sell single 12 & 16oz cans. Staff super helpful with recommendations. Nice mead selection as well!

When I first discovered this place I figured that it would be mostly a wine shop with maybe one shelf of craft beer. I was pleasantly surprised to find that almost 1/3 of the small shop was devoted to a nice selection of beer. I was lucky enough to meet the super nice owner, Scott Miles, and he walked me through the beer selection, which was mostly loaded with local Virginia beers. Scott mentioned he had just recently taken over the shop (which was previously owned and operated by Bon Vivant in Smithfield, VA) and that he was in the process of expanding the beer selection. He then invited me to come back for the upcoming beer tastings that they host once or twice a month. I found the vibe and quality to be great and the service from Scott was exceptional. I would of liked even more selection of craft beer, but it is a small shop and mostly devoted to wine.
